Come to Baltrum every year and since there are not so many restaurants we have all through over the years. Unfortunately it was not so tasty at the beach yard, my wife ate rabbit was very dry. I had the pheasant and was unfortunately also very disappointed by the dry meat.
It may be that there are dishes that taste better there, but we were really unlucky.
I've heard that there are guests who loved it, the question arises whether we just caught the wrong day or were eaten differently.
Well, anyway, fortunately there are enough excellent restaurants on Baltrum.
We will try again in the coming years, because the service was very good.

Super delicious food! And really friendly, courteous service even if there is a lot to do! Thank you very much for that.

Restaurant: The food is a poem that convinces salmon burgers with a unique taste through its great ingredient combination … delicious. Equally delicious the plaice fillet.

We were very disappointed. The Food was warmed up and partly still cold. Even the Schnitzel came out of the Microwave. The Red Cabbage came out of the Glass and was grey.
Addition: We were in the Restaurant about 14 Days ago. We have, of course, made our Comment on food directly on Site. The Veal Cutt was definitely not freshly fried, neither was the Duck.

A very nice hotel, nice rooms, very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a dream, there is everything the heart desires from salmon to homemade bread spread and dates. Dinner "Fisherman's Feast" was O. K. Wild-lovers come more at their expense than fish lovers.
To the beach and the centre 3-4 minutes walk.
Some of what is on the website and is not standing, I just want to put right. There was no sitting area in our double room without balcony, just a small armchair. The "mini bar", so a small fridge was not filled, but a tea set with tea, soluble coffee and kettle, which we appreciated very much! There is no reception, but an office, with about 2-3 hours before. And 1 hour. Open in the afternoon. Wi-Fi is not included in the price and must be paid extra! Use of sauna between 15-19.00 a. M. One does not come to the island for a sauna, but is a nice day-end in cold weather, which was for us a selection criterion at this hotel. Even after a friendly request, the owner was not prepared to set up the sauna for 2 hours in the evening from 19.00 or 20.00 o'clock. And there was nothing going on in the hotel! This should be on the website! Then we tried them: small but nice. Sauna towels are also available for an additional fee. Conclusion: Nice, but for us the hotel does not come into question again.

Excellent Hotel. Clean, well maintained, courteous Service, and delicious food to come. In the summer holiday mostly families with children and senior citizen groups attended. The mix but it fits amazingly well. We would visit with the family at any time.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious!
It would be nice if the breakfast would be offered up to 11 for those who want to sleep properly.

We have been coming to the beach castle for more than 30 years, now in 3. Generation. For us here is our second home. What more should we say. Of course we'll be back soon.
Thanks to the whole family Bengen — parents and children — who make this possible over and over again.

We rate the hotel beach Castle with 5 stars. It was totally top! Everything was just right, from the hotel manager to the kitchen to the maid. Small, clean, modern room. Bathroom Prima. Balcony and view of the absolute hammer. Very friendly owners and staff. The only negative point: free W-lan I find standard nowadays. I have felt extremely comfortable and will definitely come back.

The Hotel is very nice, just a few minutes from the beautiful sandy beach. The rooms are functionally and cosily furnished. I particularly enjoyed my balcony overlooking the paddocks. It was a overall a very quiet and restful stay. Sea air, plenty of exercise, good food and very good beds fühten that I well and sleep a lot. The Breakfast buffet is very rich, the Service very friendly and thoughtful. I was all around pleasant time in this very family run Hotel and will during the next stay on Baltrum surely come back here to live.

It was all great! The rooms are beautiful, the Breakfast delicious and all are very welcoming and friendly!

Everything was really good, the reception, the room (the mattresses are great! here should be some 4* Hotel take an example! ), the Breakfast buffet, the warm Freudlichkeit — we really felt Welcome! Added to this is the near from the beach (3min! ) as well as the horse pastures in the South; I don't think that there are Hotels that so quickly from the port to reach! so close to the beach! The Hotel itself is super family-friendly, no matter what age — babies to senior citizens seems to be comfortable and it is really just to recommend! The island has, in fact, the sleeping beauty-charm, but sleeping beauty wanted to Wake up, and the Hotel Strandburg is awake! We'll certainly come back if we are truly to once again soothe the soul!
