I had a very disappointing experience at MK Hotel Berlin. The baby bed I paid extra for was extremely uncomfortable and had no proper mattress. The bathroom had no slippers, which is unacceptable from a hygiene perspective. The room itself was very small and had no fridge or cooling unit inside. As a diabetic who needs to store insulin, I found this completely unacceptable and unsafe. There was no way to keep my insulin cool, which is essential for my health. Overall, I can say this hotel misleads its guests — it does not deliver what it promises and I would strongly advise others to avoid it.
We had a family emergency and unfortunately had to cancel our stay at MK Hotels (10 days before arrival). The booking was made through Hotels. Com, and they were actually understanding and approved a refund in our sad sitation. However, the hotel itself outright refused to cooperate.
I even offered to pay a cancellation fee – I wasn’t expecting a full refund, just some kind of solution or gesture of goodwill. But MK Hotels wouldn't budge or offer any kind of service. No. Empathy, no flexibility, just a flat-out "no — we can't refund it"
For a hospitality business, this was extremely disappointing. Things happen in life – the least a hotel can do is try to work with their guests, especially when third-party services like Hotels. Com are already willing to help.

Not a good experience. I had to pay twice because their self check-in system didn’t recognize my Booking. Com payment, leaving me outside in the cold at night with no reception, no help number, and no reply to my messages or emails.
They only replied four days later and issued a refund. In the room the shower was leaking, and the heating stopped working after the first day. The room itself was decent for the price, and the metro station is just a 5-minute walk away, but overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.
