Nothing to say against that location. Clean cabins, friendly crew, great spot at the rivercide and an awesome Breakfast.
Big gap between the offer on the paper and the real service. Overrated luxury rank hotel taking advantage of the touristic situation of the city. Very small suite bedroom, not that clean. The so-called fresh and creative cooking was actually a simple and expansive meal, too rashly served to be that fresh cooked. Overall, unprofessional staff, looking to close everything earlier, nevermind the customers. Internet's not working on the rooms. Finally, way too expensive for the service. BUT : Understanding managers after explanations. Good breakfast's buffet and comfortable beds.

We reserved 2 rooms for a 5-night family holiday in July on this ship in Lutherstadt-Wittenberg. The reservation was made through Expedia in February. We paid for the rooms in full and I was assured that the reservation was confirmed before we left on our trip to Germany. When we arrived at the location of the ship on the Elbe River, it was not there! We drove around Wittenberg to make sure it was not in an alternate location, but we could not find it. We called Expedia, and they could not locate the ship nor could they find alternate lodging. I later researched the vessel and found it was cruising in the Baltic Sea and was near Poland. Expedia reports that the vessel did not contact them about the change in plans. Several times I tried calling their office number listed on their Facebook page and left a message, which was never returned. This is an unacceptable situation. We travelled 11 hours and 3700 miles to find that we had no place to stay when we arrived. There was an event going on in Wittenberg and there were no hotel rooms. My wife was in tears. We had to find alternate hotels in other locations and had to split up the family. Our vacation was ruined. Expedia is still booking this ship after I complained to them. Do not use this ship. They cannot be trusted. Think how you would feel if you paid for lodging and that lodging wasn’t available. Stay away from Hotelkabinenschiff Junker Jörg! Stay away from Expedia!
