Shocking hotel. Do not stay here. Old beds, loud guests returning at 11pm drunk. Old bathroom, the curtains don't even close. Annoyed that the event organisers booked this place. Very poor value for money. Stay elsewhere. The area and place is just strange, like something from the 60s. Walls and thin and you can even hear when someone opens a tap in another room.
I booked the room for 129 EUR/night and they charged me plusz 10 EUR/night for tax, but they didn't mention it in advance… The rooms are small but clean. It's good if you don't have much money but it doesn't worth the prices!

They cancelled my reservation and I had no idea about it. They said they had called but I have no record of this. So I traveled for over 20h from the US to learn that I had no place to stay. It was quite stressful as it was 7 pm or so and they were about to close the reception and I have never been to Berlin and had nowhere to go. I haven't seen the rooms but the entrance felt like I time-travelled from a low-cost hostel-style place from 1990s central Europe, which didn't give the best vibe. Didn't seem like 100+ euros a night place (for 20 it would had been probably acceptable). Also a lot of stairs to get to the reception — not good if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. Do yourself a favor, read the reviews, look at photos and make an informed decision.
