I had a cockroach under the blanket, spider webs hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom looked clean but everything is very ran down. The bed are very soft and uncomfortable. The street was quiet. Checking in was fast.
All in all I do not recommend.

This is a gem of a hotel. Centrally placed for everything. Opposite the Mall which has a floor with every type of take out (or eat in the hall) you can imagine. The beds were comfy, either double or split them into twins, the room was warm (November) with adjustable radiator, shower was hot and powerful. Didnt see much of the staff but those on the desk were attentive and helpful. Free Wi-Fi. Rooms cleaned every day — if you want. Our room wss very clean! Towels provided.
We had a ground floor room, no 7, and it was very peaceful. Had 3 good nights sleep here. The Potsdamer Platz stations are at the end of the road, 5 min walk at the most, all lit and safe for night time. It's not a shiny posh hotel but it gets 5 stars from me as it's exactly what we were after. Even let us leave our luggage all day on departure day in their locked store room. Cant fault the location and cant fault the accommodation. We walked to Topography of Terror, Checkpoint, Jewish memorial and Brandenburg. All close by.
The only thing missing was a kettle for tea/coffee. But the booking did say that when I booked so I was prepared. Will defo come again.

Stayed here for one night during euro2024. After staying at a horrible hotel in Leipzig the night before our hearts dropped when we arrived here. Didn’t look great from the outside!
We were met by a very pleasant lady on the front desk who allowed us to get changed in the ‘boot room’ (baggage storage room) as we’re arrived two hours before check in. The room was pleasant (certainly compared to the previous night! ). No air con but a fan was provided. Ultimately it was a place to sleep so expectations were low but the room was good value for money. Excellent location — about 10 min walk to the brandenburg gate and a stone through from a large Mall, plenty of restaurants and bars.
The hotel was perfectly adequate for our basic needs.
