Very pleasant. Everything you need and that is clean and nice.

We were completely satisfied! The lady at the reception (reception management) was very friendly. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was also fine. The location is great, everything is within walking distance.
We were happy to use the beverage voucher in relation to the environmental service. Great idea!
We can definitely recommend the havenhostel!

Despite the real shit weather it was with you really very nice. The staff was as always very friendly and very very helpful. In a night shift, our extension has been made feasible. We are all very grateful. We will come back and make you a tidy advertising.

Very not helping receptionist, we drive all the way from belgium to pick up customers at the hotel so we would like to take some breakfast specialy after a drive of 500 km, it was not even possible to pay with bank card, how is this possible a hotel only takes cash?
I didnt have cash with me only bank cards, I wonder how all people that come there pay for the rooms?
So I remain with an empty stomach, they didnt offer no solution then to tell me go outside get cash at some atm around. A little bit dissapointing because maybe the breakfast was realy good? …
Going back now with hungry stomach.

Beautiful hostel in the port of Cuxhaven. I was here just for a meeting. The rooms are on a higher floor — very nice and great view.

The havenhostel is centrally located from the train station downtown and port the view of the Elbe where the giant ships drive is magnificent room they are purpose set up maessig it is all as you need the room price is fine.

More "low-budget hotel" than "hostel. " Prices for Pentecost was more hotel-like at €99/DZ. Clean rooms, clean lines, breakfast for €8 okay.
The location is perfect for activities around the harbour.

I was only at Havenhostel one night. All clean and reasonable, the rooms are sensibly furnished and the staff is friendly. I would absolutely recommend it in the price-/it for money.

It is a simple room facility (without a cupboard) that fulfils its purpose, especially for short trips. TV, Bad/Shower super. Noise caused by clairvoyance is to be expected (including falling the doors quickly and heavily into the castle, street on the front). The location is centrally located near the city. For families with children rather unsuitable, as no beaches or play facilities in the immediate vicinity.

The rooms are modern, and clean. The staff very nice. Minus point is available for the non-existent refrigerator in the room. The view from the room was fantastic.

The room on the fourth floor I felt quite light-hearing, also through the connecting door to the neighbouring room. Functional facility available.

Very nice, centrally located near train station and seaport hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and functional modern. A rich breakfast buffet is available for a small price. It is also worth noting the great friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. I love staying at havenhostel Cuxhaven and highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are tidy — no art because almost empty. Service barely recognizable. Individual arrangements are not complied with, rooms are rebooked. It may have been due to the booking. But not at the price of this room — and it was not an isolated incident.
In Cuxhaven, small guesthouses and hotels will rattle off by phone before it is booked as an emergency nail. Only then is it OK.

Basic amenities, good room size with TV and Wi-Fi, no phone. No carpet therefore very clean. All in red. Breakfast for 8 euros is plentiful and OK. Coffee tastes good too. We would book again for a short trip.

I was with my mom and sister on the weekend in Cuxhaven as "Herbert" raged across the coasts. We stayed for the first time in the hostel … right at check-in we felt comfortable … very friendly staff … clean room with a great view of the crab cutters … the elevator ride accompanies every time entertaining … we lived deck 3 … a clean bathroom with a great shower … the breakfast buffet is rich and good … something for every taste … WE COME! Thank you for the nice accommodation dear Havenhostel team.

So far everything is great there. The rooms are simple and well furnished. Ok the mattress could be a bit harder. There is something annoying that you can hear through the door locks every door in the hallway. There is a deduction from me for not being able to use the roof terrace. Was an event on Saturday for which the terrace was at least closed from Thursday to Monday inclusive. Parking situation on site is not very good.

The Tools are BIG and very nie and the See to rhe northsea wounderfull.

Havenhostel in Cuxhaven is a pretty good hotel nicely located at the habor.
We've got clean rooms and an awesome breakfast.
All I can say is we'll be here again any time.

Perfect Hotel for the AdminCon I have organized for the year 2016. Meeting room for 60 persons, perfect technique, great food any time of the day and round-the-clock Service, flexibility and customer orientation is in the foreground.

I have accommodated guests by me here several times. Everybody was very happy.
The staff was particularly praised.
The rooms are super and everything is very nicely designed.
So I like to invite people to Cuxhaven — and recommend the Havenhostel
Way to go.
