I had a great stay at this modern and welcoming hotel. The staff was friendly, efficient, and fluent in multiple languages. A nice bonus was the free ping-pong table.
The room was well-sized and comfortable, though the bathroom lacked both a window and ventilation.
I only used the bar, which had reasonable prices for Berlin. Unfortunately, I couldn’t dine at the restaurant, as they couldn’t guarantee the absence of gluten cross-contamination.
Check-in was smooth and fast, with the option to do it yourself with staff assistance. They also store luggage if you arrive early. Check-out was incredibly quick.
The staff was always kind and helpful. I especially appreciated the free disposable cutlery for takeout and the option to buy drinks at the entrance.
The location was excellent—10 minutes from Alexanderplatz, with metro and S-Bahn stations just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city.
Overall, it’s a great choice for young couples, students, and professionals.
However, I was quite disappointed by the lack of safe gluten-free options. The Social Hub is avant-garde in every other aspect and welcomes a diverse international crowd, so I expected more attention to food intolerances and allergies. Given their otherwise forward-thinking approach, I hope they will improve in this regard in the future.
