Awful experience, dirty unrepaired place, I felt unsafe there. Only good thing about this place is its amazing location in the city.

Very simple but centrally located hotel.
If you are undemanding like me, then you can sleep well here. But if you're squeamish then maybe not, because the carpet is no longer the latest, and in general the rooms have already gotten a bit old. But that doesn't mean that it's dirty, the cleaning lady comes every day and even changes the bed sheets every day, but it's just gotten old the hotel and would have to be renovated.

In a nutshell, it is central it is very cheap, it is clean, but it has also come of age.

This is definitely a budget hotel by any stretch of the imagination, the location is fantastic, but I'm not sure it makes up for the pretty run-down simplistic rooms. On top of that it is not exactly cheap either, that may be due to Hamburg prices in general, but I expected a lot more for the money. The employee at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful and very knowledgeable, due to the lack of AC in the rooms I had asked for a fan, which the front desk employee was able to get for me. That made us stay there quite a bit more bearable. Overall they need to change every carpet 10 years ago, and the lack of towel holders in any bathroom is quite disturbing. Apartment building, that had all the tenants removed, and each room just turned into a hotel room. The breakfast which could be purchased for seven years a person, was a joke, finish in the oven rolls, average spread of German breakfast stuff, meager selections, and flavorless coffee. You are one hundred percent better off spending. 7 Euro at any bakery or coffee shop. Read reviews, look at pictures, beware.

You can't expect too much for the price, but it was enough for that. After a bed was judged too little, informed of the information and unceremoniously it was corrected and the Wi-Fi code was provided free of charge.

Central location is positive, the rooms are simple and very run down, the breakfast is not recommended, preferring to go to the bakery opposite, we had 3 buns for 2 people and it was not refilled, €6, €50 for breakfast, that was not worth it, otherwise a Cheap opportunity to stay centrally in Hamburg. You shouldn't expect comfort from the hotel. The elevator is more for adventurous people and will be switched off overnight.

Have. A 3 — bed room.
The room is wonderfully large. With a private bathroom.
Even bathtub. All very clean.
The mattresses are rather soft.
But for 2 nights completely ok.
Service in reception top.
All in the day, a slightly older style, but clean and friendly and really great for the price.
We'll be back when the trip goes back to Hamburg.

Mold on the ceiling, Silberfischche in the bathroom, broken slats. The positive thing is that it would have been very central.
Without referring to my room I left the hotel and then called the landlord because the reception was no longer busy to complain about the conditions of the room. This one came only completely unfriendly without talking to me big and tore the key out of my hand and disappeared in the hotel. Once, one came out behind the closed reception and asked me to come to the hotel, who then wanted to know what my problem would be I went to the room and showed him that.
With the mold on the ceiling he first peeped past it and his comment was then only yes the wallpaper would be so that is due to the structure and the shadow of the lamp. Not even of the silver fish he heard, then he kicked one dead and showed him on my hand not even then he supposedly had a clue!
And on my question whether he would put himself in the broken bed I got no answer on several requests!
I was not even offered a new room, he supposedly could have done nothing. I just said that I'm not going to stay here and would like to have my money back, so he's not supposed to be able to do that.
I just said goodbye and now I'm going to take some more steps to get my money back.
That's really the very last.

Price performance fit here, friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are adequate to the prices.

If you just need a place to sleep, it's OK, but the whole building is quite dilapidated. On the stairs one has feeling to be drunk (which has powerful side) and renovation attempts of the rooms are also not really successful. However, you cannot expect anything for the price in the situation. Breakfast is not included in the price, but can be booked.

Very friendly staff, reasonable price close to the station. But really very unclean, run-down, stinks. You have to think about whether you want that. I also saw a bed bug for the first time in my life. For me as an Asian traveller and South American traveller it was okay but if you want clean normal hotels you should not go there.

Super Lage! Für den Preis so eine Lage top! Gegen die Sauberkeit kann man wirklich auch nichts bemängeln. Obwohl die Zimmer sehr alt sind war das Badezimmer sauber. Zimmerservice kam auch jeden Morgen, somit frische Betten und frische Handtücher auch bekommen. Wer hier Luxus sucht ist falsch. Wenn euch das verrostete Waschbecken nicht stört, wenn ihr sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs seid und nur ein sauberes Bett zum Schlafen braucht ist es das perfekte Hostel. WLAN kostet für einen Tag 6€! Finde ich Im jahre 2018 auch etwas peinlich.

If you don't have high expectations, the hotel is well suited. The hotel itself is crooked, or The ground. Heating fittings are very shaky. We had a room on the 4th floor but had to go to the toilet to the third floor because our bathroom was broken, but even with working fittings it would have been disgusting to shower there. The room itself was very musty. The staff is apparently unable to count… so the room numbers 41, 42, 43, 44, 40, 45 were bad for people who have room 40, breakfast is overpriced, positive: in the room itself it is quiet, you get nothing from the street or. From the neighboring rooms with (from the hallway already), the staff is friendly.

In cold season, rooms didn't get really warm, mold forming on the walls. Room old and not really clean. A look under the mattress is not recommended.
The location is top, also the breakfast buffet corresponds to the price — performance ratio.

You get what you pay for — at these prices I did not expect much.

I can only confirm the whole negative review. Absolutely unreputable, and with a cold-hearted receptionist whose smile is as wrong as her utterances. I was lured with a wrong offer, and on site I was forced to pay 80. — € More and I was made to wait about 2h in the cold, although it was clear when I was coming. Condition of the rooms, I just miss the words. Shower does not run from TV without function, very much in need of renovation.
If you have another option, avoid this place. I regret it too deeply.
First of all, beware of the receptionist. I am a professional in hotels, but so far I have not experienced a customer unfriendliness and negative attitude. Never, never, never again.

Apart from the location and a moderately friendly staff, this hotel has nothing good! The Wi-Fi, as well as the breakfast were not available free of charge. The rooms were outdated and in need of renovation. €6 for a previous check-in objectionable is a real impudence! The room (double room with bathroom) is not for allergic people with dust. Our window was also leaking and it was pulled all night and it was not really warm in the room. And the greatest undoing is truly that every key fits into any arbitrary lock, awakened in the morning by a strange man who has unlocked our room! That's not even worth the €70 per night, even €30 would be too much!

Fraud. At check-in I should pay €20 Schlüsselpfang. When checking out I was not advised that I would get the money back. Run now for weeks behind the money, mail sent, no answer. I guess I'll have a lawyer. Incomprehensible!

The worst thing I've ever experienced as a hotel guest. Not even Serbia or Macedonia, I have experienced similar bad things.
Where do I start? Room dirty, carpet old and with stains, bed broken, old towels behind the bedside table, bathroom was so small that you have to climb over the toilet in the shower, mouldy joints, spotty bedding.
Sorry, but no such low price can justify this disgusting room! And the icing on the cake was the stone look of the demotivated reception staff. Greetings from Transylvania…
Oh yes: the pictures of the rooms look relatively ok.
However, we never got to see such a room.

I booked six nights at this hotel.
I only made three… Impossible to make one more night in such conditions.
The hotel is in a bad state. Working in the building I can confirm that this building is not at all in the safety standards…
We had a room on the fourth.
The room smelled like cold tobacco. Obliged to buy a scent to hide the smell…
Then the shower in the room, great but no ventilation! It was constantly wet!
Mattresses of poor quality, mould behind the bed and walls, spiders, carpet imworld all stained, tiny WC (one slapped the knees against the wall seated dessu), no soundproofing, heating almost non existent, lamp broken in the shower and toilet and I Passes…
After three nights I preferred booking another hotel in the area and I do not regret my choice.
Also avoid if you have allergies.
In short do not rely on the photo on booking or other.
I wouldn't do twice the same mistake again.

We had two separate stays here at either end of a weekend break. There are a few oddities but overall it's OK for a budget hotel.

The Hotel was very clean and the rooms were very clean and the room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Waifai paid, hairdryer can only be taken on bail of 10 euros, there is nothing in the room. So almost 100 euros for a room for two is expensive for such a hotel. But good beds.

Pros: location, 5 min walk to train station. Cons: — carpet needs to be replaced. Like 5 years ago — the whole room is in poor conditions — not one to channel in English -Wi-Fi is not free (who the hell charges from Wi-Fi now a days) -lobby closes around 8-9 pm. -not tourist friendly I'd recommend spending a little more so you can have a decent stay in Hamburg. Fortunately I was there one night only.

Stayed here over New Year. Central location with basic rooms. On my first night, I awoke to a scratching noise in my room, got up and turned on the light to find a MOUSE scurrying around the room. This scratching and scurrying around the room went on all night so I got very little sleep. The next morning I informed reception of the issue and I was met with a 'we don't really care' attitude. No offer of a refund was offered and the attitude of the receptionist was terrible. Avoid this unhygienic hell hole at all costs!

Very cheap hotel in the District of St. Georg. Not necessarily the cleanest, but anyone looking for a cheap accommodation option with a simple breakfast is right there. Just not a luxury should be expected. The huge advantage is its fairly central location, 30 minutes walking to the shipping piers, railway station only 10 minutes, bus stop 2 minutes away, in the next district, there are many nice restaurants and small shops.

Nice reciption at the beginning. The room was kind of small but functional. You can get 24/7 into the hotel without any problems through the chip at the key. All in all a perfect room for small money.

I bought Room 44 with my Girlfriend for 3 days. It's worth it's money. Near the city could not be better. A friendly chinese? woman received us. Enough restaurants nearby, train nearby, supermarket nearby.

Not even a star this Hotel deserves! The room stinks, it's noisy, abkasiert is in charge for Breakfast and Wi-Fi. Beside the bed a Staubkakerlakenschicht, the heating is not really warm — it splatters! — from the windswept stairs and unfriendly staff, very telling.

I once had what people would call the "American Dream" but after a week here with the family it was all gone! The service bullied and mugged us of all belongings on our last day there, then my hideous wife was taken advantage of by the owner. Ms. Kuhrt.

Room is small, gammelige shower with WC on 1, 5 sqm, Service unfriendly, no credit card, 1 hour later Checkout costs 6 € per Person, Breakfast room and WC to be catastrophic, clairaudient, rotted carpet, doors to rattle, do not close properly, location is the only positive thing. A Disaster.

I was on a weekend in this Hotel. 2 persons in double room. 2 Nights accommodation without Breakfast cost 100€. For Hamburg still an acceptable price I think. However, the Hotel is pretty run down. Not dirty or even disgusting but, as the other reviews also, is extremely in need of renovation. The staff is friendly, rooms are daily prepared by the Service. If you, as I only have a centrally located place to sleep needs, the Hotel is quite ok. But if you ambience or even luxury in the Hotel, one is here at the wrong address.

The Hotel is very centrally located, yet in a quiet location directly on the Long series, as well as within walking distance to the main train station. Unfortunately these were pretty much all the advantages, positive to mention is, that it every day, complete with fresh Hand and bath towels were, the rooms were clean and the beds made. The Hotel requires not only a fresh exterior painting, inside of, it is in urgent need of refurbishment. The crooked stairs and sloping floors still have a certain charm of the old house with a beautiful building facade, nevertheless, you should then value on the interior. We occupied Four rooms with adjoining room. The beds were OK, but we had three different wardrobes as well as bedside tables and desks, and if need be to bulky waste would go. The great big flat-screen TV was the Highlight of the room. The curtains were tatty, creased, and in the entire house is too short. The window would need time to be cleaned. The carpet was properly sucked, but very spotty and assigned. In the window, and Range were large Ffeuchtigkeitsschäden to see. The bathroom you could by a low door, even the mirror hung so low, that I with my 1.67 m had to bend over to look in it. From the tap came schwallartig the water, so that one in the abdominal area was showered, if you are not very careful as the cock opened.
