➜ The Hotel Mönter-Meyer is actually very nice, but at the end of the day it is over with the charm. Thirty years ago, the furniture was certainly state-of-the-art, today it only looks worn out. While it is still limited in the breakfast room, it looks really miserable in our room (40).
That wouldn't have bothered us, because we were only in the room to sleep anyway and spent the evening at a party, but the dirt did. Even on surfaces that are fully in view, thick layers of dust, cobwebs were found everywhere, in the bathroom even with spider. The mattresses were quite soft, probably not replaced for a long time. When I told the older gentleman really kindly during the check-out that we would not have been so satisfied, he asked why (without looking up). I answered the question and he just said, "I'm going to pass it on. " Again without looking up.
Breakfast was acceptable. But also in these rooms hanging cobwebs everywhere. Feel-good factor in the house Mönter-Meyer equals zero. I'm really sorry, but this hotel is really not recommended!

Unfortunately they were fully booked this weekend, all eligible Hotels. So we came to the Hotel Mönter-Meyer. 70s style; since then, nothing changed or replaced. Easy-to-use, Breakfast buffet okay. Interesting one-off experience Like you can be awarded 4 or 5 stars is a mystery to me.
