Unfortunately, I can't recommend the hotel any further. We were told by a hotel employee upon our arrival that we should not receive our voucher for the Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen but pay in cash in the park, and the hotel will pay us the cost of the receipt afterwards. We have also been informed of this in writing by the hotel. After our visit to Serengeti Park, another employee told us very unkindly that her colleague had given us false information and that we should arrange for the refund through our tour operator. This is, in my view, a real outrage, due to an employee's mistake, I now have to take care of the (questionable) refund myself. Service orientation and friendliness definitely looks different, for me it was definitely the last stay at this hotel!

4 star hotel. However, breakfast is a bit sparse. In my opinion, there are also too few staff. Nothing special but it is enough to stay overnight. Had better ones.

Very close to highway and very good breakfast. Nice personels. It has small gym. Sauna, pool, … free parking.

Very family friendly. Many leisure activities nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Eat very well and something for everyone. Come back like to come back.

The rooms were okay, unfortunately very bright and also no refrigerator. Air conditioning was great.
However, there are clearly deductions for the service or the restaurant. In the evening we were sent away because everything was fully booked (we were only 4 people) and we didn't want a buffet, with the comment that the kitchen wouldn't make it. At breakfast then almost the same game, we had to wait until we had a new table.
Maybe you should just employ 2-3 people more in the high season.
We're not coming back.

Very friendly and helpful staff, but not completely self-employed.
Rooms are well, sufficient for short stays, but not suitable for longer stays. Beds squeaked very, very loudly and were very disturbing at night!
For a 4 star hotel, the hotel management should once again discuss its offer and service, as well as the presentation and appearance of their hotel building including their rooms!

The Room was beautiful and modern, everything else is much older. The Swimming Pool and the Rooms around it would probably have to be renovated. However, the Garden was full of Toys, Swing, Mud Table etc. That was totally awesome. I would come again, but only in the Family Room.

The rooms were good, unfortunately without working air conditioning, at 28 degrees and sunny side rather less good. Even for complaints was looked at afterwards, at least it was noted, but unfortunately it still did not go after that. It was not cool.
The food was OK … Breakfast too. The service in the evening was not good. Poppy answers, it took partly 10 min until drinks were there … There wasn't much going on!
It was OK all in all, but unfortunately no more.

We stayed with 6 adults and 4 children at this hotel.
The rooms were clean and according to the price level.
Unfortunately, the service is absolutely poor. When we wanted to eat something in the evening (7pm), we had to wait about 30 minutes until we were even told if this was possible or not.
After the meal, we waited forever for our drinks.
The friendliness of the staff also leaves a lot to be desired.

Very friendly staff. Large and always clean rooms. The choice at breakfast is very wide. Dinner tasted good to us. They were happy to respond to the wishes of our children.

All in all it was good, the co-work especially Mrs. Dietz helped us very well after our car had to be repaired, the breakfast I personally found very good there was everything and also enough the only negative for me was the dust under the beds, with a small child who likes to misuse their toys there. Also maybe you should also renew the slide times, also the Wi-Fi has to get even better in the rooms.

The staff were very nice and the room was very clean and the pool was very good. Right on Serengeti Park. A star suit for breakfast more poultry could have been there. Super nice management So if Serengeti then just have the hotel. For one Night 2 adults a child plus dog 150 euro we find super.

Four days spouses room with half board. The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. All in all we were very satisfied.

Breakfast, very small choice for the price. Even where our group (CA 35 persons) was registered for breakfast.

We have an offer perceived, the price per person was unbeatable. Without the offer I would have found it a little overpriced. The Service was very courteous, the Breakfast selection was mediocre, but dinner is perfectly fine. Our room was clean, the TV is a bit small, but the view was to the rear, very nice. All in all recommended, depending on the price.

Great room. Very clean. Very nice staff. However, the food could have been better.

This hotel has by no means earned 4 stars! Price/Performance doesn't match up at all. We are more than disappointed with this hotel! For 128, — €night for half board, we clearly expected more. The front desk staff was also very unkind and inflexible! Even the rooms were really grotty, with the plastic bathroom! So we will never visit this hotel again and will not recommend it!

The hotel is not bad, but it is not handicapped accessible. The shower entrance is so tight that you can stay stuck. Spark is at the shower. Otherwise the rooms are clean. The staff is very nice, but we felt that you were not taken seriously. Too bad, fat people can't take a shower because you get into the shower very badly or get out again.

Food is edible but very expensive and very unspectacular… I ordered a 300g lumberjack steak and got a 180g piece of meat with slightly fried onions. Wireless Internet is not available and my room is full Staubweden… Staff is polite but not necessarily nice… not a good day on entering the hotel and so on…
The hotel is ok but definitely not a must. Plus near Serengetipark.

Rooms are generally ok, clean and modern. Dinner is in buffet form and is good! Breakfast is terrible. The service is so poor that people clear their own tables to find a spot and bread does not always feel very fresh.

Prices for these old rooms is quite high. For business reasons I travel a lot and can claim to have stayed in far better hotels, which were also cheaper. Here are the facts: room too old, staff could be friendlier (is most likely at the management, got a conversation that was clearly not meant for my ears), kitchen separately rated would get 4 out of 5 stars. On the whole not bad for fitters and business travellers for one night. The hotel seems to have specialized in running clientele in the form of seniors who arrive in buses and have no choice.

Dated interior. Quiet area, still close to motorway. Good breakfast and service.

We were very disappointed where we saw our room. Should be a double room. But was only 2 single beds put together. Only 1 desk with a chair. Then the bathroom was just a towel holder and a toothbrush cup. Have then put a glass to it as a toothbrush cup. And then what was the worst was the cleanliness… Everywhere cobwebs and spiders throughout the hotel. And then the last night… suddenly a spider crawled on my arm. Disgusting. Then in the bathroom the cosmetic mirrors were still the fingerprints of the previous guests to be seen. So my husband and I would never go on holiday there again.
Oh and the joke of the day was the pool. On the Internet St you can see a photo of the alleged pool. Just unfortunately wasn't that. Was more of a children's paddling pool… With just 3 loungers on the edge.
The food was very good.

The location of the hotel is quite good, but I would recommend getting out of town sometimes to try the cool things like the "Vogel park walsruhe" which I can defienently recommend, or you can rent a bike at the hotel and cycle to some of the small towns nearby. The hotel it self really was just a nice place to be with nice staff members and a lot of things to do in the spare time. The only thing I can point out would be the pool which really was quite a dissapointment. It was the size of our bathroom, and the water was a bit cold I think. The food was amazing both breakfast, and dinner.

Great Hotel Nice staff delicious food and all this at a good price… What more could you want!?
PS Please think of the following… Half board is also available during the season buffet… I find not bad only unfortunately, the tour operators do not get to note the series that…

Great surrounding, friendly to guests, could be better prepared for business meetings.

We stayed two nights and felt very comfortable. Room was tidy and clean and looked new. Only in the restaurant should a few Aufgerubbelte seat covers be renewed as this does not look so beautiful:)
Breakfast was delicious and something for everyone.
