Great hotel almost next to the central station. Rooms are distributed over addresses in the same street but not necessarily connected to the hotel proper. Not that this is a problem, maybe quite the contrary. The room was very quiet considering the location in the middle of the city. Great German style breakfast buffet.

Quietly located hotel in the middle of the centre and just a minute's walk to the Alster. The lovingly landscaped garden in the courtyard could also be located in Italy or Spain. We like to go here in the evening and enjoy a wonderful summer evening in the neighborhood. We always accommodate visitors in this hotel.

Superb hotel, partner of literary programs. A quasi-apartment made available. It's chic, sober, elegant and full of nice attentions. The hotel is made up of several buildings of different thematic colors. A beautiful collection of books at the reception and a typewriter of yesteryear for inspiration in the room. A big favorite for this establishment.

Super central and newly renovated hotel. Very friendly and accommodating. Parking in front of the house. Rooms are small but clean and functional. I'll be back!

A really nice hotel kept in a several color category. We were in the Blue House. Ground floor. The room was quite nice, great stucco on the ceiling. Bath is small but clean and modern.
Unfortunately very clairvoyant, every guest listened to live. Windows unfortunately keep closed, through the noise in front of the window. All in all, however, have been a nice weekend.

Lovely place to stay in Hamburg. Top location, close to a whole heap of bars and restaurants. Our room was apartment style over a couple of floors, very nice. Staff are great too, really friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel in St. George, well located, beautiful rooms and great breakfast. Especially the staff was super friendly and always there when you needed them. Bravo!

Very nice reception, central and good location in direct proximity to the Alster. Modern but somewhat cool décor. We stayed in the "Blue House", this had a bit of the charm of a newly furnished hostel.

I had a shoot here and did not know (since I was too early) where I can accommodate my things.
The staff provided me with a room immediately so that I could have breakfast with my team in peace without having to worry about the equipment!

Lovingly run hotel with very good buffet breakfast. Hotel is located in a quiet side street but still central. The train station is within walking distance.

One of my favorite places to hang around in Hamburg if I want a quiet and relaxed place for getting a coffee. I particularly enjoy the house-made cake and the sunny winter garden. If you have a time, take a look at the books — each one is signed by the author. Staff is friendly and really hospitable.

A beautiful place! The accommodation is not very good value, but the atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant! You feel comfortable between all the books and nice people:)

A unique type of property, multiple buildings in a neighborhood. Good location, Wi-Fi was fine, room was comfortable and clean. No one day laundry service and it was not possible to get an iron/ironing board in room. Better for leisure travel than business I think…

We were for many years. Check-in is now a disaster, always was, allegedly, something to do with the technology. We always had to come a second Time to get the key. My husband is sick and Disabled, for us, this was a weird load, Then we were transported the last time in a backyard. The rooms are not adequately approach the price. Price and performance do not coincide.

We have stayed twice in the Wedina within a week (via the G20 Summit). Once our room was in the main house with a terrace on the garden. We really liked that. The second time there was the room in the next House (Yellow House), ground floor, to the street. And that at the same price (incomprehensible).
We enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the garden. This makes a special appeal and is a reason for us to choose the Wedina.
The staff in the whole house is very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers guided tours of the city. However, they did not take place at our time of travel. We could imagine that the offer differs from the usual and would look at it.

The room was large and spacious but the design and décor did not compare with what is shown on the site. Apparently the rooms have a quite different standard. That was a pity. Besides, my room was a few houses away from the main house, so I had to walk a bit along the streets through the rain to get to breakfast.
The underground car park is just for hard hardened, as you have to drive in a very scarce driving chair.

What else can I add, which has not already been mentioned thanks to my five-star speakers? How can I top this ultimate eulogy? Let's think about it… Hmm…
Maybe this: Since 2013 we have been at least 1x a year (often also often) with you and have not thought for a single second to reorient ourselves. That says it all, doesn't it?!
Therefore: Goodbye soon!
P. S. : I especially love your garden: a haven of peace in the urban jungle!

If you are up for a romantic get-a-away with lots of mainly German authors, this is the place to be.

Easy booking process. Friendly welcome. Issue with room — switch from double to twin was quickly & efficiently handled. Room (Green) very comfortable & well appointed. Location very convenient. An enjoyable weekend stay.

Fabulous little find! Clean, new, friendly staff, good location and a cute garden at the back for warmer weather days. Will come back.

We are coming always again very gladly into the Wedina, everything is just right and the room size (we had a XL in the green house) perfect for a small family. Cool, modern Style, everything is there, what you need and plenty of space. No 08/15 Hotel, but that's exactly what we like. Very nice and friendly staff, the Breakfast buffet is very lovingly. The location is perfect, in walking distance from the main train station, the Aussen Alster hotel is located across the street, a bus station almost in front of the house and various options for dinner in the neighborhood. Also food stores, there are some, everything is there, everything is good. If you like, you can borrow a Bicycle from the Hotel. Great it is always to browse through the many, many books, for me, as a Reader of the Hit. The small garden behind the house is a beautiful oasis, and you would not believe that it is in the middle of the city. Everything was perfect, we will be back — thank you for a beautiful and pleasant Hamburg-experience with "Home-effect"

One of the absolutely best hotels in which I ever got off!
New high quality facility — an appealing garden and friendly staff and an excellent breakfast.
Despite the size, I had the feeling to be familiar led House in one. My absolute favorite for the next visits in Hamburg!

We were housed in the Green House, with a view to the Nice Gärtlein. Us well liked it (have in earlier years ever in the Wedina). However, the area in front of the buffet is slightly inconvenient location and cluttered. If guests wish to have breakfast at the same time of five houses, is very cramped. But the breakfast itself is super tasty.

Very nice garden for breakfast, buffet small and fine, extremely friendly and caring staff, qualified visitors, cultured atmosphere.

Very nice, private Hotel with friendly, courteous Service, especially at Breakfast. The location we find for a Hamburg Trip perfect. The Outer Alster lake, the lively St. Georg district are located directly in front of the door. We will come back.

Nice rooms, Special concept with different buildings. Good and free Wi-Fi. OK breakfast, but could have been a bit more to choose from. Nice area, short distance to centre of town. Good running areas round the lake close by.

Good value for price, great location within walking distance of train station/subway, excellent breakfast with lots of healthy choices. Appreciated the in-room Nespresso machine, electric kettle, and refrigerator. The staff was very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Only issue was that we had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi, however this was resolved by visiting the reception desk where they printed out a password and access code that was good for several days.

Very high service quality. Personnel did their best to solve my issues and to help with details. Excellent breakfast, included in the room rate. 10 minuts walking to hauptbannhof with all bags. Very quite due to garden view from windows. Excelent balance cost/quality as for Hamburg.

We were very happy to stay at Hotel Wedina for five nights. Our room, a studio in four floors, was a nice surprise that we didn't expect. The service was uttermost friendly, the breakfast very tasty and varying from day to day. We are very satisfied with our experience, and recommend Hotel Wedina warmly to anyone.

We were staying in the blue house, pleasant atmosphere, friendly. The two double rooms were very clean (important! ). At Breakfast there was something for everyone, as a big Plus it should be noted that
Plastic packaging is avoided. It was a lot of choice: different bread rolls, bread, jam, fresh fruit salad, cereals, Sweets, etc. The location of the hotel is very good, a few minutes walk and you reach
The main train station and the city centre. In addition, the restaurant density is in St. Georg
great, you quickly find a good (and not expensive restaurant).

My second stay in this lovely hotel. Very charming and gemutlich, staff incredibly helpful, delicious breakfasts and I love the privacy of the rooms with private gardens. Excellent location, well-priced and a pleasure to return to.
