Quiet house in the style of a villa. Beautiful and well-kept rooms with everything you need… You're on the road most of the time. Rich breakfast with treats such as prosecco muesli and salmon. The direct location on the water tempts you to linger by the water even in the warm evenings. Otherwise, swimming pool muses and shopping facilities in the nearby area can be reached under 15 minutes.

I would go straight back. It was so great.

Small but fine Hotel. Located directly on the dike. Staff very friendly, room large enough and very clean.

Beautiful old Villa Dating back to 1898. Comfortably furnished and the Breakfast is a dream. The views of the harbour are fantastic and Mr and Mrs Beckröge great hosts.

Very clean hotel, room for a villa applicable, no Grand Hotel since very private, but 5 * I give. Breakfast absolutely perfect. Is recommended.

Nice room with great breakfast.

A really good hotel at absolutely fair prices. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bathroom very chic! The breakfast was delicious, the choice of fruit, bread, rolls, juices or cereals absolutely sufficient! Many places offer a wonderful view. I would particularly like to mention the excellent coffee! I have been to many hotels, even with four stars, but the coffee has not tasted so well anywhere! Thank you very much to the very nice hosts! Even though I was only sleeping (in very comfortable beds) and had breakfast there, I enjoyed my stay very much!

Everything was clean, to our satisfaction, room breakfast warm bread rolls, about what a good breakfast belongs to. Nice reception of the fam. Beckröge.

We were with 6 people in this wonderfully located Hotel and very accommodating, and nice hosts encountered. After a good and hearty Breakfast, even with a glass of Prosecco (we have never experienced), we unfortunately had to move on, because we were on a bike ride. I first discovered the hotel Beckröge back in 1984, on the way back from Denmark. It is a family operated hotel with plenty of hospitality that one would expect. The hotel is located right by the shoreline, you can see the ocean and the ships from the breakfast room. Trying a number of other hotels in Cuxhaven, I have always found myself returning to hotel Beckröge. The rooms are beautiful and very very quiet. Breakfast is plentiful and the hotel is situated just right for a walk along the shoreline or a quick walk to do some shopping. The price per overnight is extremely reasonable. WLAN access is available, as well as television. 25 years have past and the quality and beauty have only improved. I'll be staying at hotel Beckröge during my visits to Cuxhaven for many many years to come.
