We spent an overnight stay there during the bike tour. Highly recommended. Clean and all very friendly. Breakfast was also great.

Yesterday we had five meals, many tables occupied and quickly had the food.
this was perfect to the point, whether the pork medallions or the schnitzel with mega tasty panade … a palate
we will definitely come back
and something was also offered for the eye, because the entire restaurant runs through railway tracks
Class!

Super food, we had the Wildburger. A highlight of the extra class. The staff is also top.

Lovely hotel great staff one of the best clean food great well worth the stay.

Beautiful building. Old train station where trains still pass by. Both continuous and stopping trains. It is a lot of noise and bulges in the building.

We stayed a total of 5 nights guests in the hotel and felt very comfortable. The rooms are homely and clean. The hotel and restaurant staff is friendly. The boss is absolutely attentive and very friendly. She has prepared the breakfast buffet every morning and has responded super to individual needs. Breakfast offers everything you like to eat. We as vegetarians were also more than satisfied. Fresh fruit, various rolls, fresh sausages and cheeses, homemade jams, juices and much more.

In front of the hotel there is a kind of green area/park that invites you to go for a walk. Since we had our dog with us, it was great. The staff was generally very dog-friendly.

All in all a pleasant stay. Hörstel itself is also an idyllic place that we liked very much. Aldi, Lidl and co. Are within 1-2 min walking distance.

The hotel was once an old train station and was converted into a hotel with a restaurant and beer garden. For rail fans, it is a clear recommendation. The room was very clean and tidy. The décor was modern and beautiful. I had the room (13) at the top, almost in the "tower" of the station. It had a total of 3 beds (1 double — 2 single beds). Of these, 2 were in a separate room. There was free Wi-Fi with a good reception in the room. The breakfast was great, a wide selection and everything very tasty. The hotel is located directly on a railway line, i. E. Trains pass close to the hotel. I was not bothered by this. I would visit the hotel again at any time.

The hotel is great built, but with small minus points. Located directly station, which is still in operation, beds are very soft, but for that the food is a massive, plentiful and super tasty and the price is also right. A beer garden at the house with nice flair.

Beautiful hotel, with its own restaurant, right next to the train station. After a night, you didn't notice the trains. Only sorting the bottles in the warehouse in the evening at 11 o 'clock was slightly disturbing.

Delicious Franconian cuisine in a cosy atmosphere. Nice beer garden and friendly, attentive and fast service. In any case, the sausages from a regional origin are recommended. Extensive wine list and delicious Franconian (bottle) beer. I always like to drive.

The reception was so rude, I would have gone if no friends had reserved the table.
Also was the waitressing by the young girls, anything but good.
The food was good and recommended.

Genuine authentic Franconian cuisine. Just great. There is cooking with love.
There is a lot on the map that absolutely needs to be tried ;-). In addition, there is still a great lunch menu.
The small vaulted cellar is clocky and offers a great ambience.

With the nine owners was out well a very good.
Much has been modernized, the menu has been upgraded to a positive überabeitet and a lot of technical update.
I'd love to come back.

Xtra-ambiance in the dining room (track under glass floor), eating hearty and sumptuous portions. Service not particularly hospitable.

Very nice reception, nice room and great food in the evening. The breakfast was also very good and the service was very attentive and friendly. Surprisingly, the trains are barely heard in the room.

Interesting experience: to feel yourself as a homeless under the bridge when the train runs over you head at midnight :-) for €100 only.

Lovely comfortable hotel which takes dogs so perfect for us. Just a pity that the restaurant is not open at the moment.

I was track in Hörstel from 31.07 to 02.08.2015 at Xtra hotel and were very pleasantly surprised
about the cleanliness and new furnishings of the hotel. I haven't heard of the trains.
The food was also very good in the evening from the card. I would to at any time in this
Collect hotel and eat there too.
The price-performance ratio is very good.

The Gastrobereich is pleasant, even in the basement makes excellent food, the prices are the same as for the hotel, appropriately as I find not so expensive, if you are looking for a retreat in need of beautiful woods, meadows and farmland, surrounded, will be happy here.
