Central yet quiet

The hotel is within walking distance of Sanssouci Castle and the Dutch Quarter. At night it is super quiet. If you are not so good on foot, you can rent a bike.
Super: the car can be parked in the parking garage, at no extra cost. We have a relatively large car and that fit in. It is not as narrow as has been criticised in part!
The breakfast is extensive and lovingly put together. Homemade cake, where is it?!
Unfortunately our mattress was very well located, I always rolled into the cowl ;-)

The website advertises that direct booking is cheaper than through booking portals. BUT: There's still bed tax on top! This is already incl. In the prices of the portals. This should be compared, then the offers of the portals are partly cheaper!

Check-out until 11 a. M. Check-in 3 p. M. Unfortunately, the rooms were not finished until after 5 p. M. You could leave the luggage and go to the city, but I don't think it's appropriate. I would have liked to have moved and made myself fresh after the long journey. And it went like this to all the guests, not an isolated case. There was a lot of luggage in the bar.

Otherwise a nice hotel, maybe again.

The hotel is ideally located for visiting the park and Sanssouci Castle. It is both full of the charm of an old building and all the comforts of a modern hotel. The welcome is very warm (spoken English). The setting is very romantic for a couple trip but we found a family room with 2 double beds. Breakfast is just amazing! There are so many things, between German specialties and international classics. A little more: you can take it on the terrace. 2 small downsides: no air conditioning. It can be very hot in the rooms in the middle of summer even if each one is equipped with a small fan. No elevator, so specify when booking if you have difficulty getting around. It is possible to ask for help at the reception for luggage.
A great address, to try absolutely if you come to Potsdam.

The hotel is superb, the quad rooms beautiful and the whole would well deserve 4 stars if the lack of an elevator for reasons of classification as a historical monument according to the staff did not taify this exceptional offer! Air conditioning would also be welcome as nights can be hot in summer in Berlin (35oC during the day).

Note the breakfast buffet absolutely gargantuan and of very good quality!

Perfect for a visit to Potsdam. Room with great views of the city, best breakfast in the world, downtown and Park Sansoussi within walking distance. Nice staff, parking available. If Potsdam, then to the villa!

Fantastic place, quiet and friendly with great views of Potsdam over the back, close to the Schloss Sanssouci park and gardens and walking distance to the centre of Potsdam. Breakfast is good and the rooms I've stayed in have been clean, crisp, modern and well appointed. There is not much parking and it's pretty small but otherwise it's a lovely hotel and I'd love to stay there again…!

A very pretty Hotel with many very different Rooms not only in the Main House. The well-maintained Outdoor Areas invite you to Linger in different Areas.
The Breakfast Buffet leaves nothing to Be desired, especially the Selection of different Fruits and certainly homemade Compote — Variations I really liked.
The Staff, too, were friendly and very accommodating throughout.
Only the missing Door to the Bathroom bothered me, but does not justify an entire Point deduction, even if I have to fault it as a missing Intimacy.
The Location of the Hotel is perfect, you can walk to the Centre and is close to Sanssouci Castle.
We'll be happy to come back!

Free parking, excellent view of Potsdam, a traditional German breakfast, and a friendly staff. Not much more you can ask for. Also, free Wi-Fi.

A very nice family run hotel near Sanssouci Palace. Breakfast is very good u. You can start your day relaxed. From the hotel's own tower you have a great view of Potsdam.

You can see: almost perfect. But it's just little things. Here, other hotel operators should stop by and learn. The guest is really king here. Thank you and respect.

Lovely building, clean rooms and good location. However the entrance closes at 10pm and have to use a side entrance instead. Some people don't realise this and ring everybody's room. My room got called 13 times in one night. For people on business like myself the Wi-Fi is also extremely slow, my VPN kept kicking me out due to the packet loss.

Central to City and Castle Sanssouci, Super Room, great staff.

Staff were welcoming and warm-hearted. Location was perfect. Breakfast buffet was awesome, like that of a four star. The well-maintained villa was tastefully decorated, charming and elegant. Best of all, guests could rest in the garden chairs, enjoying the quiet and idyllic atmosphere.

They have a small sauna area, and breathtaking views of Potsdam from their gardens. Breakfast is also amazing, with a plethora of options and local dishes. I wish I had stayed here another night for the breakfast alone! The only real downside was that our rooms were on the third floor and there is no elevator to bring your suitcases up. While staff was available to help bring our suitcases up to the room, they were unable to help us bring them down, which meant that I was lugging heavy suitcases down three winding sets of stairs.

Great place. Super hospitable, incredible breakfast layout, incredible rooms, sauna and gardens. This boutique hotel has a 5 star attention to detail, growing their own herbs in one garden and using them — literally the cooks come out and cut fresh herbs during the time you are there eating — and the food is all high end, excellent machiatos and cappachinos — also great croissants, cakes, fresh yogurts, fresh fruit, also the regular german breakfast is there but is just one option — really huge and very fresh spread of multiple salads, meats, etc and lots of homemade fresh options. Hotel is new and great and super clean and modern. 3 different choices of spa — infrared, dry, and the old fashion steam room type. Just really beautiful hospitality. Highest recommendation. My wife picked them because they were on TripAdvisor. Great location also. Garden is better than our local botanical gardens, they are real artists at this place.

2013 I had the luck to stay here to the Potsdam palaces by night: a dreamlike rooms in an old mansion on a very maintained and beautifully designed property with views of Potsdam. A warm family, whom the guest is important and a very good breakfast buffet, no seasoned off or pre-packaged standard, but fresh variety of best quality up to the homemade cakes. My 5 stars +.

Very nice, family-run hotel. Very spacious room and very good facilities. The breakfast is very large and appealing.
Because the hotel has no restaurant to get comprehensive information and restaurant recommendations at the check-in. In the bar, there are small snacks (Strammer Max, cheese platter).

Super atmosphere with almost Italian flair!
The rooms are stylishly decorated, almost all have a balcony. If not, can
you use several very cute seating area in the garden.
The hotel is located directly on the Schlosspark Sanssouci, the downtown area is in 5 min
within walking distance.
The staff is very friendly and help!
All in all the price is justified, I'd like to go again.
