Very nice hotel in a quiet location!

The hotel is located in a quiet location, just outside Benneckenstein, on the edge of the forest. The house is already a bit older, but all rooms were modernly furnished, the sanitary facilities up to date. The house as well as the rooms made a very clean and well-kept impression. We were on 8 motorcycles and we were offered a container for night accommodation.

The restaurant also made a good impression. In principle, the restaurant was the conservatory, with a few other tables in the front room next to the counter and breakfast buffet. The menu was clearly filled with local dishes. Since we were on our way to eight, we could try almost everything on the map. All the food was delicious, but the charcoal pan and the deer steaks turned out to be favourites, both of course with the delicious roast potatoes. In terms of price, everything was in the frame, after all, Benneckenstein is a health resort. The only shortcoming in the restaurant was the often not observed screed for drinks.

Directly adjacent to the conservatory was a beautiful large beer garden, overlooking the game enclosure. This in the access area of the hotel bordered the game reserve with a large hall, which also belongs to the Hotel Harzhaus and where you could play tennis, badminton, billiards and bowling.

We had a very nice and clean room, the view was very nice see photo. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious and the breakfast buffet is very good. The wellness area is beautiful and also new.

An all-round beautiful weekend. The hotel is very idyllically located in the forest. At night it is really quiet and fox and hare say themselves here definitely good night. The rooms and the whole complex are very clean and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner buffets were well stocked and it was quickly re-energised when something was running out. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Overall, the complete service staff made a relaxed, friendly and very hospitable impression. The hotel complex invites you to discover and walk with the game enclosure and a sports hall offers alternatives in case the weather is worse. For parents with children certainly a great accommodation, as it usually gets boring for children in hotels quickly. We will definitely come back!

I was with my girlfriend at the Harz house dinner and must say that both food and service have convinced me very much. Located on the forest, the hotel has its own game enclosure with deer, deer and mufflons. The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. There is a car park on site and there is also a sports facility right next to the car park, where you can play tennis, billiards and skittles, and also has a gym. All in all, I would recommend a stay for everyone.

An absolute disquiet of the hotel management. How this hotel has come to 4 stars is a mystery to me. Room small and cramped. Service except for one woman an absolute failure. Have a Cologne cheerful nature, where I do not understand how to let go of the man on his guests. It interested no one's broken life and why he came from Cologne to the east.

The hotel is beautiful, a bit remote from the street and therefore nice and quiet.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were, of my taste, a bit too small. But they were comfortable. Very clean.
The food is delicious there and when you sit in the conservatory and look at the wildlife enclosure, you feel you have arrived on vacation.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

It's really a pity to see how you can ruin yourself. A beautiful area, but the service and friendliness have left the hotel very much to be desired.
As hotel guests, we were denied access to the restaurant because of a bus group with, from noon until the late afternoon. If at least once for breakfast someone would have told us this! Then you could have organized the day differently. How can you not leave a place for hotel guests? Let alone, perhaps, to make the offer, yet somehow to get coffee and cakes.
It was exactly the same with the bowling alley. It costs extra, OK, but you have to do everything yourself, no chalk available and no service and also here we were not offered to get something to drink! Incredibly. Those who have not understood the principle of hospitality and the satisfaction of the guests, will not be able to offer this service for long… Too bad to have the beautiful resin and the place that carries only very little life in it!
By the way, we were a total of 6 people.

We ate nine dinners. The menu is very scarce, most of the main dishes cost about 15 euros. The quality was unfortunately very average. The prices of drinks rather high. Conclusion: Not recommended!

We stayed for a long weekend at the Hotel Harz House. The room had a great view of the game enclosure. Room size was good, layout super, front bathroom, then the "bedroom" and in the back part table and chairs as well as closet. There is enough space to stow away.
On Saturday night there was buffet. Very tasty, only those who are on holiday on a diet or only eat LowCarb will have to settle with little choice. We found the selection to be great anyway. Also at breakfast. There is something for everyone and delicious. The cakes are also recommended to a dream.
Just like á la carte food. Have never eaten such a delicious pasta plate. Thank you very much!
On Monday we had eaten out of the house as the restaurant had to.
The wellness area is also very nicely done, only had to find us. Had him, due to that low season, for us alone. Very relaxing. The aroma oil massage is also recommended. Simply delightfully relaxing.
And who is now looking for the hair in the soup, would discover some dust and spider webs at the top of the windows at the Conservatory.
In all we had a beautiful relaxing weekend. We would go on holiday again.

A very nice hotel, in a great location, with very nice staff.
We were from 13.01. — 18.01.2018 at the Hotel Harz House.
At that time we were almost the only guests.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful at all times and the conservatory is a dream.
The rooms were always clean, but on 17.01.18 They felt that nothing had happened. That has worsened the rating somewhat.
Hot food in the evening is not possible at any time, as it is certainly not worth it, because it is low season.
In the area it is very difficult to find restaurants.
We were lucky enough to have a lot of snow, but the parking lot is not noticed at all.
You can reach all excursion destinations by car, with snow you need a little longer.

The resin house has its own wild enclosure. The wild meat is of enormous quality. The sauces to the meat are great. Generally, the food there. Sauna and hotel rooms are resin style. The décor s style must please you. However, hygiene and cleanliness are top.

If you're looking for peace, you'll find it here. Great food, super nice sauna area and great massages.

With 8 friends, we spent 3 wonderful days in the hotel Harzhaus Gmeinsam. The kindness at the reception, cross did well just on an equally friendly and fun staff.
The kitchen did their peers to do so.
Daily attendance in the winter garden with its magnificent view — simply just beautiful.
We felt the effort to go there every guest, every day. Even a forgotten watch immediately began the journey to its owner.
We are looking forward to a next visit.

A true gem here in Benneckenstein, relaxation, delicious food, a diverse cultural offer, I can only recommend.

Fantastic location, super friendly and helpful staff, very good cuisine and wide range of leisure activities except Hiking.

We had a long weekend in the hotel. It is for visit of resin ideally suited because it is centrally located. Wernigerode, Braunlage, hezentanzplatz easy to reach everything. Our room (triple) 202 is small, was at the time of booking but pointed out. Everything was clean, the staff very nice.

Positive: Very good Service and very friendly staff. Excellent Food. Good Sauna Area. Negative: No room for ski equipment.
