We were to a concert in Bremen.
After the concert there was so much staff in the bar of the hotel that no one had to wait long even though every seat was occupied. Also at breakfast the next morning the service worked great.

It should be renovated but still elegant. The smell in the floors and rooms is "old" and thats the reason for giv ikng only 4 stars.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Maritim Bremen at the end of July as members of a tour group from Luxembourg. Of the 4 Maritim hotels we stayed in on our round trip, we liked the Bremen Maritim best, just before the Maritim in Dresden. Of course, the location and the view are not comparable with the Timmendorfer Strand-Maritim, but the Bremer Hotel has other advantages to offer. We liked our clean and well-appointed room on the 5th floor, the tranquility, the delicious breakfast, the well-prepared dinner and the friendliness of the staff. The nice reception that the exemplary director of our group had prepared is worth mentioning. We're happy to come back.

A nice hotel not far from City center. Friendly staff and a big lobby. Feels like a real hotel. Parking in nearby garage under the hotel. Great if you come by car!

Very tidy hotel, nice staff. Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit stale in terms of design. Still, everything is well maintained and you feel comfortable.
The location at the city park is very nice and quiet.

On the day of my stay a poor service. Tungles on the terrace full of used crockery. Despite time, it has not been cleared. For guests, therefore, no possibility to behave space on the terrace.

Situated near the city center and a very nice park, this hotel does the trick for a nice uncomplicated stay. Comfy beds and a very extensive breakfast. Would recommend.

Location central and yet quiet, great. Furnishing too old-fashioned for my taste, but intact. The cleanliness leaves VERY to be desired — bathroom had stains, as did the carpet and the table in the room; In addition, the glass in the picture frame above the bed was splintered — risk of injury! When we alerted the front desk staff to these shortcomings would be promised to take care of them immediately. By the time we got back, everything had also been done — quick and good response from the staff. Kindness is also writ large here!

Cannot recommend this hotel more highly. Fantastic rooms, genuine dark wood fittings, lovely views, luxurious beds, linen and bathroom, power shower, reasonably priced room service, and lovely welcoming staff.

The Maritim Hotel Bremen looks beautiful from the outside. The staff is very nice. I assume the rooms are nice, too, but I did not get the chance to stay there, because there were no more rooms available.

Top located hotel near the city. A little in the years, but still top in shot. Breakfast was really top. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately the staff was not friendly! We had constant drilling over our room. The hotel self was doing the work but took no responsibility nor did they even inform us about it. „Use ear plus. The drilling will go on. “ was their respons. We are very unsatisfied. Can’t recommend Maritim Hotel Bremen. Unfortunately.

My only criticism relates to the non-existent fitness area. Other hotels are also able to offer a small fitness area. For me inexplicable how to put in such a huge hotel, only a two cardio equipment is doing and is satisfied with it.

It is not an exceptional hotel… Prices for the overnight stay normal… But for a breakfast €19 pp to demand I find already a bit exaggerated! and a breakfast for after 10.30h you pay then €23… We went to the small town and enjoyed a very tasty breakfast with all the trimmings, which cost us both together 20€…

We booked one of the superior rooms and got a very spacious room with separate sleeping/living area for a small surcharge. What struck us was that we slept very well in the beds. Normally I do not have to wake the alarm clock in the hotel. The staff were always cordial and we felt welcome at all times. The breakfast was excellent and the pool is well maintained and pleasantly tempered. Overall we had a very nice weekend in Bremen.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. Underground Garage available but expensive & rooms, especially the bathrooms, could use a renovation. All in all but recommended. Note; Rooms are always neatly warm.

Late riser very much enjoyed. Good choice, varied, nice restaurant. Trainees could be a little better-tempered.

Something in the years. Breakfast is great, on demand also with gluten bread. It is located directly at the Civic park where you can go for a walk and about 10min. Walking distance from the city centre.

Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. Hotel is tidy and clean. On the HRS-page, the comfort rooms are presented as larger and more comfortable. That's not true. The rooms are exactly the same size as the standard rooms. This was confirmed to me on request at the front desk. It would be an unfortunate formulation. It's not true. It is simply gone and just wrong. The comfort is created by the higher floor alone. The surcharge of €10 would not be refunded. I feel not serious. So no recommendation and no booking anymore through me. The overnight stay was from the 19th century. On the 20th 11th time enough for a correction. What a pity.

Cosy rooms with dark wood. Beds could be a little harder. Extensive breakfast buffet with freshly prepared Omlettes and weapons of your choice.
The exhibition halls are right around the corner. But also a nice park area. Walking distance is about 30min. In the city centre.
Those who like to sleep at night with an open window should not take a room to the street, well-run at night and noisy.

Nice hotel but from the guests and of style probably more the taste ü40 =) but did not disturb us further. All were very very friendly from the staff and it was all very clean. We were on the market here and the hotel could hardly be more dense. But since we were housed on the 5th floor, luckily we didn't hear much. Really great, thanks.

The restaurant was lovely and the food was great. The conference room I attended was very well taken care of. The staff of the hotel were happy to help, given I don't speak much German I was still able to get decaf coffee on request. I was impressed overall.

Wir hatten ein Event von der Arbeit dort im Messebereich. Wirklich sehr chic alles, leckeres Essen und guter Service. Leider war es sehr warm drinnen.

Very neat rooms with plenty of space for the whole family. It is very close the city but still not crowded.

The room was very old but clean. The meeting rooms were neatly. The location is next to the centreal station, which is nice, if you go by train. The lunch and breakfast were average.

Very pleasant hotel, slightly dated decor but I felt it to be part of the hotel's charm. Good breakfast spread, nice restaurant and very welcoming staff. 10 minutes walk from the city centre and the main train station.

The hotel is well located. The staff was very accommodating and have one quickly and easily helped further. The rooms are big but unfortunately somewhat in the days. Very much recommended for a longer holiday I would find something but where else for a kurzaufendhalt.

The Maritime is a five star four star hotel. Perfectly sited across the street from one of the world's great urban parks, it is well appointed and elegant. The breakfast is remarkable, service superb, pillows correct (down, and not some over stuffed nightmare). If you come to Bremen and have a choice, stay here.

Old fashioned unfortunately not "dust-free" room. However, the food and service are top. As well as the numerous conference rooms.

Establishment of 1940! The TV also and is also not possible to watch football! Furthermore nowhere meets the food of the salted prices. The service is no more than a lower average. All in all a huge disappointment!

The Hotel had the best of times. Breakfast and staff super. Rooms and Hotel are unfortunately too old. Wellness has not been tested. Location, there are much better Hotels in Bremen closer in to the city centre.

For the price: the pre-ordered (! service for the suite was not to have been executed: I have 2x demand. 1x service at Breakfast was definitely NOT present: 3x for normal boiled eggs in demand, waiters&chefs had other priorities! when the final tally was approx €200, — from apprentice TOO much calculated (too) long palaver with supervision. All of this would have had 4 stars is NOT allowed to happen. Nevertheless: quality and service in the Restaurant "L'Echalote" first class! nevertheless, room facilities very good! Addendum: am to juni2014 back! because of the fair! this time a Suite. Will the service be better? last chance! no, you can't do it! on the fourth day was the desired newspaper finally delivered. The Breakfast in the very nice room messy, no structure. For several minutes no waiter to be seen. It takes all his time. Schneckenlangsames clearing of the tables. There is no weichgekochten eggs (a provision in bremen? ), on demand. The cook from the kitchen brings to it. This is all very nice, but ineffective. The hotel is proud (? ) on the home-baked bread rolls, only they won't taste like bread rolls (they look scary WHITE out), there are the kunstbrötchen from the backautomaten better ; — (. Yeah, all little things? other hotels can do it but better. It is just a location?. —. Other impressions: the restaurant "echalote": very good. The bar as well. Small — great — downside of the restaurant: it has SUN+MON closed.

Even if the Hotel is not new, I can only recommend it. Very nice and friendly staff. Sometimes still a little young and inexperienced, but what it only adds to its charm. The Breakfast is not cheap, but VERY tasty. Especially I here the corner with organic products like, Quark, etc From the Region. The Spa I could not take advantage, there was probably just renovated, this one had, but the possibility of the swimming pool in the neighbouring Hotel directly opposite. All in all, highly recommended.
