Nice location, it was bit hard to find but attend was nice and helpfull!

Very nice and affordable accommodation in a central location. Stayed there two nights. It was sometimes a bit noisy at night, but what else do you want to expect in a city. A really great place to stay. Happy to return.

The room was quite small. The double bed were really two single beds. But the worst were the bathrooms that were dirty in most cases. There are two bathrooms (with showers) on each floor. The showers on the first floor did not have hot water and the receptionist was completely sweaty as Al mention told me that I could also shower in the downstairs bathrooms. But if you pay for everything to work perfectly. On the other hand, I said the same thing when I told him that the Wi-Fi of the hotel did not work. He told Me to use a free and open Wi-Fi network that in addition to being of very poor quality, was very insecure. What happened was that the guy had changed the key of Wi-Fi to have it for him alone and that nobody consume bandwidth. This happens when the hotel is not yours and you want to have a network for yourself without anyone bothering you while you're working and watching your stuff on your mobile or tablet. The late check in system was something I liked and also the fact that they let me keep my bags in a private room even having passed the check out time as my flight was at night.

The room was in miserable condition. Furniture all broken and ancient. When we opened the room door, I first approached Mief of cigarette bruise, which did not go away even when the window was open. Bed was clean but mattresses of something of it was well placed! Somehow it itched us all over our bodies afterwards (bed bugs?! ) Have booked for 4 nights, then had to take a hotel after the 2 night … Didn't stand it there anymore. But didn't get a penny back as we booked through Booking! Hotel, by the way, was not much more expensive.
Not recommended!

There is nothing particularly wrong with this place. You get what you pay for. It's clean. Beds are creaky, but clean. Walls are thin, but the clientele is quiet. There is no sink in the room, which would have been nice since the bathroom is shared. The neighborhood is quiet, but not far from activity. Good location for public transit and some great tourist attractions. No elevator, of course. Skip breakfast. There are bakeries close by that have better food, and the coffee provided was not good.

Good price, spacious room but only one bathroom for all rooms and no hairdryer.

The room is clean but without the cold tobacco, the fire safety system has been removed, the rest is fine.

TV doesn't work and nobody cares about it, even though we were there for 5 days and reported it on the first day.
The location is very good.

It's good because it's cheap. The beds are decent, the rooms are tiny and the restrooms were clean. If you're on a budget there's nothing inherently wrong with taking a room there. No one ever cleaned our room in the 4 days we were there, a little more cleaning wouldn't be bad.

A very nice guesthouse with double room without bathroom. The bathrooms are always clean and pleasant to use. Everything very straightforward so check in and check out. 24-hour access with the key issued. Breakfast for 5 euro very good. We had a great time here:)

This hotel has great potentials situated at a strategic place but managed with unproductive staffs. The guy that spoke with us on phone was so rude and arrogant. We spent 5nights but bedsheet was never change. TV was not working, every time you go out and come in you have to sign in again to Wi-Fi. It was a terrible experience. Will never visit again. Poorly managed property.

You should reinvest the money you take! Furniture outdated, run down, Wlan is offered free of charge only the reception is not enough and with the TV it is as it was 20 years ago, one receives only the 3rd channels, which actually nobody voluntarily watches. We have pointed out to the rental, nothing was done. Ask me how those come to 2 stars. Really sad.

Very cheap… but that was it already… if you don't claim much, it's OK. TV works not. Antenna not connected or out of date. Bed.

Spent 5 days in this wonderful place. This is one of the best hostels I have been to. Got room in the second case. Its location is even better than the first one. The second building is located only 100 meters from the Metro, which is very convenient. The hostel itself is only 2 (from the second) and 3x (from the first) Metro stops from Alexander Platz.
The room is spacious, there is heating, TV, wardrobe, table, 2 bedside tables. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.
The 4 rooms have a fridge, microwave and kettle. Also on 4 rooms one toilet and shower. I was lucky with the neighbors, all were not noisy and neat. In the common areas cleaning lady cleaned every day. The room was clean and comfortable. The internet worked just divine.
100% recommend this hostel to everyone familiar.

Centrally located and not far from the "Weber Wiese" subway station (U5 between Alexanderplatz and Hönow).

We stayed with 2 adults. And 2 small children in an apartment house where the pension Reiter apparently rented apartments. The cleanliness of the apartment was OK, which we did not like was the strong smell that lay in the hallway, the very wavy floor in the kitchen and the wall in the kitchen was only hung with a Soff, which were open pipes. Especially for small children not very suitable. To this one had to walk up to the shower 2 steps and there were no grabs, which was not so good for my mother, she came into the chute while getting out of the shower.

Very clean and comfortable, quiet neighborhood walking distance from nightlife.

We would never go back.
Where to start …
-Location: You arrive to the address of the place and at the reception they indicate that it is not there, it is another building …
-Staff: We only agreed with the receptionist the first day, and it was not pleasant. We understand that there can be tiredness, little desire … a lot of factors, but you work face the public and those looks that gave us more the dry answers … very unhelpful.
-Comfort: The bed mattress (of tables) had some games. And the mattress was fine. Result: Back pain during the four days of stay.
-Services: According to the rules of the establishment affixed to the door, the towels are changed every 2 days. We did not have that luck, and with the humidity of Germany … just imagine the result of the towels. The disastrous Wi-Fi connection fell all the time. And the hairdryer announced in its description of the room … it must be if you take your head out of the window, because there was none of that.
-Cleanliness: There were bugs in our room and in the bathroom (I say insects because it seems more polite), dust everywhere furniture, door, towel rack … (Several weeks without cleaning). I doubt that in 4 days go to clean there …

We had booked for the Palisade Street 53 the accommodation and were sent on the day of arrival to a flat-plated apartment, which was 700 meters away — which it rained in streams, for that the guesthouse may be nothing, but the accommodation was extra because of the proximity to the visit So that the distance was even greater. Lousy receptionist who spoke poorly German (no problem, but then at least English), small bathroom for 4 rooms upgraded as hotel rooms — unfortunately, did not suffice to pass the whole rush early; Everything is a bit dirty, unfortunately you also got everything from the neighbors — in short: We unfortunately did not have a good experience with the guesthouse, for that the price was of course favorable.

Nothing like as on the pictures, TV was broken, just one linnen on a double bed, no running water IN the room (should be standard), dirty shower (for the whole block). Pretty disgusting. I rather stay 2 nights in jail! What a rip off!

Clean and allright. Public toilet and showers.

Firstly I have to say that the location is really good (just 3 stops from Alexanderpltz). Really near from the pension, there is a Kebab 24h/7 open what is really important if you are in a hurry or need something.
Secondly the room was spacious and allways clean, besides, the mattress was comfortable. The Staff was really cosy and helpful: the cleaning girl changed our towels every day and cleaned the baths at least twice a day. Also the free Wifi worked great.
100% appealing if you are young and wants a nice place to rest after explore the city!

When we arrived at the hotel the first night our key wasn't in the box so we couldn't enter the hotel. Another host opened us the main door and when we went to our room we saw that there was a couple sleeping there. Their key wasn't also in the box because someone else was sleeping in their room so they took our key. As there was nobody at the reception we have to sleep all together in that room.
In addition, we were leaving the hotel on tuesday, and on monday, when we were having a shower, the cleaning personal took all our clothes and suitcases and put them outside the room because they said we have to leave the hotel that day. We had to talk with the person that was at the reception to aclare the situation and take again all inside the room.
The sistem of the check in was disgusting and also our stay there.
Not recomendable! We will not repeat!

Wifi barely working and breakfast not so good, but the position is great and it's very easy to move all over berlin starting from there and the price is excellent. Quiet place all around.

The location isn't super but it's cheap, the room is clean and tidy. Would stay here again possibly.

The town board of the small but beautiful! A place highly recommended for people who are looking for a clean and affordable accommodation. The room was small but well furnished and clean. Alexanderplatz square is just a few metro stops years, the bus stop is nearby. The breakfast buffet was good and sufficient. The pension is located in a "neighborhood" in which it is also possible to move safely during the night. On a subsequent visit to Berlin, you will return to the board. Giulio.

Ich hatte online für drei Nächte reserviert und musste bei Ankunft für alle Nächte im Voraus bezahlen. Ich bekam den Schlüssel so, ohne Besichtigung (die ich auch nicht spezifisch verlangte). Mein "Zimmer" war gerade zwischen Dusche und Treppenhaus hatte sehr dünne Wände und roch "komisch". Deshalb wollte ich gleich wieder runter, um ein anderes zu bekommen. Leider war aber schon niemand mehr beim Empfang, da ich um ca. 22h anscheinend der letzte Gast war. Am nächsten Tag wollte ich daher auschecken und mein Geld mindestens für die dritte Nacht zurück (da dies ja ein Tag im Voraus war). Die Angestellte gab mir aber recht unhöflich zu verstehen, dass ich das einbezahlte Geld nicht mehr bekäme. Da das verlorene Geld aber das kleinere Übel war als zwei weitere Nächte dort zu verbringen, habe ich zum Glück eine andere Unterkunft gesucht — wovon es in der Nähe sehr schöne hat.

Very (! ) inexpensive but not cheap. Filthy shared toilet in a converted Plattenbauwohnung, 650 m from the Hotel away. Never again.

Actually, OK, I then found that, apparently, bed bugs were in the room.

Had booked we 2EZ in the guest house with Breakfast. Got 2 EZ in a Plattenbauwohnung, which was rebuilt in 6 Minizimmern, with shared bathroom. This was totally versifft and only with very great effort usable, because after all, 36*. Sleep was also not to speak, because the rest of the "roommate" all night real Duschorgien celebrated. The wall of my room was so thin that it was so as if right next to my bed showered. Particularly disgusting was the fact that they also all bathroom acoustically had to follow. The Breakfast was on time and very manageable. Conclusion: Never again u any further zuempfehlen.

Top location, top price! City hotel Reiter is a both cosy and very comfortable hotel. It's mordern and services are in top. Hotel lies is the best part of Berlin near Alexanderplace! Friendly service, very good transport connections. We will be back next year together with our childrens.
