Very nice Hotel in the Pedestrian Zone. Very friendly Staff. Only Mango, there is no Lift.

We felt super comfortable from day one. Staff super nice and helpful. Gaostees are beautifully renovated and have a homely Charm. Unfortunately, the Rooms are a bit old and could also use a new Flair. Still, everything was very clean. We would come back …

The kitchen can only be recommended. A little priced, but the dishes are worth the price.

The condition of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Urgent renovation needs! In our room we had no TV reception nor reached us the Wi-Fi signal. The dinner there, however, was delicious!

Cheap hotel that has come a little in the years.
Rooms are OK, the bathroom relatively newly renovated. The night sleep was disturbed by noise from a fan/air conditioner.
The breakfast and the friendly hostess stand for the four stars.

Mrs and Mr. Leve are extremely friendly, helpful and generous. Great hosts as if you were home. Also the ladies at breakfast are always welcome and help where it goes. It is a small, cuddly hotel with excellent restaurant and the best wines that are professionally served and explained. 2 minutes to the Rhine, the value for money in the hotel is right and I feel comfortable every time. I'm only going to stay there when I'm in King's winter. Thank you!

Hotel which has been very strong in the years. Somehow the Zeitsteheh remained. The TVs are I believe even from the very past. Every smartphone has a bigger and better picture.

Perfect wines, good menue and a very dedicated host.

Older building which so knows its little flaws. We had a broken armrest and a Schmickspiegel that was just glued and dropped off. Staff was very helpful and financially took the last night we had not been charged for because of bad weather we left early.

The place to go for its splendid food and likewise splendid choice of wine! We tried some German wine with an outstanding quality for a reasonable price!
With the help from the 'patron' our meal was perfectly matched with good wine!

A pleasant surprise. Rooms are basic but clean and everything works, including the Wi-Fi, which is important for business trippers. The real asset of Krone is its restaurant Petit Lion, which really deserves its Bib Gourmand label from Michelin. The surprise menu is superb with unexpected combinations and then there is the wine. You can have a sip of the white Dragon, from the nearby Drachenfels and enjoy your meat with a French classic. Ask the chef for a recommendation, he's been around. Nothing missing at breakfast, the lady serving even asked if we had a preference for anything oven fresh from the nearby baker! Königswinter is energising its romantic Rhine tourism. The cog railway from 1882 heading for the Drachenfels was renovated. At the summit you have a magnificent view of the Rhine as well as a brand new panoramic café-restaurant. Next time I will book Krone, it will not be a coincidence.

Nice Hotel with a good Restaurant. The rooms are simply, but comfortably furnished. Our room had a large bathroom. Unfortunately, did not work in our room the Wi-Fi.

We have spent a night, very good Service, very good kitchen, the Check-in was still around 21.40 possible and even though we could in peace the menu to let off steam. The only disadvantage is the hotel's Parking, there are only 6 pieces in a narrow cul de SAC located, but the nice lady from the reception gave us very many Alternatives proposed. All in all, a nice stay!

We were in the area for a wedding and Hotel Krone was one of the suggestions, It was perfect from the minute we drove up and the staff could not have been any more helpful or polite. I have to agree with other reviewers in saying that it is a good base for exploring. I really enjoyed the breakfasts and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Definitely looking forward to coming back, walking along the river and spending a bit longer than a weekend.

Breakfast should have more vegetarian dishes. OK for a day stay.

The crown Königswinter has a new reign — long live the hospitality! The proven Tradition of Rhenish hotel catering following the expected after hospitality, seekers, travelers with a convincing list. Thereby, it is possible the new management, the original charm gently in a more modern line, to lead and at the same time, the personal touch to cultivate. Summarized was my room squeaky clean, the staff fresh + welcome and the feel-good factor on exactly the right wavelength. The equipment of the room watched from the Secretary to the towel warmer is perfect. For the culinary interested travelers was still in the house attached Restaurant 'Petit Lion mentioned, in which Germany's youngest Michelin star chef in the whole of the proverbial crown on. I'll be back. Good luck, crown Königswinter.
