Friendly reception, own car parking spaces, good breakfast with great choice, good S-Bahn connection, modern and clean rooms in the historic flair of the guest house… we can feel comfortable and would book it again at any time!

The proximity to the S-Bahn and yet the rooms are quiet.
The breakfast is very varied and very rich.

Almost 5*, if not the welcome and "instruction" on arrival (by a young employee) would have been so unfriendly. Rooms clean, service friendly, breakfast excellent.

Very modern and visually appealing hotel. Wi-Fi code valid for 5 devices. The service is fast and friendly and always there when you need it. Breakfast is very appealing and there are even hsrd and soft-boiled eggs. It's certainly one of the better three-star hotels.
It gets the mental point deduction because of the clairvoyance and the antiquated "real" keys, which unfortunately bulge out today's pockets with chic Uhu pendants.

In the rooms facing the rear, you can already hear an S-Bahn at the nearby train station.

I was only one night in this cozy hotel. But must say that the rooms are great. I felt really comfortable. Breakfast also bomb. Would book it again and again. The room, as well as the bathroom was very clean.

The rooms are clean and large enough. Mattresses are very good. The breakfast is really mega. That's how the day begins perfectly.

The Hotel Owl is owner-managed. Dealing with guests is very personal and friendly. Clean rooms, bright and modern breakfast rooms as well as a large choice of breakfast buffet (fresh fruit, large selection of tea and cereal etc. ) are to be emphasized. Friendly staff and loving details in the rooms round off the very pleasant stay.

The room was very clean, the breakfast was very good and the rooms were very comfortable. However, the reception staff was relatively "mundfaul", not to say "unfriendly". The overall impression was quite disturbing.

Price is high for this region I think. But I dont know the others. The rest is good.

I was in the guest house owl for a night. The lady at the reception was very friendly and explained everything quite quickly. The rooms are very neat and clean. For me, the beds were very comfortable and you can sleep in it very well. The Breakfast was absolutely remarkable. The only point of criticism is the Parking. In the Hotel free Parking is provided, however, a Parking space costs on the Parking lot for 5€ per night and in the underground garage for€ 10. The free Parking in the side streets around the Hotel. Also I have the Wi-Fi reception in my room disturbed something. This was not particularly good, which is why the connection often. Despite these little things, I was with my stay very satisfied. Since one has to do without at least a basic time on the phone and the Laptop.

The Owl Hotel and the guesthouse are very modern and decorated with attention to detail. The staff is very friendly. Even late in the evening, the coffee machine is turned on extra once again. We love the atmosphere at this hotel. The employees seem to have a very good working environment. A stay at this hotel is highly recommended.

Altogether it is a nice place to stay, just note the reception times and the lacking of any room extras, such as a minibar, a kettle, or any amenities.

We have already used the Mediterana arrangement more often and have already recommended this to many friends and acquaintances who were also enthusiastic. Our impression is very positive and we will certainly come back, the next Ausenthalt with the visit to the Cologne Christmas markets is already booked. The connection to the S-Bahn towards Cologne's inner city is optimal. The rooms and the breakfast buffet are exceptionally good and the whole team is always very friendly and helpful.

Due to the great breakfast room and the breakfast, five stars are acceptable even with respect to the value for money. The room was large and cozy. The bathroom could be a little bigger, but all in all it fits.

Great hotel, only 10 mins to the city centre with the S-Bahn which is only a few meters away. The breakfast buffet does not leave any wishes open. The room was very clean and comfortable. All staff very friendly. Parking/underground garage directly at the house. Next time again, as you sleep much more quietly than directly in the city centre.

The Hotel owl is a very nice hotel in Cologne if you don't want the expensive hotels in the city center. The S-Bahn station is 50 m away and can be reached by all the sights very well. We had a side street room which was quite quiet. The service was pleasant, breakfast with great choice, the rooms modern and sufficiently large. Free Wi-Fi completes the picture.

Only short car distance from Köln main city. Rooms are always clean. Staff is friendly.

The room was clean and well kept. Bed was incredibly soft, however there was no disposable razor, no toothbrush/toothpaste. There was Puschel for the feet. The receptionist was very accommodating when we got informed that we would be arriving very late, so there was also a direct solution. In general, you can only recommend the hotel, directly at the train station, however, you don't hear any train, quite central location, as well as nice staff and good breakfast.

Nice, clean, nice but the reception closes too early (and so you have to walk the stairs) and is very decentralized especially on the weekend when the frequency of trains to cologne drops a lot. Better to look for something more central.

Great little place very close to light rail station. Avoid the hassle of the city and stay here. Great breakfast. Parking is a bit extra.

Very nice and clean. It looks quite new and it is close tot the sbahn station. Easy to commute from here to Köln. I would choose it even if I would have to travel a couple of stations more.

Unfortunately I cannot rate my stay, because no one was at the office to let me in, nor answer the phone, after driving 6 hours to get there. I had to find another place to stay at 11:30pm on a Saturday night. They charged me full price anyway the next day, despite my attempts of calling and emailing. If you are traveling long distance and show up in the evening, you might be extremely disappointed like myself.

Excellent value for money, very clean, decor sober but tasteful, some leaks in the shower that can make the bathroom very slippery even with the bath mat, good breakfast, next to the station S-Bahn Dellbrück (but without the noise) but it E St Note that the S11 (direct to go to Köln Messe) is less frequent than other lines therefore look well at the schedules so as not to waiting to the wind on the quay.

Very good value for money The rooms are clean, new and spacious also breakfast is served. Also the Hotel is located a few steps from the train station, from which you can then move in full comfort.

Very nice, modern and clean hotel in a top location in Cologne Delbrück. With the S11 that just 500m away is, drive 20 minutes from the Cologne main station, parking is on the nearby train station parking lot or if you're lucky in one of the side streets also easily possible. Very rich breakfast and great coffee from a WMF professional machine. The rooms are small but very modern and clean bathroom, very quiet and comfortable. Here we certainly come again during our next visit to Cologne.

We booked the hotel UHU wellness voucher for the Mediterana. A great, highly recommended offer.
The rooms were clean and well kept. Staff very friendly, that restaurants in the well, close to transport links there were abundant and in each version.
The breakfast was fantastic! Abundant selection, clean and well maintained environment! All in all we were missing it nothing!

We have booked the UHU hotel for 1 night about a smartbox voucher. Accommodation in double room, breakfast buffet and fruit, water, and Prosecco in the room was included.
On arrival, you should take care to drive because the stop just around the corner is the S-Bahn. The subway stop is 800-900m from the hotel.
Good connection to the city centre. The hotel itself is located just outside.
Check-in was quick and easy.
This room was comfortably furnished. But too many pictures on the walls hung me personally.
The bathroom was clean and modern.
After 21: 00 reception is no longer and you must use the night entrance.
From our room, the railway was only a few meters away, which was not a problem at night when window is closed but.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful and fresh. In addition to various baked goods including rubber, there was fruit, Müsli, eggs & drinks in various designs.
Overall, the stay at the OWL hotel in Cologne was very pleasant and recommended.

Very nice staff. Small Hotel, but everything is there what you need. Ideally, the S-Bahn connection. Parking to be no Problem. 1-A-Breakfast. Inexpensive and refreshing drinks in the Lobby. Nice bathroom: small, but fine. Very good mattresses. The only thing that one does not darken, it returns 1 point deduction.

A friend of ours recommended your hotel, and we found it very quiet and very clean. A good breakfast, and very convenient for the train station just around the corner. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Koln.

It was the first Time that we in this Hotel have stayed. The rooms are very nicely furnished and the bathroom looks great. The Breakfast buffet has a huge selection and tastes awesome. The Hotel is very Centrally located, therefore, are the ways in the next few bars and Restaurants on foot. Only the Parking garage is not for the longer/larger cars (very Closely with many pillars, close Out/entrance). All in all, I will at the next visit in Cologne with security again the UHU check-in and recommend it to anyone.

Were the 2. MaiWE 2014 at Hotel UHU. I had this stay (+ visit to the Mediterana) as a gift from my partner. The Hotel Uhu was a recommendation of a Friend. But in retrospect, we must say that this Tip is absolutely top was and the our stay, the value of this gift is still raised: The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable — just As friendly, customer oriented and customer-oriented, the "Chef" (Hr. Kuhn) — The location of the hotel is only a few minutes ' walk from the S-Bahn station — The Breakfast was very good — The rooms were all very nice and very clean. In short: We were more than impressed and very happy again.

I love the Uhu and its gracious staff. I've returned at least five times so far. Its a boutique hotel without an attitude, quiet, impeccable, stylish, and the S Bahn is 3 minutes out the door — 4 stops to the Köln Messe, one more to CGN or Köln Hbf. They serve a terrific breakfast buffet and good restaurants are very nearby. The Uhu sets the standard we use to rank other small hotels. Staff is fluent in English. Free Wi-Fi and one PC is available. I usually find a curb straddling parking spot nearby.
