Hilton Berlin

I'm currently still staying here, so my rating might change, but so far, it has not been ideal.
In the first room, I had no hot water in the shower. After 3 different maintenance folks checked it out, nothing changed. I finally got someone willing to move me rooms after a day and a half. Rebekka and Manuel were extremely helpful!
Currently, I'm in another room (with hot water now), but my fridge doesn't work, and there's a burnt smell, like a fuse blew. I had 3 new maintenance guys come in and work the breaker since my outlets and TV weren't working either. The fridge still doesn't work. Then they left without putting the ceiling tiles back (photo).
Yes, it's in a good location, and I do like breakfast. Half the folks seem to care, while others seem annoyed at times. I don't complain really at all, but I do expect everything to work properly at an established hotel. I will say that others in my group are not having the issues I am, so maybe third times the charm with rooms?

One of the best Hiltons we've stayed in. Location is very central to everything and the staff is very welcoming and on top of things. We received an upgraded room to a duplex suite with a view of the dome. Great room and an AMAZING view. Highly recommend this hotel if you're interested the area. The executive lounge is very spacious and has a good array of snacks and alcohol. The breakfast on floor 1 is very large and has many different items to choose from. It was delicious.

We just had an excellent 5 night stay in a junior suite. We loved the view from our room of the Deutscher Dom and our room was large and comfortable. Our check in was efficient and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was full of choices and delicious. We had access to the executive lounge and enjoyed the drinks and snacks. Location was convenient to walk to Museum Island and U bahn. We definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

Fantastic location in the centre of Berlin.
Impressive reception area and very helpful staff.
I was able to get access to my room much earlier than expected which was a big help.
The room was spacious with a very good shower.
Breakfast in the morning was superb. Huge selection as you’d expect from a Hilton hotel. Excellent egg station and constantly supplied with fresh food to keep everything available.
The restaurant has a great view out the window.
There’s a metro station right outside the front door but many of the major attractions are walking distance from the hotel, so I’d recommend walking if it’s a nice day.

I recently stayed at the Hilton in Berlin, and it was fantastic! The location is perfect—just a short walk from attractions like Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. The rooms are modern and spacious, with great city views. I loved the breakfast buffet and appreciated the friendly, helpful staff. The interior design of the lobby was also great. It was clean and the staff was very welcoming. The bar was also a nice touch and not overpriced.

Great central location just a short walk from Checkpoint Charlie and other tourist attractions. Friendly service and impressive downstairs. Our room (on the 7th floor) was a bit dated and only 2 power sockets worked, but the room was nice and big.

It was great! Beautiful sites to see in walking distance.

Staff is absolutely amazing and the property is well run and managed. One of the best Buffet Breakfasts I’ve had in Europe. Excellent experience all around.

Reading many of the recommendations on this page, I wonder if we are in the same hotel. Staff, as in all Hiltons I’ve been in, is very friendly and helpful. Can never complain about that, but the place itself reminds me of a budget hotel. I think this is so far our most expensive stay but for sure the most disappointing stay in a Hilton. Probably also the last one as the benefits of the loyalty program do not justify the prices paid for (some of their) hotels.
