Great place. TV in the family room a little too small.

It woud be more pleasant if the staff could learn to smile a bit more.

Central, good value for money and very nice staff.

I stayed for the first time with my partner last October in an a&o, we were totally enthusiastic despite covid 19, the staff despite the many extra work totally super friendly, The best price performance ratio. Everything top clean, gay friendly, the prices at the bar really still cheap, what more could you want. I can only recommend.

We were from 10.6.19 to 12.6.19 in the a&o hostel in Dortmund at the main station and were more than horrified by the condition of the room.

Friendly and helpful staff. Got to meet some great people. Only downside, some weird chick was singing and laughing maniacally in the middle of the night from another room. Would stay again.

I live in this hotel for 8 days, and compared to other hotels, they are much cheaper. Receptionists are helpful and can speak English. I live in a 6-people room, and so far, the room is good for me; spacious and clean. Toiletries are provided by the hotel too. My only complaint is that the hot water only works when the water flows in a small amount.

I stay in a 8 bed girls dormitory. The place itself is reasonably priced. For the price, the room is not bad at all. It was more than I expected. Necessities are well provided. The room have a good amount of space and is mostly clean, though some parts have dust. They have lots of sockets too. The only improvement that could be made is the bed. The bed itself is made of metal and a bit old. Any tiny movements produced a metal creek sound and makes it hard to turn body sides. The receptionists are mostly friendly and nice. They are helpful.

Nice hotel and hostel near the main station of Dortmund. Rooms are very clean and equipped with TV and hairdryer. Breakfast available for an additional fee. Stuff very helpful!

A good place to stay and stay overnight.

Excellent location, you get anywhere walking. The Long distance train and bus terminal is a few meters away, this is strategic for those who wish to travel and pass through Dortmund. The facilities in very good condition and the attention of the staff is excellent.

So far, I have only been there to different seminars and meetings. But the staff is friendly and the sanitary facilities clean, that's been important to me for the short stays. Overnight I wasn't there yet, but can imagine it.

Mattress was very put through. The hallways were very noisy. It was quite clean. Breakfast was good. The situation is very good.

The proximity to the city centre is really good. The price is also very reasonable but you can't expect much of it. From 4 beds were only 2 related and the cleanliness can also be improved. Breakfast must be booked separately. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Conveniently located next to the train station and very friendly staff. The rooms are spotless and not too small. They're is a very nice common area, where you can enjoy a drink or play pool. I'm also a big fan of the inner courtyard. There is a (separately charged) breakfast buffet until 10 am which is quite nice. You have a selection of fruits, meats, cereals and tea / coffee. Overall definitely recommended; especially if you're travelling on a budget.

I would recommend the hotel to anyone seeking peace and relaxation. The lobby is similar to a pub. In the evening the TV runs and the staff is busy with television and telephone calls. You get the feeling conveyed unimportantly. The rooms are more like a youth hostel or barracks. Double bunk beds made of metal. Cupboards are like lockers but lock should be made to close. It is very noisy at night. Beds are to be included on arrival in double bunk beds. The star is for dinner. That went. Everything you need. But again like Youth hostel all the bit unloved. You have to wipe the tables yourself. But there's a bucket of cold water. On the whole, way too expensive. Price performance is not right. If you want something then write on a note and give it to the reception. Staff would rather have to phone with the phone unfortunately had no time. But reading seems to work. So if it would be better to avoid the finger away from the hotel. Parking spaces There is no one has to look for a parking garage. Costs up to €15 for 24 hours So do not take so much luggage with you otherwise you have to haul.

Definitely the best hostel to go to in terms of price and cleanliness, it is super cheap with super cheap breakfast and so clean.

Super nice Servickraft. Einefache Room, but I think it could have been a bit more sour. Just like that, my bed linen smelled a little uncomfortable. But for the price it was full Inordung. Top Lounch. :)

The hotel with the charm of a youth hostel is centrally located at Central Station/city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal for a short visit, who just likes it.

If you like accommodation in the style of a hostel, the hotel is the right place for you. But if you want to feel at home in the evening, you should look for a different hotel. The breakfast buffet is bad.

We (party of the humanists NRW) held our party congress here on the 4th 2. The meeting room was clean, bright, and very well equipped. Only drawbacks are the toilets accessible via stairs and cellar aisles. The location is very central and easy to reach by car or train. A special compliment to the staff who was extremely friendly and helpful. We will be happy to return.

We need a rule for sleeping This poor sharing room is full of people and the bathroom is so small. You never fell asleep before 1am becuz you need to wait until other guests come to room at midnight and its really annoying and noisy. I would never recommend this hotel to someone.

I like Dortmund. Everywhere there are churches, beautiful houses, a review from the tower and so on. I liked the hostel with a relatively affordable price. Good transport and train station. Going here arm an umbrella, often rains.

Unfortunately, our room was right facing the street and you heard every noise that was a great pity. Price, though, is perfect for that.

We booked a two-bed room without breakfast and were satisfied with the equipment. The — and check-out was very simple and the staff is very loose and friendly. The room was unfortunately only superficially clean and the equipment in the bathroom was not completely healthy. Despite these minor shortcomings, we had a nice stay.

Friendly welcome, good price and has 24/7 open bistro, located right next to the city center. The walls may have discoloration in some places, but the hotel is ideal for partying.

Friendly staff breakfast ok right clean lobby right appealing, unlike the rooms and the hallways, rather reminiscent of canteen or barracks. But bathrooms are ok partial until after midnight noise from other roommates. Lations-not very welcoming, and of holiday feeling no trace.

We keep coming here … And that will remain the case … I love ao hostels … Highly recommended …

We came for an overnight stay and to travel to the football. Hostel check in was extremely quick, the guy on reception was very helpful. Room was comfy enough and most importantly it was clean. Did exactly what was needed and what was advertised. Would happily recommend to others.

Given the price, you can't expect much, but cleanliness should be feasible. A sticky floor is far from beautiful and even painter's repp of the last coat of paint, which seems to be going back and a long time ago, does not demonstrate a commendable sense of order. Breakfast was okay, the choice could be bigger.

IT had great rooms with lot's of space and Nice clean beds. The breakfast was good en diverse. Location was in the center. Nice and polite service! I would defenitely recommend.

Not bad, had the feeling they were housing over flow immigrants as the only 2 languages I heard were German (from the staff) and Arabic (from the "guests"). Good location, room was tiny but OK.

It's a great place to know Dortmund.
The breakfast was very good. Dortmund is a city where we need to stay for a day or two, so a cool hotel wouldn't recommend filming. The room was very clean, clean and comfortable.

Don't let Allah stay at night, or you'll find a hostel near the train station.

Within walking distance of the train station and concert hall, I was able to convince myself of the location. Also the staff was very friendly, quick and helpful. A little confusing in the run-up to the event was the multiple contradictory details about towel — and bed linen surcharges on the booking platform Booking dot com. But the hostel staff had responded to me really quickly; so I don't take anything away for it. Normally I have had in other hostels for 32, 12 EUR Four — Five Bed Rooms (here a mixed room of six was booked) or with six beds a not quite so barren furnishings. I would still like to award 4 stars in total, as I got a woman ' or family dormitory (instead of mixed) by remaining the only person and fortunately not having to sleep in the usual bunk bed, as 2 normal beds were available. Toilet and shower were small but sufficient and belonging to the room. I did not book breakfast for my stay. The noise nuisances across the backyard were all really annoying, as I assume other guests do not seem to know the consideration. Your cleaning staff has also A visible empty beverage can overlooked by the pre-residents, where I wonder how, with normal room clearing, which hopefully took place, it could be overlooked. I would still book with you again. :)

We had already reserved in November for the 19.05.2017 multiple rooms (3 rooms with 2 double + 1x 4 bed booked in my name + another extra booking via my Email address but a different name! ). The most recent booking for my girlfriend but was changed in between times, because they wanted to extend their stay (i. E. From 18.05. — 21.05. ). You emphasized on the phone that the other booking of the 3 rooms will remain as posted! Am 15.05. Add to that I confirmed my reservation again through the specified Link and booked Breakfast. Printed out the confirmation yet. We traveled as posted on 19.05. To put the confirmation of the booking and got the room card handed out, but wait… there's a room missing! This is equal to a complaint, then the second lady came on at the reservation and said that our booking was cancelled in THEIR SYSTEM. I denied this and said that I had confirmed 2 days ago extra. No can't be possible, I would have cancelled and that I should me with my girlfriend (the extra booking! ) thank you, that we would have room! Um, this is a sentence I found very questionable, since neither we nor my friend had anything cancelled special the staff made a mistake. The day before, my friend inquired at the front Desk and they told her that our room had been cancelled and there the error on the part of AO Hostels was recognised that the fault lay with them.

They have a good breakfast, but it could be cheaper. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.

Very clean and friendly. Cheap and cheerful. Breakfast 1st class. Would visit again but not with my wife as she prefers more space to relax in and move around in the room. Bathroom very small but manageable.

Great place to stay in Dortmund. Right in the middle of Dortmund. Friendly personnel. Bar is opened 24/7! For a hostel it is quiet expensive though. Also you have to pay an additional fee (3, 5€ pp) for renting bed sheets (we were not made aware of that upfront).

It's a terrible neighborhood. The rooms are cold. In the toilet, the legs upirajutsja into the wall. All only 70 euros. No more stars on the floor. The children had to be asked for bed. 20 Euros is not a 56 for sure. No breakfast.

A room in A&O near the Dortmund Hbf. The rooms were clean. Hygiene items such as towels were available. This went on for a check out with the very friendly staff without any problems. Breakfast ok, Salami, sausage, cheese, eggs and cereal were available. The only negative was that our room was to the street and to the night people and vehicles. But for one night we could live with that. Conclusion, everything fit, the next weekend trip.

Not the lap of luxury, but a very good cheap hotel to use as a base to explore Dortmund. Lobby bar is comfortable and reasonably priced.

Had a very pleasant stay in a lady's dorm, amenities were great (en suite bathroom & toilet, place to hang your coat, mirror, in room lockers, etc). I could have used a more convenient power outlet to charge my phone, but that's how far I can go with constructive feedback. It was basically a hotel room with dorm beds. Location is superb, especially if you are headed to the airport shuttle or the station. All you can eat breakfast was well stocked, 7 euro is a very fair price. The staff were also very nice, organisation was perfect, they really have all the basics (bar, snacks, toiletries, post cards) covered at the reception.

It was a very nice Hotel. It's near the train Station, so it's very in the town centre. The is some parking space at the train Station. The rooms are like on the pictures and the people there were all nice. Loved it there.

Staff rude and indifferent. During the "Happy Hour", the unqualified bartender learns us that he has more soda to No 2 requested cocktails. By choosing 2 more drinks, the bartender follows the steps of his recipe, and we repeated the same shot. Result: cocktails is made up of 100% alcohol. Add to that a drop of water to dispel all. Icing on the cake, when the payment, he asks us the full price. It teaches him that Happy Hour is enforcement, and he's trying to get us telling us it's been 5 minutes that time has passed. However, our request is made 15 minutes before… But as this Mister took his time, did put other customers before we, necessarily time has passed! Then he don't get in money to make and try once again to make us pay the full price, not understanding the concept of Happy Hour definitely…
For the rest, the price is decent for the not too deplorable service.

We had a double room with bath for 2 nights. On the whole, everything was ok. The room was relatively clean, the mattresses were not good however. We have not slept because the mattresses, for hygienic reasons, in plastic were wrapped and it was thus very uncomfortable place to lie. At night it was quite noisy in the courtyard and I assume any machine, it was a great ventilation system, has made noise at night properly. The breakfast was ok for the price completely. For a 2-to 3-day city trip it is not ok for more also.

I want something better for the price of €80. No telephone in the room, remote control for the TV is lost and then over a
Loft bed on the wall the size of ca 17-20 inches. Well we had yes no remote control so we needed anything look.

The hostel from the price itself is performance point of view quite all right. Unfortunately the cheapest model was used but the beds or mattresses, but on which I have ever been. Unfortunately I had to spend three nights on it. The first was very unpleasant, after the second, I had gotten very severe back pain and after the third I could hardly stand up.
Unfortunately, it was my room directly to the elevator. This has the very kitschy function that each action is announced by a computer voice. Door closing, door opens Xter stock, down, up. That was really very annoyed after some time.

Rooms ok. Very nice service. Point deduction because there was drinks at the bar after 23: 00 by unterbesetzung no cocktails.

For a night in the ladies room. Was everything super. Very clean and quiet to the back yard out. Wi-Fi worked great. In the area, separate shower and separate toilet. Only no lock to complete my things for the room had and thought to get something there. Had however not asked at the front desk. But came away there nothing between us girls. Receptionists were very kind and helpful.

Gets its job done extremely well! Take the U to Westphalenpark! :) Bahnhof nearby has good food. Airport bus leaves from there too. Big Stalinist Ruhr City, all screaming DVB (Borussia = Prussia! ;) ).

I had a reservation at this until from February 17 to 23. I confirmed at the reception that the check-out was on February 23. However, when I entered in my room, on February 22 at 15h45, my private belongings were replaced by those of another person. Someone packed all my things (clothes, toilet products, books, etc. ) in a garbage bag that was stored in a luggage room. This unacceptable and outrageous situation was clearly an invasion of my privacy. I do not recommend this hotel.
