Wife review** Fantastic hotel. Everything about our stay was perfect. We stayed during Berlin Fashion week and the location was also great and easily accessible for day or night events. The breakfast is incredible and overall definitely a 5star experience. Would go again!
We had a really mixed experience with Regent. To summarise: if you're considering investing a significant amount in a premium hotel stay, you might want to look elsewhere. Regent did not meet our expectations, and here's why:
Here is why:
1) Contrary to their advertising, Regent lacks a spa. The amenities are limited to a sauna and a basic gym, despite what is promoted. A major factor in choosing this hotel was the prospect of enjoying a comprehensive spa experience, yet we found ourselves confined to a small sauna, which was a letdown.
2) The rooms and interior decoration are significantly dated. The charm of living in an old era of Marie Antoinette, may have appealed in the past, but as of 2024, the hotel's lack of modern and vibrant design elements is more than disappointing.
3) While the breakfast offerings are adequate, the quality of food preparation and service falls short. Specifically, the kitchen staff struggled with preparing Eggs Benedict, and service often overlooked us, resulting in up to a ten-minute wait for coffee on some mornings.
4) The most frustrating experience involved the Front Office Manager, particularly during checkout. Despite evidence and confirmation from Booking. Com that issuing an invoice was indeed Regent's responsibility, he refused to provide one. We had to leave the hotel without getting our invoice — it's absurd but this is what happened.

Superb location!
Staff are lovely and gave us lots of good restaurant recommendations.
Hotel has an ‘old money’ feel to them — grand marble entrance, very comfortable beds and l’occitane toiletries.
Restaurant / bar also very good.
