Really helpful staff. Probably only one place in Magdeburg where every instruction is German and English both. Cleanliness 5/5. You will also see many international guests which is quite unique in Magdeburg. Restaurant also has a quite variety of menus. They also let us film for our non-profit film project. Really happy with them.

The Hotel Ratswaage offers everything you would expect from a hotel. Friendly staff, large rooms, quiet location and yet centrally located. One reason to report in detail in our blog about our trip to the hotel. We were very happy to be here, thank you very much for the nice days.

Great house, huge rooms and corridors, wonderful breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired and very friendly staff. The bar and beer garden are also very nice. Definitely my hotel for Magdeburg. Smoking room would still be desirable.

No air conditioning at over 30 degrees. Not even a fan! Absolute disaster and that at 4 stars. 5 sockets and a lamp were broken. Drain dirty in the shower. Partly unfriendly staff. A cancellation was not possible shortly before, although we had booked rooms as a group of 9 people. We could have been really accommodating. I don't visit this hotel a second time.

Clean and tidy staff very friendly would visit again food great.

A good atmosphere. Menu very clear, not a large selection. Food tasted very good. Nice and friendly service, but it could have been faster. We had to make our impression if we wanted drinks. Not consistently, but we were a big round, there should be asked more often.

4 Star house.
Had 2 Rooms. 410 Wheelchair Accessible directly at The Elevator, wide Double Bed and good Equipment.
418, normal Room but also suitable for a longer Stay.
The House is located directly on the Shopping Street And is also suitable for Rolliaders or People with walking Disabilities.
In the Basement large r Pool and Sauna.
Absolutely Recommended.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Magdeburg. We had a large, clean room with a large bathroom. Only drawback: The shower did not have a cabin but a shower curtain. Otherwise, everything is great. The breakfast buffet was very extensive, the service exemplary.

Quite classic place in an otherwise boring city centre (too many new buildings). Very affordable for what near luxury they provide. Breakfast was top also.

Not bad for a small Magdeburg stay, but something is missing to find it really irresistible. Amazingly, I can't say what it is. I think a revisit can help figure it out.

Room are clean and comfortable. Enjoyable breakfast with a lot of options. Unfortunately all the workers speak very little English and communication can be very frustrating. I'm giving only 3 stars because for a Hotel 4 stars I would expect more than what I got.

Very nice breakfast. Service very good. In our room very dark and old fashioned furniture. From the WLAN network you were thrown out forever. Central location. Otherwise good stay.

Extremely friendly and professional. They packed me a lunch box because I had to leave early.

My grandma celebrated her birthday there in the banquet. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive and friendly. Only in the dessert you had to hurry because unfortunately it was not replenished again. On demand, however, we still had a look at a similar dessert. I think my grandma liked it very much. The farewell even went up to the car.

One is not greeted let alone asked about the arrival. Room and general condition according to the age of the hotel. Was on site with a wheelchair user who was not noticed at all, but he was the paying guest. Even in the evening no small talk or the good will for fleetingly polite conversation. On departure, the decision was not confirmed to visit this hotel again.

Ich habe die Salzgrotte im Hotel besucht mit dem Angebot "Süß und salzig" was einen Aufenthalt in der salzgrotte sowie Kaffee und Kuchen im Hotel beinhaltet. Ich war sehr zufrieden und werde wieder kommen!

Nice big modern hotel right in the heart of Magdeburg! Easy to reach by public transport. Taxis right outside the door! Competent staff! Clean atmosphere! Parking garage is available!

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But tastes are as well known as different:)

We were there for Christmas dinner. An open buffet with a lot of choice and for every taste was the right food there. Despite the amount, each dish was superbly prepared and every food I taste was very well seasoned and very tender. I would not have expected as the crowd was very large, so usually the quality suffers. So you were very positively surprised. The staff were very friendly and competent, nor did it have to be noted that although the first Christmas Day, they do not want to be at work. Great respect for that. The ambiance was good for the size, it hit the theme and you felt comfortable. All in all it was a very nice visit and it was a pleasure to have been there.

The hotel is well organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful with every question. The rooms are cozy, spacious and clean, the bed/mattresses very pleasant. I have slept and had breakfast wonderfully here every time and can recommend it from the bottom of my heart. You should definitely pack swimsuits because the pool attracts especially for morning sports in the basement.

We stayed for breakfast at the Ratswage Hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good. I had everything for a comfortable balanced breakfast. (bread, buns, croissants, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, sweet and hearty bread, eggs (both scrambled eggs and boiled egg) Panecakes, sausages, bacon and of course fruits and vegetables). The service was very polite and friendly.

So far I have felt the hotel to be friendly, welcoming. The food was good and the staff attentive.

I like the hotel. Service used to be a lot better but is still okay.

It was ok. Check in was quick but when we asked about the cot we requested they said it wasn't on the booking. We checked later and it was definitely on our confirmation. We got a cot within a few minutes but there was a bar missing from each side. A potential risk to life for a young baby that could get his/her head stuck in between the bars during the night. The room we stayed in looked NOTHING like the ones they advertised. It looked like a room in my nans house! With the linin and furniture quality to match it! But it served a purpose so can't grumble too much. No kettle or coffee machine in the room. Never in my life have I stayed in a hotel that doesn't offer this basic feature. Made making the babies bottles that much harder. I had to go downstairs to the breakfast buffet to get a pot of hot water and I nearly got charged for it! Also beware, they charge for usage of their car park and for the cot. Strange things to charge for but that's not the annoyance, the annoyance is that you don't know about the charge until it's on your bill. Staff were all very friendly and efficient though. Especially the young lady serving on the bar. Also guest communal areas were of quite high quality giving a good feel straight away to the hotel.

We visited the restaurant to enjoy Easter Brunch on Sunday. The buffet looked amazing, but unfortunately it was just the looks. Most of the foods didn't taste well. They were either too dry or lacked spices. I would expect something more high class from a 32 EUR brunch. The restaurant was also a bit too crowded and we had to wait in a long line to get to the buffet.

The rooms and bathrooms were huge and really clean. Near from the city center. The service was perfect.

Location of the hotel is very good (city centre), rooms are large and comfortable, there is a swimming pool. Breakfast is also quite nice. Overall a good hotel.

No free Wi-Fi for guests. For a small screen in the lobby with free Internet access. You should then business matters can regulate and store its passwords. An imposition for exhibitors!
The bread at breakfast are so old that you can part them hardly with a bread knife, properly like rubber. That on a Saturday morning. Sleep in a room only with an open room with tram connection. So as well as not.

It offers many facilities including pool and entertainment but not always up to par. Above average prices.

This was definitely the worst hotel I have stayed in so far. I have no idea how they got the 4 stars rating but what I experienced is a rude front desk and a zero service policy (no help with the bags for example). We checked in with 2 person but got 2 single beds, even though double was requested when we made the reservation. There were only 3 medium size towels and 1 was dirty. No toiletries were provided. The room doesn't have a real shower, it's only a shower curtain. The room does not have a kettle (least standard for 4 stars) and no safe. Also no mini bar. The hotel has no air conditioning which we thought would be ok as it is not so hot in Germany now but it was horrible. The Wi-Fi is not only not free, but it costs you EUR5 per day! When I tried to check out after one day because I didn't want to stay there any longer they wanted to charge me 90% of the second night, looks like they expect people to try to run.

The staff is very unfriendly, the food ungenissbar. Your events you align to be desired, the prices are overpriced (night flea market, for example, Bratwurst 4 € cold and black).

We were in 2012 with a tour group here and were surprised about the male tone, also to the customers. Behind closed doors it was called then, was a Problem that arises from the very top down to the bottom continue, as the Lord, so's Gescherre. Very questionable how such a Hotel can operate.

Great Hotel with incredibly good location. No 50m from the shopping centre. However, rather something for older guests from approximately the age of 40.

I am just a guest in the Hotel Ratswaage Magdeburg. I have a busy but successful day behind me. I have the review of "MORTICIA" read and would like a short time my opinion of the Hotel for future guests. Adventure car Park: A subjective impression! If a car Park is full, it is full. And when a Hotel is well attended, then the car Park of a capital city in a Central location quite be full time. As I've noticed, the Hotel has numerous meeting rooms. Also today, seemed to me the house is well attended. I have a place in the car Park. I'm also pretty sure that this car Park with its 4 floors not permanently completely full. And if it is full, the money was refunded, the ladies or gentlemen at the front Desk apologized. Morticia — where is the Problem? I can be your "displeasure" also do not understand. After I the web site had looked, I was already pretty sure what the impressions and the ambience of the hotel. Unfortunately, you could on the Website do not book directly, because there is constantly causing errors. But the visit to the Bar (with Cocktails) and the Pool, my visit to the hotel and Magdeburg itself will not regret. Again when I'm near, I'm probably going back into the Ratswaage Hotel to check in. I would, however, have a few more special promotions wish.
