Family hotel friendliness, great breakfast, very friendly team.

It was a very nice holiday. We liked the apartment very much. The breakfast was great. Many greetings to the team, were all very nice and accommodating.

Goods there and have taken a vacation. It's really beautiful and idyllic. The forest right outside to take walks with children and dogs.
Shopping is a little away, but you usually come by car anyway.
it would be nice if there were a few play opportunities for children. There is a small "playground", but this is more for toddlers.
the furniture in the apartment has already come of age, but that did not bother us.
small shortcoming, on the balcony you could at least put a small table, in order to be able to use it for breakfast or similar.
otherwise everything is great. Recommended.

The rooms have really gotten old and in general there definitely needs to be more done and renewed. However, the staff was very friendly to us and the food was also highly recommended.

It is an apartment complex on the outskirts of the village of Schierke, in the middle of the forest. We were there with our children 5/3. Our apartment was a two bedroom apartment. Unfortunately, the beds were partly read and you could feel every feather of the mattress. The bedding was old and did not make a neat impression. Pillows and blankets were clumped together. Since it will be very cold at night due to the forest situation, even in summer, it was a pity that the heating was switched off at night. You could hear almost everything from other apartments. Does someone use the rinse at night or washes their hands, it sounded like you were standing next to a kettle. The food was partly very bad for our taste. It should also be noted that one should not be a vegetarian, as here is very meat-stressed cooking. However, it should also be commendable to report that homemade salads, raw food are offered. A children's menu was also offered. We have cancelled our stay and are spontaneously to the Baltic Sea. The reception was fair and only charged us the days we were there.

We have been to Schierke many times for our brocken hikes, but for the first time for 2 nights here. The location is really fantastic and quiet. We had room 401. It was the most necessary and everything was very clean. Outside the buildings you can see a little bit of the tooth of time, but that's not really important to me. The breakfast buffet was very rich and it is available until 11 a. M. On holiday, you also want to sleep relaxed. Even the scrambled eggs do not come from the bag, but are made from fresh eggs. You taste that. In the evening we were always guests in the local restaurant in the main building, which really offers a very nice interior ambience and has a wonderful terrace outside. The staff was always very friendly and the food is top of the price and performance ratio. Also the accommodation prices are absolutely OK for the equipment and size of the rooms. Here we will be happy to come back. Thank you.

Were there 2 times. Large Apartments in a beautiful Landscape. Service very friendly and helpful. The whole Complex is from 1999 and renovations are due on the Façade and Windows. What doesn't go down well is that there are 2 Chairs on every Balcony, but there are no Tables. Balcony, though very small, but a small Table is missing immensely. Cleanliness absolutely correct. Good Mediocrity. Restaurant clean cozy and eat tastes good. Breakfast in the morning in the Restaurant actually doesn't bounce like that. Do Better in the Apartment itself. The Surrounding area, of course, offers a lot to Do for Hiking. Chunks, Wurmberg several Cliffs and so on. Like to Come again.

The apartment is pleasantly large and friendly. The complex has been under its belt for a number of years, but this hardly stands out except for a few beauty deficiencies. A wonderfully quiet location "in the middle" of the forest and the nice staff can also be credited positively.

Outdated, partially derentangled resort. Eating on average — prices above average. Toilets dirty. In summary: Not recommended.

We had a family room. Ines consisted of a kitchen with a living room and a double bed. There is also a toilet. The double bed would have been very good for two people for a family of four, this king-sized bed is far too small. The carpet floor welcomes one with undefinable stains and the living room table as already very strong use traces on. The fact that we had put the bed on the wall so that at least one adult with two children can sleep in this bed, much and very directly into the eye that had not been sucked there even of the longer. The kitchen was so usable the final cleaning of the kitchen is not included in the rental price. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. However, in terms of price, overall performance is rather disappointing. Everything looks heavily used and rocked off in total. We still had some nice days in the area. We believe that with a few hand-crafted handles, this negatively gained impression of the plant could be eliminated.

Very nicely furnished apartments. Great view. A bit remote, but also quiet. Food great. Was worth it.

A great hotel as a starting point for wonderful hikes through the Harz. The apartment-hotel "Brocken View" convinced us by fair prices, helpfulness and family hospitality. The large apartments are furnished with sufficient material. Everything was clean and the wonderful tranquility convinced us. Of course you can make a luxurious holiday, but if you are looking for a cheap hotel for your family holiday, you will find it here in Schierke. We will book the "Brocken View" again on the next visit to the Harz.

Very nice big apartments. Was cleanly cleaned. The breakfast buffet has a delicious selection of regional and everyday Wursr/cheeses. Also very nice cereal selection (in addition to cornflakes including quinoa, amaranth, flax seed, chia…) Fresh fruit platter and tasty scrambled eggs.

Badly in need of renovation. Staff friendly and competent. TV only a few channels. Carpeting very poor due to strong stains. Bad smells strongly for chlorine for days. Refrigerator runs OHNR end day and night. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Phone and own internet very weak and almost impossible. Eat well. Partly very noisy in the evening at dinner.

Price/power is perfectly fine. On the whole, however, a general refurbishment of the plant would be necessary.

Nice large room (112), top starting point for hikes, good location. But trash cans in the room upon arrival filled with used baby diapers, lumpy feather beds without filling, despite complaint no chance of exchange, window seals moldy, room service "shoo, shoo… ", Wi-Fi is only available selectively, reception and restaurant (very inappropriate, as every restaurant culture is lost by permanent Daddeln), no regional TV station, balcony and there ashtray with tipping stuffed, only restaurant staff friendly! Price calculation of the menu in the House sets too high expectations which are not met. Nice to have a positive reaction before our departure! And.

If you can get a good value for money then the hotel is absolutely recommended. The kitchen is traditional fare — emphasis on good. The view from the top you can walk directly to many cliffs and the rooms are huge and cozy; Although 90s standard but we liked everything (apartment with kitchen)

Very nice place in the forest. Quaint restaurant. Comfortably furnished apartments. Well equipped.

It was very nice there, especially the great view with snow but the rooms have stank very much according to dog, and are already a little worn out! That's why it's only 4 stars … but otherwise super.

Spacious, bright and clean room with only very basic equipment friendly staff great german dinner, breakfast with variety but nothing fancy very quiet area, good starting point to hike the Brocken.
