The personnel is very kind, and is willing to give you excursion suggestions if you don't know what to do. Location is close to the city centre and is at a walkable distance. Breakfast is every day the same, but reliable in quality, although the buffet is small. Room is good quality with nice beds, but the room isn't profited with a fridge. Television is surprising, er had a Samsung television in which we could plug in our downloaded movies and watch then on a relatively big screen. Bathroom is clean and had its own shampoo and handsanitiser. 5 stars!

I booked a room on the riverside. Because it was very warm and there is no airconditioning, I opened the windows. The whole night ships were ancoring en leaving. The noise of the ancorchains made me wake up several times. When you look out of the windows you only see factories and can smell them as well. The breakfastroom is like a hothouse. The second time I stayed at the hotel I booked a room on the streetside. Because there is no airconditioning the room was steaming hot. There a sunshades but nobody off the staff had come to the idea to close them. But the breakfast was good and the staff is very friendly. For me no more Hotel am Rhein.

We can't give more then 3 of 5. The 3 are only for the great, friendly staff. Rooms are not in the best conditions — they Def need a make over, the floor is horrible. They gave us two single beds even if they knew, I will be there with my fiance. The breakfast had everything you need (correct/right), but it wasn't presented very good. I wouldn't complain so much, but for the prices for the rooms — I was expecting much more from it.

I Find cool, outside like ne Factory but nice and small inside. Clean and soft Beds. Friendly Staff.

From the outside and inside years. The Junior Suit, with worn carpets and two bedrooms rather a dubious pleasure without Wi-Fi. Only the price is the same as with the big ones. If you just want to spend the night, ok, otherwise I tend to not come here anymore. Nevertheless, very clean and very friendly staff. To do this, the thumbs up goes.

Rooms are OK. Breakfast top. Only the ships can be noisy. It fits.

I was in Cologne for professional reasons. For two nights I was a guest. The hotel is located directly on the Rhine. The rooms are very nice and spacious. It was all clean. Unfortunately I have been a guest in the low season… if there is a low season… I have not seen another guest except me… but as described… a beautiful house…

Nice hotel good breakfast clean rooms and helpful staff. About 10 min walk to the tram to Cologne or Bonn. I would come back here.

Good hotel but unfortunately not the best location. It happens that large ships eject the anchor in the middle of the night in front of the window, which is very noisy. Otherwise, however, there is a very tasty breakfast and large, clean rooms. This can be seen very much in the price of the water in the minibar.

Hotel is clean, staff friendly. It all got a bit old, with two visits to different rooms the shower head was not screwed on properly. The food also leaves something to be desired, there is only pizza. The breakfast, on the other hand, offers fresh bread rolls and leaves nothing to be desired. Even if I do not have to bear the costs, since business trip, I could imagine staying privately in the Hotel am Rhein.

Located directly on the Rhine. Good rooms and friendly staff. Can be recommended well. Connection to Cologne and Bonn perfectly by train and car.

Very nice hotel, very friendly personal, direct view on the Rhein river.

Friendly welcome. Good room with view on the Rhine. We had the family room with 4 beds. The beds were a bit soft but it was clean and we slept well. In the room was a small couch for two. Television has no Dutch channels but during the Christmas there were many animated films to watch for the children. Breakfast was very plentiful and we got a sparkling wine on Christmas Day. We were kindly helped when we asked for something.

As coud e expected from a 3 star hotel at this pricing: 3 stars. Room was nice, staff was nice, the breakfast okay. Minor flaws like the shower head not fastenable, not enough outlets for e-gear, balcony somewhat sad and in need of refurbishing, etc. Etc. All in all worth it's three stars no more no less.

Absolutely next to the Rhein. In the restaurant it looks like you are on a ship. You just see only the river. The rooms large enough and very comfortable.

Very nice place to stay, beautiful view, comfortable room, nice people. Good price. It is the kind of hotel for whose contact details you want to save, in order to come again.

The reception and service are very nice and attentive, the rooms are comfortable, I slept very well.
