Spacious rooms. Clean washrooms. Limited variety of breakfast. Location not conducive for families and kids.

Das Hotel ist ganz in Ordnung. Es hat in unserem Zimmer ein wenig gestunken und es sind leider nicht als zu viele Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Aber man kann dort in der Tat nächtigen.

Very thorough and friendly service. Breakfast plentiful and tasty (extra wishes, gluten-free food etc are fulfilled) the rooms are clean, but should be subject to a renovation.

The location is central but the neighborhood absolutely unsightly. Instead of a double room we were given a small twin room with single beds. This has not been changed when asked. The entrance area of the hotel looked quite good, but that rooms are outdated and not clean. Lying next to dust saw pumpkin seeds on the floor.

Super nice service. A few bikes also go in. Beds downstairs not limited — super important. Clean, cozy. Central!

Room size are fine. Room amenities are poor, breakfast is a disaster. It's next to a sex movie theatre.

The staff at the hotel is extremly friendly "Andhu from Morocco" and "Akhaya from Turkey" are true examples. It is very near to line no 1 (takes 2 mins by foot) and line no 18 (takes 12 mins). House keeping does a great job. All towels are changed and bathrooms are made sparkling clean. There are some gay clubs near the place but it hardly matters, as if you are not into it then one can force you. I stayed in June 2018 so I got a fan from the reception as well (u can easily get it). The rooms are very quiet at NIGHT. Perfect for couples but a little small with a baby. Internet works perfectly. The hotel is overall great however some suggestions are: I stayed in room no 2 on ground floor … the mattress needs to be changed as the springs of the mattress are soft and u feel quiet drowned in the mattress. A small room fridge should be made available in all rooms. TVs need to be of better quality. (SMART TV) Common kitchen should be made available for guests. Labour staff should be told strictly not to talk outside the rooms uptill 12 in the afternoon. They can disturb the guests sleep as the room windows are open in summers. Good value for money people … dont go for other reviews.

Average hotel. Clean bathrooms, clean rooms. But no minibar in the room. Ours had an HD TV though. Located nicely near the city center and in 30-45 min walk from the main train station. Friendly staff in the reception.

Just to sleep, the hotel is fine. The bathroom was clean, but the room walls had already experienced better times. The "queen-size bed" was already very soft. We did not take breakfast. The location is already pretty good, about 15 minutes walk to the cathedral. Rewe around the corner, kiosk opposite, Heumarkt also just 5 minutes away. Therefore, for people who do not have great demands and only come to the hotel room for the night, because it is already very small, fine.

Friendly hotel in the heart of the old town. Close to the Rhine, quiet in a side street, ideal starting point for activities of all kinds: Shopping, round trips by bus ship, museums such as the Mustard Mill Museum, Chocolate Museum, or a few Cologne brewery tours — only problem — "parking spaces —" but you can also use Train arrivals —

Nice location 12minutes cathedral, close to chocolate musseum. Lovely staff, clean room and buffet breakfast. As point to improve the rooms haven't got air conditioner.

Staff is friendly, but standards are not high here, remote area. Not a family friendly street. What you get is ectremly basic and Wi-Fi is horrific here.

The rooms were OK. The hotel is also centrally located in the city centre. For me, the value for money was good.

Top room has NO Wi-Fi. English Breakfast is a joke. Eat elsewhere is my advise. £10 for coffee. Cold toast. Warn Orange juice and a few tubs of nuts and yogurt. Nice cafe just up the street. I Personally would not stay here again. Plus the lift only goes to the third floor and the stairs are steep and can be slippery. Pay a little more and stay across the street. Plus it's right next to a sex shop. Not nice.

Staff were friendly and the rooms were adequate. The people make it and they were lovely. It's in a good location and easy to get to the main high streets. However, of you're travelling with kids, you may have an interesting conversation with the adult store and cinema either side. It didn't take away from the trip and hotel for us, but I can understand it might put off parents with young kids.

Sufficient for a Partytrip/short stay. However, the hotel could do more with it. The rooms are in an outdated and consumed condition. In particular the condition of the bathroom does not correspond to this hotel category. The location of the hotel is top.

Perfect location as it is just round the corner from the Heumarket Christmas market where there are lots of places to eat and is only a 15-20minute walk away from the train station and the famous cathedral. At this hotel you are within half an hour walk from all the Christmas markets if that is what you are going for. Only complaint would be the mess up with our booking that meant we had 2 single beds instead of one double but was easy enough to sort out. The rooms are fairly small but just the right size for somewhere that you will be sleeping in and keeping your bags. Loved the 11th century decor in this place as it felt really traditional Germany and was very interesting.

The location is great. The room is quite small but good and with a very comfortable bed. Quiet and 10 min walk to the Duomo.

Nice hotel near the Heumarkt price was great.

This 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel and love it. It's comfortable and cheap for our needs we don't mind the breakfast and few mins from the trams.

I was disgusted!
When I entered the hotel I was really friendly but rather incompetent and with really bad German received (I am unfortunately barely speaking to French).
The room itself received me ice cold, musty to stinky, really rocked off in many details and in the bathroom garnished with beautiful mildew stains and small dust layers. The Gerolsteiner gastro-water for 4Euro ("Welcome! ") with broken freshness seal as a welcome greeting — no more funny.
The next day I left the red "don't enter" sign on the door because I really didn't want anyone who is responsible for cleanliness in this hotel to enter my room. Quickly was not there. Which would probably have changed the condition of the room nix. But there was someone else there — someone with paint and brush, who in the bathroom has softened the black spots by overpainting a little. But has a bit of spilled and otherwise my room just left again. I was disgusted again and went to bed. Ugh!
I can summarise that your hotel has surpassed my fears from the present reviews on the net. Bad!
As a management, you cannot be everywhere and personally evaluate every detail, so I hope that you can accept my criticism as such and possibly turn something for the better.
I travel to Munich today and wash away my disgust in the hotel! Currency!

Absolute clean-up. The rooms are dirty, pipes with tape "repaired", mattress located in bed, heating can only be cold or hot, rooms very noisy and the elevator is nothing for people with space anxiety. Do not book with children! Right next to the hotel is a gay Sexkino and opposite a Gaybar before it goes hot at night.

A star is too much. I've never seen anything like this, dirty, noisy bathroom clogged. It kept coming that slight snoring from the other rooms.

Awful. Situated in the middle of two Gay hotspots (sexshops, bars). Rooms smell bad, the area is spooky. Not recommended for women travelling with kids or on their own.

Such a disgusting place and the rooms are really noisy, internet connection in our room was definitely not good, security box didn't work and TV has just two channels! We asked for another room and made us wait for 3 hours in the reception. Definitely not what we spected.

The price was really good and the room was nice even if it wasn't luxurious or big, but it is really good having in mind we had to pay 25 euros per double room. The stuff were really helpful and nice :D.

Staff are great! One's we have come across spoke english. The rooms are basic but its a great location only round the corner from the chocolate museum.

I was with my friend there and we had, in some cases quite a bit of flaws, but for 1 night it was to sleep OK.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment… unless you like cheeses and ham for breakfast. Not enough choice.

Accommodation condition is OK, a little aging but acceptable, traffic is very convenient, for five or six minutes to get to the bus station.

Very well located, it's possible to go by foot to many attractions. The rooms are good and comfortable, but the hotel is a bit noisy. They provide a fast Wi-Fi connection and the service is also well done.

Slept there one night. Room was decent but without air conditioning we didnt sleep so well. Didnt know the building is actually older than. Pretty much any place I've slept in.

The location and the price of the hotel were very good. Hotel looks nice in the entrance area, but then it stops already. The ladies at the front desk make seem as if they had no desire at all to their work and are often times to smoke outside.
Rooms are small, but okay if you want to watch anyway mainly the city. Big drawback is the bathroom: it smells very strictly and hung for example in our case. Also, the bar of shower curtain at half-past eight. The breakfast is sufficient, but Loveless arranged and if you prefer later breakfast, the coffee in a thermos flask on the table is only lukewarm.

Never again. The Hotel is located between two Pornokinos and sex shops. It is loud. Even at night, so that you are not with the window open sleep. But you have to because there is no air conditioning. Everything is very dark with black wood veneer. The double bed is two beds pushed together and apart back at Night. The bathroom is poorly lit and without window. TV is very small, the remote control will not function. Breakfast is very poor. Staff obviously has no desire.

The room was quite cramped, but otherwise okay. I was there in Winter and the bathroom was unheated, so that the entire cold even when the window came in and you especially in the morning, very frozen and hardly under the shower wanted. The Breakfast was varied and the ambience of the authentic medieval style. Elevator is available and the Inmenstadt to reach on foot.

Clean, Central, nice staff, rich Breakfast buffet! A pity that you can only book with a credit card, and that the prices are slightly increased. Otherwise, I can recommend the Hotel.

Good hotel within walking distance from most attractions. Free Wi-Fi and reasonable free breakfast too. Had a bit of a medievil feel to it which was very different.

Neat and very cheap hotel. The Italian Restaurant directly opposite in the no. 18 is the Hammer.
