Very nice B&B with a great garden. Individual and cozy furnishings. Great breakfast in 3 courses prepared with a lot of love and commitment by the hostess, Ms. Müller. Family atmosphere. The friendly host was also present.

Expectations didn't match.
The room “SWITZERLAND” had the bathroom across the hall without prior information and the toilet brush was in the water and dirty. The room "SWITZERLAND" was very small and narrow. The noise from the street could not be heard because the windows had triple glazing, unfortunately it was not possible to leave the windows open overnight in the very hot weather, otherwise the traffic noise would penetrate were. The furnishings were minimalistic, there wasn't even a shoehorn or a mirror in the room. The light source in the bathroom was not very bright and there was no magnifying mirror. The breakfast was very lovingly prepared, but not outstanding with the baked rolls from……the expectations of a 3-course breakfast were only partially fulfilled! POSITIVE: The housekeepers always tried very hard to pamper everyone at the large 12th table. The bedding was very large and ensured a comfortable sleep. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right for such a small room!

This is how we imagined our vacation days! A great setting with rooms (we had a large studio with a terrace! ) that reflect the positions of the host Friedrich Niemann, a long-time and well-traveled hotelier, and a spacious, beautifully landscaped garden where everyone can find their own private spot. If he/she likes…, because there are plenty of places where you can be with like-minded holidaymakers!
The canoe rental is right across from mein. Lychen and off you go you can relax Hike on the water in the lakes of the Uckermark.
Franziska, the on-site host, serves — yes, not one of the usual buffets — an excellent breakfast with many homemade, local specialties. She is always available for a chat and really gives the guest the feeling of being welcome and able to take a step back.
The town of Lychen itself is "laid back! "… so there is actually nothing going on! But that's exactly why this place is the perfect place for guests who are looking for peace and quiet.
We'll definitely be back, now that we've found out that the hosts are thinking about opening in winter too.

Community and warmth are the order of the day here. Reception and service are not only friendly, but simply human. The three-course breakfast with homemade granola, eggs and dessert is different every day, always fresh and yet we are happy to accept requests and do everything we can to fulfill them. Thank you very much Franziska!
A small downside was the “Switzerland” room with the window facing the busy street and the bathroom opposite (bathrobe provided). But the garden is very quiet.
The garden is large, has a small canoe dock and is equipped with lots of small seating areas. No matter whether you are looking for sun or shade, you will find it.
If I end up in Lychen again, I would be happy to come back.

As a family with two children, we spent a few days in beautiful Lychen. We really enjoyed our time at the mein. Lychen guesthouse. The welcome is very warm. The rooms are furnished with attention to detail, so that you immediately feel at home. We particularly liked the wonderful breakfast salon, where a delicious breakfast is served in the morning. We'd love to come back.

A small but fine B&B, run with empathy, very individual, the good mood rubs off on the guests, remarkably different from other hotels. Feel free to come back there!

The Breakfast is very extensive and lasts a long time. It is full of energy in the day to paddle, bike ride, or hike. First class hosts, very friendly and helpful.
