Garden Living - Boutique Hotel

Spacious rooms, but the inside garden is the real advantage. Especially with good weather, this location is a plus.
Book this if you like flowers, gardening, peace and space. Don't book if you fancy more modern design, high tech.
Breakfast was fair for the price, parking available, central location, coffee for free at reception. My room also had a small kitchen with senseo.

My husband and I were there 1 May and left 9 May. We had the double room (14), which was wonderful. It cost a little more than the regular room, but it was worth it.
The room had an extremely large bedroom, and a nice size sitting area in another room. The balcony overlooked the garden, which was beautiful. Hard to belive we were in the city of Berlin. My brother and sister-in-law were there for 4 nights and had a very small room, although they had a balcony overlooking the garden. The staff was fantastic and helped us alot. The breakfast, which they request that you notify them the night before, if you are having the breakfast, was very nice and had plenty of options. We also appreciated having the opportunity to have tea/coffee throughtout the day. Also, they had available small bottles of wine etc, which were available with a sheet to leave your name/room number and item. Great honor system. The location was great; many trams and buses. Also, a number of very good restaurants around the neighborhood. Since my husband and I travel light, it was great that they were willing to do our laundry (cost 40 euros), but it saved us time and they did it so fast. Would definitely stay there again, with the same room.

I agree with other comments that the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great with lots of transport options. We had one of the smaller rooms, and being that it’s an apart/hotel was disappointed there was not an easy chair in the room to sit on, you don’t want to lie down on the bed all the time, also found the firm foam mattress gave me back ache. This is only a personal observation and the bed may suit many, that was the only negative for me. The room also had a kettle, a fridge and a microwave. There were also 2 electric stove plates, but no pots and pans, just crockery and cutlery and glassware.

Great place and good location. Lovely rooms and the garden courtyard feels instantly secluded from the busy Berlin street outside. Big friendly ginger cat rules the garden! Breakfast was continental and nice selection. Free tea, coffee (machine) and left over breakfast pastries are a nice touch. Close to train station and other transport. Would highly recommend for couples.

Amazing location in front of natural history museum just 3-4 min ride from Berlin HBF.
This boutique hotel has a great feel to it and I am so glad we chose this as our 1st stay in Germany. The garden living does live up to it with the windows and balcony opening up to a garden. The moss covered building we saw from our windows added to the greenery.
The room was spacious and had all the amenities one may need. There a common area with kitchenette, dining, drawing and reading room on each floor as well with fridge etc.

Amazing! Perfection! Splendid! I am not usually one to leave reviews, but this hotel deserves every ounce of recognition I can give them. The staff are exceptional, going above and beyond every expectation. We recently stayed at the top-rated Adlon Keminski hotel, and this location trumps it by far. Rooms are extremely spacious, great price and again the services offered go above and beyond. Thank you to the Garden Living hotel for making our Honeymoon trip to Berlin extra special.

Lovely room with view into the garden — great to have even in October. This helped the room to be very quiet. Pre-stay communication was good and welcome on arrival was very friendly. The hotel is very relaxed. Great location with underground, tram, train and bus links nearby. 15 mins walk to the government area. Breakfast was great — plenty of choice and lots of attention from the cats! Bed was very comfortable.

Very beautiful small and particulary hotel with a special charm, a small green oasis in close to the center of Berlin. There is a green inner courtyard to relax. Just the best after an exhilarating day of city sightseeing! The breakfast was very good & for me very perfect — because I don't like big breakfastrooms — without any charme! They have 50m from the hotel a parking area, which is only for the guest of this hotel. Very friendly staff! When I stay in the future in Berlin again — I will come back!

Fantastic location parking available superb smoker's lounge great room with balcony and lovely courtyard even the house cat's were friendly great visit.
