We visited here 2 months ago. In night it looks really good with all decorated lights.

Cool to see, but there were a lot of construction fences around it.

I like the atmosphere, especially during summer nights… Grab a cup of tea, sit around and watch people having fun.

Unfortunately, on the day I went to Potsdam, which was two days ago, it was under maintenance. However, the surrounding areas of the gate are still worth visting.

Impressive place to take beautiful photos but there is BCP of noise which is rather normal.

Absolutely recommended, lots of cafes with outdoor seating and always something going on. Very often there are street musicians here or the drum community keeps the mood. The entire pedestrian zone from the Dutch quarter to the Brandenburg Gate is always worth a walk. When I am in Potsdam, I stay here for a few minutes or even longer…

Don't expect more than an arch. Anyway good to have a walk and take a look.

A walk through the Potsdam Old town in sunny weather and a coffee in one of the local restaurants, what can be more relaxing? Unfortunately, the coffee had to fail, as the grandchildren sprayed too much energy.

We were here during the Christmas Market 2017. Unfortunately, there was hardly anything to be seen of the Brandenburg Gate, as it was also obscured by a Scaffolding. I'm sure it will be restored in the Spring.

I thought there was only one Brandenburg Gate. Far from it. As it stands, however, I can't say, because a scaffolding at the gate cloaks the view. The Christmas market was just glorious. Beautiful place on the edge of the Sanssouci Park. From here you can quickly reach the city centre on foot, has a beautiful view along the Brandenburg Street to the Peter and Paul Church. The shops around, though, could be more welcoming.

The small Christmas market is currently taking place on both sides. Always full of tourist, but beware of pickpockets here. That's what they always say Near this spot there's a huuugee Park in the center of Berlin. Very beautiful, near many Historical spot. Easy to access from everywhere.

A pleasant point of interest when you visit Potsdam. The surrounding area is quite and nice on Sunday afternoon. If you are tired of the crowd in downtown Berlin, then you should bring yourself here to experience the another side of Germany.

A must see historic site when you visit Berlin. On our first visit they had a festival on one side with a music stage set right up against the gate and it was hard to take in the historic value with all that distraction. We went back a couple of days later after the festival had ended and it was very nice to be able to walk around without chain link fences and road closures.

Pleasant city center of Potsdam, good area for small shoping or evening walk. Lot of small cafes and restaurants along street. However serious shoping better plan in Berlin.

Saw two times with a difference of 30 years, the first time more liked, but also a second time wow.

I was accommodated to the ITB from my company here and was completely satisfied. Rooms very nicely decorated and clean. Professional service and friendly staff. Breakfast excellent. Wi-Fi stable and fast. Even video streaming in HD via Amazon was possible without problems.

Large rooms, W-Lan was on all Visit fast, friendly staff, extremely quiet rooms, perfect location directly at the Brandenburg gate. Breakfast is reichaltig, with a normal Muesliauswahl, english breakfast, fruit salad, a small Gemueseauswahl, many cheese and cold meats. Hotel is not, there is a second building which is only by the Fresh air experience can be, but this is still chic and also only 10 meters through the backyard away.

Everything about this hotel was as good as it can be. Staffs were very kind and breakfast was excellent.
