Sadly no private bathrooms.

Comfortable room, but no tele, bathroom and toilet at the other end of the corridor,
Noise of tramwé, but that did not prevent me from sleeping.
Comfortable bed with a sofa in the room.
On the other hand I arrive around 2pm and I'm staying a good time in front of the door to ring and try to call the owner, impossible to reach him.
It was a passente who probably knew the places that took me to the owner who was next door.
We're asking you to bail for the key.
But its still a pleasant experience.

Has character, everything clean, super nice service, barely heard traffic noise.

For 5 people a cheap overnight stay. Very many stairs, were on the 2nd floor. Had the suite, so for us alone. Own bathroom, own "kitchen" and after a well-celebrated night … Very undemanding! Positive the price! No local person on departure. Tel also only after the 10 attempt reachable for the handing over of the keys and the deposit. Who has no claims quite ok.

Worst hotel of my life … never come back … 8. €9 for early stuck, €1 5 for towel €1. €5 to pay with the card … I booked a room alone … that was a room min 2 beds in a small shared apartment … the receptionist took €20 deposit for the key … the receptionist wanted to know my whole plans Because he wasn't sure he would be at the front desk … MEGA MEGA MEGA bad …

Horrible. I made a reservation equivocándome of date and when I wanted to change it and I had cashed. They didn't give me option or change it or give me the money back. They justified themselves by saying that it is their policy of cancellations. A shame, a pity that there are unscrupulous people of this kind.

Dont't go there! They'll try to steal your money by asking you a 40€ key deposit and then they'll pretend that you broke the door (which was already hard to open when we arrived) so they don't gave you the money back. They even tried to make us sign a letter that certify that we had to pay for the door's reparation. Very noisy neighboorhood with people yelling during the night. The dishes aren't clean in the kitchen, the curtains are useless (you are awake when the sun goes up). We paid 350 euros for 2 nights and they steal us 40€ of deposit. Don't go there if you want to feel safe and have a nice stay!

A high point was every morning, very extensive breakfast and always waking eyes of the staff.
-We really liked being a kettle in the room — so we could make us break even coffee.
-Flat screen TV with excellent picture, light-flooded rooms, clean bed linen + towels, good hair dryer.
-Directly to the s-Bahn Cologne-Ehrenfeld (scene district, theater, disco, music, night life). With the S-Bahn of only two station, to reach the old town (Cologne Cathedral).
-The location is ideal for visits to the LANXESS arena and exhibition connecting public transport at the door, good accessibility at arrival by car
-Due to the good connection we enjoyed carefree Cologne after the delicious breakfast.

We felt very well, and like to come again! Like we had stayed a few nights longer.

= €400 2 nights in a 2 persons too small rooms with shared bathroom and toilet. 2 out of 4 cans of bacon will not work. 3 of 5 drawers are open. The towels were not in the price included. The by far worst Hotel I have ever purchased in my life. I could give 0 stars, that would be my assessment have been.

Very good hostel, close to tram and train station with street view.

It was very nice there, the staff all very friendly and accommodating seemed to me very familiar. The rooms were all clean and tidy and due to the nearby subway and S-Bahn it was also possible to quickly reach every corner of the city.
So if you are looking for a hotel and are not yet sure, I recommend the Kölnotel.

The hostel is located in a traffic-convenient location. Subway to station directly in front of the door and S-Bahn ca. 500 m walk. Even without a reservation for 3 days room got, despite high Ausbuchung. Das staff is very nice and always engaged the guests to fulfill their wishes. The rooms are well equipped and clean. Will come back again!

Great, friendly hostel located in Cologne.
Especially the location I liked, because we drove just 10 minutes by train to the dome.
We definitely come again :)
