Not a single star this place deserves! It was an INSULT. The room was not cleaned since months, let alone the beds, one of which I don't want to start in the first place… The next day, I got bugs/flea bites on the body was found, which itch like hell! Actually, we should get our money back! You thought it can't get worse, but after the visit to the communal toilets/bath was nothing more, then prefer not to take a shower first! The health Department should stop by here once… ;-)

One word is enough to describe this "hotel" — disaster! And for this price an absolute cheekiness. No bathrooms and showers in the rooms, cleanliness out of place, the common areas with bathtub and toilet absolute NoGo. A day later, bug bites on our skin were detected by the beds. Take some extra money in hand for a tidy hotel. Even for just one night and no long stay in the rooms, that was really too much.

Warm and friendly welcome (even when we arrived at 2am due to flight delays). Very clean and professional approach to guest care.

Sad! Too bad you can't post Pictures! No Clo in the Room, hole in the wall! Dirty dirty everything! Impossible to see something like this! And then the price for 1 Person and 1 ne Night! NIEEEE WIEDER GEHT DA NOT HIN!

Coming down and dirty, but to stay fair, the loo was clean (but was also the only one).

Cheap for the party night. If you don't have a problem with shared toilets and just want to sleep there, it's super very central.

Very simple. For the price just yet to accept.

Not great, shower is in the room, but you can't use it. They sealed it.

That would have earned minus stars. Absolutely come down, lamp hangs half torn from the wall, no toilet in the room, for that stench. A dirty, leaky shower cubicle somehow nailed into the room, tiny screen on the wall. That was not a 10 of the €70 worth I paid.

We were only there for one night. That was okay, but it wouldn't have been so nice for longer. Unfortunately our heater did not work and it was quite cold. Besides, it was quite noisy all night. The beds are quite comfortable though and the size of the room was good too.

This "Hotell" is a Frachheit and a battle announcement of hygiene and cleanliness!
We had booked the apartment over a decent travel brew as part of a US trip. But what we found here is no more than an insult. Harsh words but true!
A few examples: 1. ) long black hair on the pillow (which also had seen better times), the cover develops already thread mice 2. ) Super The Duschgeel is there, but the hair makes this thing somewhat unapetitlich (see picture) 3. ) The shower was not cleaned, hair in the drain and old soap residues at the shower enclosure. With a little effort you could have left a much better impression here. (See picture)
4. ) The holder for the shower head is loose in the wall and wobbles around.
5. ) The shower curtain is only "Porvisorisch" attached and must not be considered crooked.
6. ) The cooker is very dirty (see picture) 7. ) Because the heating does not work in one room, there is an old electric stove, which does not really seem to inspire confidence.
8. ) The wiring is partly Abendteuerlich, flexible cable is fixed.
9. ) in part, the wallpapers are dissolved, so you can see behind them.
Now to the good points: Miscellaneous.
On the first floor, the hallway to the rooms looks a little better. Could be that the rooms there are also something nice. We are on the third floor and there it is as described above.

Great location A few steps from the station. Clean and comfortable.

As basic as it comes, my bed sheets smelled of stale cigarette smoke, wouldn't recommend but OK for a night if just passing through as I was.

If you are looking for a simple room at a reasonable price right in the centre of Düsseldorf, you are in good hands.

Hôtel at 5 min walk from train station. Rooms with shared toilet shower Cleanliness OK.

Very very very dirty rooms, unfriendly staff, does not go at all we are gone right back,
We prefer to sleep in the garage.
Then are to the Holiday Inn which was just suuuuppppeeerrrr.
But honestly I can't recommend that to anyone.
The stench in the rooms is also the only thing.
And don't let yourself on advance payment one that give nothing anymore.

Good hotel in city center, reasonable price.

DISGUSTING! Room full of insects and they aren't willing to let my friend stay in another room. There's an actual NEST of insects under the bed. How can this be a legal hotel.

I was so surprised when I get in the hotel, the smoke smells in my room was so high that I had to sleep with the window open, also the bathroom is shared, and the hotel structure is very old, I moved to a new hotel even know that I have one more night there.

I got a booking on this Hotel and in the pictures was "very beautiful rooms" When I arrived at the Hotel, they give me the last room from the Hotel with THREE! BEDS! OMG! the room looks like smell like and the bathroom is.

Nice but no private toilet at all.

The location is very good.

My stay at Hotel Komet was pleasant. I stayed for one night and on checking in I was given my key and shown to my room. The room was simple and had shampoo and hand soap. It had a shower, a mirror, a wardrobe with clothes hangers. The hotel provides an ironing service too. Rooms were very warm so needed to keep the window open at night. This can at times be quite noisy as the hotel is in the city. Although there is a shower and a washbasin in the room the toilet is shared between everyone on that floor. On appearance: The main entrance, stairwell and hallways could do with some renovation as these seem pretty run down. The lift is to be frank an experience in its own right. If you are claustrophobic then I'd advise using the stairs. (2nd floor for main reception) The restaurant/canteen area has been fully refurbished and decorated and gives a nice fresh feel in the morning. The staff member on the desk even started making breakfast early for me as I had to leave early. Breakfast is served at 0730. Overall hotel komet is a place to lay your head. Located close to the local U stations and amenities. If you are looking for somewhere polished with all the extras then this is not the place for you. However if you are travelling through and stopping for a couple of days on a budget then it easily meets requirements.

Very run down. The bathroom is in particularly poor condition. Some of the bed frames of the beds are broken and clean it is also. Positive: Wi-Fi and a refrigerator.

My experience was very bad. I was at the 03.08.2016 on a room from a lady robbed. The called the police, said it was a prostitute which pimps her instructions over the phone. She lived there in rooms 27. A complaint has been filed. The police told me that this Hotel is pimp controlled and it is almost exclusively women from the street line is occupied. Finger way …

I didn't even get to the hotel… I am 24.05.2016, as I thought, by telephone, a single room reserved, with private bathroom. I asked the friendly lady on the phone whether there are any more data would be required… you denied this… When I called a day before arrival, once again, I ask wollze if I could still switch to a Smoking room, turned out my room was already booked to someone else because of me keibe advance payment made. Bad Internet. Rooms are thin, you can hear everything from the road and the neighbouring rooms. Cleanliness could be better. Should be renovated in time. Room was not cleaned during the day.

Bed seemed already used to be hair on the pillow, all very easy. Two advantages: very fast Internet and extremely favourable price.

Kindness is not just a top rule. The double room we had was really not at all. For a Hotel room. Not even a private bathroom, only shared bathrooms on each floor, and with men and women mixed. I asked the friendly lady on the phone if any more data would be required…

When I called again one day before arrival because I wanted to find out if I could change to a smoking room, it turned out that my room was already booked to someone else because I made a prepayment.
Up to this point, I knew nothing about hotels.
After that, I was accused of behaving incorrectly and did not see any fault with myself or the employees.
On the other hand, the discussion was led by the alleged management.
Who, in the course of the conversation, constantly did not let me pronounce, was rude and unreasonable. Apparently, it turned out after a long back and forth that your employees are apparently not sufficiently familiar with the rules of a hotel reservation… unfortunately, the existing customer registration system does not record who has accepted the customer…
In the end, there was no response from the woman dr. Who did not even respond to questions asked by me and, on the other hand, still insinuated to me that I was probably someone who was demolishing the facility and not paying.

Very nice cozy hotel.

Hotel «Komet» is a convenient 3-minute walk from the train station and 20 minutes walk from Кенигсаллеи main shopping street, Dusseldorf.
However, the hotel itself is a typical hostel. Toilet and shower shared in the corridor. In the rooms there is only vanity. The room is clean and rare. In the rooms is worth a putrid odor, all the time making the noise of the trumpet. Sheets crumpled with spots.

Breakfast: cereal, milk, tea, coffee, yogurt, Apple jam, butter, bread, eggs.

Lived in other cities of Europe in hotels at low prices (the cost of the room is 30 euros per person per night). There was clean, sheets глаженные and courteous staff. This hotel speak Russian (work mainly former citizens of the USSR), and accordingly there are no European quality and service.
