The view from the rooms is beautifully situated on the Ruhr valley, and especially then, when the sun rises. Breakfast buffet rich.

Angenehme Atmosphäre, schöner Ausblick, leckeres Essen. Alles was man braucht :)

Older owner couple not exactly friendly. Rooms are out of all proportion to the cost of an overnight €97 for double breakfast costs an extra €9, €50 per person. Was fine but not the howler. The shower in rooms probably still comes from the 70s.
I cannot recommend the hotel.

Yesterday (2 June 18) I was at the Burg Hotel Volmarstein on invitation to the "Middle Tafeley. " The reception by the owner was very friendly and I immediately felt welcome. The so-called "Schänke" is a neat little guest room with seat — and counter places. The staff there were very accommodating and attentive.

Very good food, tasty prepared. Friendly and concomitable service with a good price —/performance ratio. Map seasonally aligned. Very tasty asparagus. We are always happy to come here.

The location of the locality is very nice; The event (crime dinner) was also great and fun. The starters and dessert were also completely i. O. This Hotel is perched on a Mountain. You have a wonderful View there. The Hotel is clean and the Rooms are ok.
