Hotel

The hotel is located on the edge of the small old town, right on the main street. We booked a night at we at the beginning of November. I can well understand that a hotel does not heat all rooms normally, but if guests have booked long in advance, then the heating could at least be a little on at this time of year. The room and bathroom was freezing cold. What didn't really change in the one hour we got to party. The room was ok, but the hotel is a bit old. Something else is really beautiful. There are a few free parking spaces and also free Wi-Fi. We didn't have breakfast.

Nice hotel in A. No air condition such was very disappointing. Apart from that, everything was ok.

We stayed as a small family (one year old baby) in the hotel for a weekend, with extra cot in the room.
Entrance area is very impressive and makes a "clean" impression.
Our suite is a bit old in design and furnishings, but everything is clean and well maintained.
What is special to be mentioned is the staff! Incredibly friendly and accommodating, from reception, to the service at breakfast, to dinner! At breakfast again extra cocoa offered for our child, at dinner an extra small portion of noodles.
You can see that they are specialist staff and that they are fully committed to the hotel.

P. S. The food (breakfast and especially dinner) are at a very high level and their money is absolutely worth it!

Stayed four nights in a 1 room. More semblance than his. For 100 euros per night and 4 star hotel I would have expected something different as a business traveller. First, a smoothly functioning electrical system. If you use a socket, do not switch off the lamp. In general, the electrical system is from the 1970s. Outlets are only loosened with extension cables. WLAN could be more stable. It could be cleaned better (for example, window banks). On departure there would be a demand, whether the stay has a favour, arrive well. What was very annoying is the noise from the street. The Windows barely tight. Staff very friendly. The city of Schwelm is worth seeing. Value for money does not fit in my view so.

Very friendly staff. Restaurant serves very good food. Breakfast is a little overpriced for what you can eat but was always good. 4th floor was where I stayed. Water takes a little bit of time to get hot. Watch standing up on the window side of beds on the 4th floor. Hit my head twice on the ceiling.

I personally expected more from this 4 stars hotel. Room was a bit small, plugs in uncomfortable places, water from the tap is not transparent, 3 layers of curtains and yet I woke up at 5am because there was light in the room, toiletries were nothing special. On the other side it’s a nice hotel with good staff and breakfast was good.

We stayed here recently for a family visit. On the positive side, the hotel is located close to the Autobahn, and in the center of Schwelm. The room was spacious and quiet at night. Not so positive was that the internet didn’t work — something unacceptable at this price anywhere but particularly in Schwelm. When complaining, we were told to try to sit in the lobby. This is bad enough, but the internet didn’t work there either. Other, smaller, complaints are that the toilet didn’t stop flushing at times, that towels weren’t changed unless thrown on the floor, and that the breakfast buffet was poorly stocked and infrequently replenished, all for Euro 12.50 per person. At an average of Euro 100 per night, this place is considerably overpriced. We had the impression of pretentiousness or, worse, of a hotel in decline or waiting to be sold.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff especially when checking out! Very before comment! The kitchen is awesome! And totally central!

The attached restaurant is overpriced with little choice. Hotel staff must help in the service. The rooms are clean but dark. And the fact that the given room key remained unattended on the reception counter for 2 evenings is an unding. On the day of departure, a taxi was ordered by the "concierge, " which did not come. The attempts to ask failed due to the non-availability of the "concierge. " We then had to walk to the station …

Nice rooms well cleaned and very friendly staff. The room design might be considered old fashioned.

The hotel was relatively nice with helpful staff. The food was delicious although variety may be welcome. And also the additional of lighter meals like sandwiches and gourmet burgers. The rooms were comfortable if not compact. Bed was comfortable, shower with good pressure and hot water. Should consider placing an electric kettle for guests who would like to make a quick coffee or tea. One small minus though — first hotel for me to stay that did not provide complimentary bottles of water but had to instead buy it from the room mini-bar.

Great service and hospitality. And the restaurant is one of my favorites.

We were for the first time for the meeting and on this place. We were excited, great location, nice people, lovingly crafted campsite! We definitely come again.

We are old camper and met on many places. But this is camping and mobile home something special and we can well understand that the owner "family Christmas" was able to purchase many high awards this. Recently we have set up a Tobs mobile home as 1st residence. We can highly recommend this beautiful place. Rita and Heinz-Otto Schlünsen.

Like every year, we always remain is still a few days to recuperate on auto camp at the mill pond to us so e. The reception was as always very friendly and what has really liked us herbal ERG species the new where very already have installed. There is always something am curious about what is new again at the next.

Very nice and especially family campsite. There can you feel at easy only! Place very nice, neat and much nature; Restaurant perfectly. Sanitary facilities, old but clean; Customer service 1+++. For us, the place has *.

We made a few relaxing camping holiday "at the mill pond". A very nice and good course. The most we liked the family atmosphere. You put up from the first day, such as "To the guest with friends". An impression we will not soon forget and also do not want. We will visit this place definitely again in the near future. Our impression: * 5 stars for this place.

A beautiful meeting. The CP operator, has spared no effort to make our meeting a success. The system is well maintained and is suitable from there hiking and bicycle tours to take.

Very clean place friendly also the sanitary facilities has come somewhat in the years it was always clean. Staff very friendly and very trying. Can you recommend without reservations.

A 4 star Hotel I would expect much more, from 22 o'clock, you can see where and what to eat is bitter and the rooms well, the were, perhaps, 10 years to up-To-date.

We spent 3 lovely days as a family with a baby extremely. The site owner Mr (*) is trying very hard, being perfectly happy and satisfied. The campsite offers a very large playground, which is however not very updated, but has not reduced the fun of our daughter. Restaurant and beer garden existed, but we were not there, because we have better grilled on our Caravan. Offers for the after-dinner walk is a circular walk around the camping site, which also passes over the mill pond. The toilet and shower rooms were not the most advanced, yet clean and well maintained. For the morning breakfast a bakery car reverses each morning, to ensure the physical well-being. There no wide routes due to the manageable size of the campsite not for water, to the toilet, to the info or other, which is of course class! Was a great time, thank you.

We were a total of 6 adults and 6 kids and got wonderful, great seats next to each other. The children could keep a water battle without disturbing other guests. The playground is great, also the suitable running around. The host is very friendly. The food in the restaurant is good and cooking and operation very quickly. Buy ice cream for 10 persons costs nerves but apparently, and the swimming pond was early June is not the swimming. The Sanitair is good but prima and the showers. We find the place highly recommended and would even come back.

Our first stay was certainly not the last, there was something at any point to find fault. The reception was friendly and competent, clear presentation of the various possibilities and pitches. Very nice terassenartige slope places with trees, very well maintained. And when we asked whether a "late check out" is possible on Sunday: "absolutely no problem. There are the little things that make up the leadership. We wanted evening two non-alcoholic wheat and that for example on the square. We saw even the glasses because from cups, it tastes so good. The campsite is nestled in a small Valley surrounded by forests. The peace offers the best conditions for spending a relaxing holiday here. We would like to highlight also the excellent cuisine in the restaurant including the friendly service. Super Heri, keep it! Beautiful scenery, the place is always clean and well kept. It is the right place for the children to the Frolic and play.

Toller place, great location and nice host. The ambience is just right. For the children, much is made but also the 'old' here determined not be neglected. We had the luck a day there holiday making, where an event took place. The whole thing was for the benefit of children with cancer, and it was really well done. Unfortunately the weather was not quite but despite everything, we had a wonderful day. I can this place only recommend.
