This hotel is very clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast buffet is quickly refilled when something is running out. The reception always has an open ear for questions. The bar is also very well equipped and the service is always friendly. The people who complain about the rooms probably only go on holiday in the hotel and not in the city. The rooms are not very large; but they don't have to. They are meant to sleep. There is no sight and knocks on the door; you have to go off yourself! The hotel is highly recommended!

Super central. Super nice. Clean. Quiet. With climate (high value at 30 degrees outside temperature).
Little storage space for clothes and no towel bars to dry the wet towels. A mirror more couldn't hurt either.
But everything else is fine. Especially, that on weekends breakfast is possible until 11 a. M.

Nice hotel, like that it has parking.

Everything is true. We had a room to the courtyard by 10€ surcharge, so there was nothing to hear from the street. The rooms very clean, the beds very comfortable and the staff did a very good job. The only unpleasant thing was the pillows. The breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and a lot of variety. The location is also perfect to achieve everything well. I am very satisfied and we will certainly come back here on the next Hamburg trip.

The location of the hotel is great to explore Hamburg. Unfortunately, our room was very small and although it was not located towards the main street, it was quite noisy. But you probably have to reckon with that when you are close to the Reeperbahn.
The staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok.
All in all, a good hotel for a short visit to Hamburg.

Good location to the Reeperbahn. All within walking distance or accessible by nearby subway. Room and bathroom very small but functional equipped with everything necessary. Breakfast sufficient, but could tolerate more choice.

3 bed rooms somewhat cramped, restaurant offers little, but in the surrounding area many options. Staff very helpful. Overall very good hotel in this category.

For the purpose of exploring Hamburg, well suited. Breakfast well. Rooms spartan. Slept well. Reeperbahn is easily accessible on foot. Public transport in front of the house.

Very clean rooms, super location. However, an unfriendly young man at the reception, snack orders that have never been ordered but appear on the bill and extremely high cost for parking ticket (€24 for a day)

Will definetely recommend Egon hotel. Nice and helpfull staff, great breakfast, excellent location. Would return to this hotel again if the opportunaty reoccured!

Super nice staff, rooms all renovated to new, and very clean, however, "clearly" For Short/weekend trips super for longer. I can recommend the Hotel only.

Nice staff, adjusted prices, only the parking facilities could be improved, small cars have a great advantage here. Hotel is centrally located to the attractions.

Very good location in harbor, just next door, nothing for needy rest… Staff friendly, breakfast average, room relatively small but clean. Price —/performance ratio for HH okay.

Very nice hotel with overall extremely friendly staff. The rooms are nicely designed, albeit a little small for the price. But the décor is quite adequate and the location is very central. Despite the proximity to Reeperbahn, it is very quiet and we have hardly found anything to do with the renovation. A special highlight is the bartender! With his open nature, he could fill a theatre as a sole entertainer and provide the guests with wonderful individual cocktail variations.

The rooms are very nice, but the shower curtain is annoying. Breakfast is the bottom level. With trays It reminds of Mensa food and tastes only mediocre. That's not worth its price.

Hotel very close to the Reeperbahn. Breakfast very good. There is also a restaurant in the evening. Room modern. Only the toilets/shower a little small.

For a two star hotel, everything is great. Clean rooms, nice staff, rich breakfast buffet. I'd love to come back. The Reeperbahn right outside the door. Very good location.

A very nice and for 2 star Super Hotel. The breakfast is very good. The proximity to the Reeperbahn and the piers is great for party goers. I would book it again.

Really great for a 2 star hotel. Good breakfast. Well-behaved bar. Nice and helpful staff. For Reeperbahn visitors very centrally located. A bit annoying were the room cards which often did not work properly.

The room was clean, but unfortunately a little after toilet, probably from the pipes. (Therefore, only 4 stars) The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and extensive. The Cappucino tastes better than Starbucks. :-) So you start your day well!

It was a very pleasant stay in a 2 bed room, eating which I adore today still and I think that then again return it also very clean! And without renovation needed real class.

Just okay, nothing more. The situation is of course perfect for a night on St. Pauli.

This Hotel we can for short-term stays in Hamburg like to recommend. The staff both at the reception or at the Bar are friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily and this also very good. For a weekend, you can do it in fairly small rooms, however, well able to withstand. Of the Nachbarsgästen we heard, despite the not all to thick walls, never anything. Now and again one heard the time, a door to the hallway if this zugeknallt was! The beds were comfortable, the mattress perfectly. The cleanliness on carpet, furniture and in the bathroom 1 a. Towels fresh every day. The Hotel is located very close to the Reeperbahn, however, one gets volumes of technically little to nothing about them. The port is in a good walking neighborhood Hours depending on the pace arrived. We come in any case gladly again.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The Hotel is very clean. The rooms are small, but are absolutely functional and in a great location if one is anyway only for Sleeping there. The beds are very comfortable. I will definitely book again if I come to Hamburg.

Sleep is unfortunately not possible! You can hear every door and every word on the corridor is spoken.

To stay is it time short enough, but the Zimmerklima and the Freudlichkeit at the reception already leaves something to be desired.

Rooms are okay, beds are a little uncomfortable. Staff is very, very nice and courteous. The Breakfast is also okay.

The staff is simply "class" always Striving, never Rude and always on the spot. The rooms, the beds are OK. Mattresses Good and clean (probably new) bedding and towels Clean, towels were on the two days where we as true Changed (not all) of the room in order for 2 days, is Clean but for a longer stay a little cramped. Bathroom well, (bathroom niche), as a thin person, it goes so just now, but otherwise everything else is there, up on a hair dryer (which has certainly not more reingepasst) ;-) shower io. Toilet is clean and everything else clean. Breakfast is passable, rolls, bread, eggs runs everything enough because even cereals, fruit salad and coffee or tea full. All in all, for a few days, the Hotel is good, the price performance is good. If we once again go to Hamburg, we are here to Stay again.

The Service is perfect! The staff at reception and also otherwise is trying very hard and makes for a pleasant stay. Also perfect is the location — at the very least, who in the Evening on the Reeperbahn wants to celebrate. Less perfect, however, the rooms. Generally, these are relatively small, especially the bathroom, I felt as disturbing small. Otherwise, the size was at least sufficient. And while the soundproofing of the road is very good, let the walls inside noises from the hallway and the next room very clearly. Nevertheless, I would personally Zleep Hotel recommend them at any time.

For business travel, from my point of view is not suitable, because the rooms are very small and cramped. The walls are very thin and the noise from the adjoining room are present. Also, not many possibilities to the clothing store and the bathroom is so tiny that no proper storage facilities exist.

Stayed here from 4july to 6july2014 rm 129. Its only a 2 star hotel but its clean and right at the beginning of the reeperbahn. Booked as a package for 2 people at 134 so pretty good deal. From the airport get off at the reepebahn station, bc although its on koningstrasse, is all the way at the end. No fridge though and bathroom a bit tight, but you dont go to hamburg for the hotel right? Go for it.

In this way I want to me at the receptionist Mrs. Jonas to thank me in a case of illness excellently to the side stood. The Hotel can be proud of this woman with money don't have to pay. I can this Hotel highly recommend. Greetings from Dieter Schmidt, former Essohausbewohner. :-)
