Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz

Stayed in this hotel through a City Break Package with Easy Jet and we were really pleased with the whole experience.
Checking in was very smooth and everything was well organised, even though we arrived before our check in time, thanks.
We upgraded to a superior room at time of booking with Easy Jet which was located on the seventh floor and everything was very comfortable with everything you would need. We did ask for our room to be serviced once during our stay and this was completed with no problems.
The fridge was very well stocked on our arrival, although it is never restocked, which was explained on check in, so no issues whatsoever.
The hotel is well situated for transport links, with one station yards from the front door and plenty of shops and restaurants located nearby.
We went to the bar in the hotel a few nights where the staff are excellent, especially Rishi, who made us feel very welcome and relaxed on every visit and helped us choose our cocktails which were fantastic every time, along with being very informative about places we should visit during our stay, a credit to the hotel.
Couple of negatives we did find was the hot breakfast offerings were never that hot although there was always a very varied cold selection to choose between and the room could be improved with some air conditioning being installed.
Check out was very quick and the staff did ask about our stay which is always very nice to hear.
Would recommend and we would return to this hotel.

Just returned from a short break to Berlin. Stayed at this lovely hotel. Room very clean with a super comfortable bed. Kettle and small amount of teabags/coffee sachets supplied although I did take my own english tea bags. Plenty of shampoo/conditioner/handwash supplied too.
Very quiet location but only a short walk to Potsdamer where you'll find plenty of coffee shops etc and a mini mart where I bought milk for my coffee.
Staff friendly and polite.

Hello. We are here for the second time and will be happy to come for the third time. The hotel is modern, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are great. Everyone will find something for themselves, especially waffles that you make yourself. Very good location for a good price. We recommend.

This was a nearly perfect stay aside from some ac issues our first night. The location. Is great, and the staff were so kind. I think the main reason for my deducted star is the bathroom design. Some of the rooms in the hotel have a partially see through window connecting the bathroom and bedroom. I was not expecting to look over and see my friends butt as he took a shower. Lol. And then the doors to the bathroom are sliding glass door with space to see through them and they don't lock, so there is very little privacy and sound dampening. Definitely a nice hotel to stay in, but I really don't understand the bathroom design choice. I had a nice stay, but I don't think I'd stay here again in the future. Just for that one reason.

I am infuriated by the quality of service here. I couldn't register my booking number on the app either during or before check in, I tried thousands of times and sent 10 emails to Scandic officials and Potsdamer Platz Hotel and they were never answered! I had to call the front desk for all my needs. Upon entering the room, I found no teeth or disposable toiletries or even slippers, and the remote control was lying quietly on the floor. I went to the front desk to ask for two pairs of slippers and the front desk said "not any more" and then turned her head away and never looked at me again. I'm embarrassed because I paid over 100 euros a night for a romantic Easter holiday with my girlfriend and got less service than the cheapest hostel. The most embarrassing thing for me in front of my girlfriend was that the next day we left in the morning and came back in the evening and there was no sign that the room had been tidied up. We had to make up the mattresses and sheets ourselves. Maybe you should remove the "don't want to be disturbed" sign as we didn't use it! Overall, the location was good (close to the railway) but I should have paid 10 euros a night instead of 100 euros. I am cancelling my Scandic account and telling all my friends, family and classmates to stay away from you. Next time I come to Berlin, I will only consider you if the metro station and the toilets are full!

Stayed there for 5 nights a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely fantastic hotel in a really good location. The staff are absolutely fantastic, and would come back again in the future. Thank you from Scotland :)

Asked them twice for a copy of an invoice (email and phone) ; since two days NO RESPONSE. That's a no-go and non-existing service. I'd not recommend them, if you look at quality and good service …

Poor ventilation system; power out in gym with no response to repeat calls for assistance… very disappointed☹️

Unfortunately, all electric charging spaces in the animal garage were occupied. However, only 1 place of an electric vehicle and all others of combustion engines. Not a good service for drivers of electric vehicles. The hotel responded to my question: "There aren't that many electric vehicles yet. "
A clear no to this hotel for e-vehicle customers.

I was there for a company event. The food was great and the organization of the hotel worked out great! Thanks again to the team for the great service!

Very helpful Reception Service took time to explain the various options in regard to sightseeing and getting around the city and was always ready to answer any questions. Real genuine warmness and willingness to reach a resolution approach — whether it was something for the room or booking the conference room, of a fitness studio. Really enjoy my stay there!
