Nice hotel near the train station and serve two bottles of water also. There is a lift available on the hotel. Nice simple fresh breakfast with not too lavish menu though.

Very spontaneously spent a night at this hotel as it is very conveniently located.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, I was provided with the essentials that I did not have, what I found really great and also other requests were met without hesitation, if possible.
A big thank you again for that.
The room was modern and clean, Wi-Fi unfortunately did not work, but for one night this did not bother me.
The bed was a bit too hard for my taste, otherwise everything was good.
The breakfast offers a very nice and quite large selection, there is something for everyone. There are even fresh waffles and you can get soy milk on request. Also the breakfast lady is very friendly and fills everything quickly.
I can recommend this hotel.

For professional reasons, I booked a room from 04.04.18 to 06.04.18.
However, due to planning changes, I had to leave on 05.04.18 in the morning. At check-in, which took place on 04.04.18 Before 18:00 p. M. I also said this and it was noted.
The next morning I was billed 52, 00, — € cancellation. The receptionist handed me the bill in silence and did not provide any justification after comment.
The location of the hotel is also not ideal.
There can be no mention of a "quiet street" and the station district in Hagen is rather scary.
A star there is nevertheless for the good breakfast and the friendly lady working there.

A very good breakfast with good offer. Station and close. Nice bed, bathroom was OK. Wi-Fi was not working for me.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast rich and fresh. Rooms are OK, modern furnishings and cleanliness is right. Fast Internet allows trouble-free operation. My stay is now 5 months and I am very happy.

Staff under the smoking room was smoked by me.

Very old fashioned. Cold room, heating was turned off. Directly in Hagen's inner city. Very noisy. You can basically hear the people on the street talking if you are on first floor. Breakfast room on 5th floor, only accessible by stairs since elevator only goes to 4th. Overall ok but too expensive IMO.

I had a standard room ud was very satisfied. Clean — great bathroom and a cozy bed. The hotel is centrally located in the proximity of the bhfs and to the city centre, so that everything in just a few minutes walking distance. Breakfast was diverse and all very fresh — bread, rolls, eggs, waffles, as well as cheese, spreads, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal were provided in various versions. A special praise to the nice team. Here hospitality is still capitalized!

The "German House" is ideal if you're without a car, would like to take a trip to the Sauerland and the Ruhr area that is looking for a "base". It is conveniently located close to the main train station, for the immediate needs of snacks and beverages is provided through a variety of snack shops and kiosks.
The staff was very helpful during my visit and cooperatively, also the exchange of the room in a higher quality was possible in hindsight. And here is also the criticism so I can give no full score: the standard rooms face the street, and this is quite noisy around the clock. If you get one of the rooms at the rear of the corridors, the neon sign of the hotel seems into it also so that it will be as bright as day and night. Taking to the dark curtains, then you have a bright window surround that is reminiscent of permanently glowing fluorescent tubes.
The comfort rooms on the other side do not have these problems, therefore, the over-expenditure for more sleeping comfort is worth.
Who is particularly geräuschempfindlich, should make sure also to get a room on the rear wall to the side of the building, because obviously there are any devices which enable this wall vibrations, so that you can hear a loud hum. In the room I had first (No. 16) tea — not even half the bed vibrated with? Affiliated received comfort room (No. 46) the humming noise (also on the rear wall) also was much quieter, so that I could sleep in.

I was served at the reception very unkind and disrespectful. The blonde guy at the reception spoke to me as if I were his shoeshine boy. Later, my friend wanted to pick me and I was short on room, knocked out immediately an unfriendly voice at the door and said I must now pay double just because a person for 5 minutes was in my room.
Then I am immediately down and wanted to go but stay I had to still pay the €95 for a total of 1 hour.
I am then in the hotel art surroundings which close themselves in the is and there everything was ok.
