The hotel is located in a short distance from the city centre and only 100 metres from a bus stop, the CityTour tour of Cologne.
The accessibility by car is good and it is to hold the possibility with the car in front of the hotel, access to the hotel's underground garage is very narrow, the bays a little cramped and the parking fee is € 25, — per day (we perceive as something too expensive).
The lobby was clean and inviting, the reception staff was very friendly and helpful (thank you for the shower hunk, the hit, not only in our children).
The room was good size (the bed beenget the running paths in any way) and gave many Sitzmöglickeiten, the bathroom was built as the furniture of the room sufficiently large and oak from the gel, which had a certain charm, the bathroom had just come in the Yaer and should be updated once. Looking even the carpets in the hallways at the age of the institution, these are already expired on the transitions and the design is also not more so fresh. The gym, however, is very new and equipped with sufficient equipment to my delight with rowing Ergometer.
When choosing a room, you should know where it is, either to the main road (sounds loud, but it's not) or the supposedly quiet backyard Street turned clock but in a party mile from approximately 23 00 and that the window this mood ungefilter to watch in the room drain approx. 05.00 (a Wochenendstag, that was the night it was much better, the impending workday probably inhibited the party mood).
The selection at the breakfast buffet is very varied, fresh and has some special features, w. Z. B. Egg-Benedict and waffles to the bake yourself, again, the staff is very friendly and obliging.
Generally a good hotel that has come a bit in the years but also families with children a pleasant stay allows.
