For a short night the hotel was fine. The hotel is an old building and therefore very bright. The single room was accordingly spacious with high ceilings.

Shower was leaking, a lamp was missing over the mirror and the cables were freely accessible, only secured with clamps. Due to the proximity to Schlossstraße (5 minutes to the subway, then 2 stations) but very well located, for those who do not want long distances. All in all, sufficient if it is only a matter of staying overnight. But not enough power for the price.

We loved it, the location is convenient, breakfast is very generous, room was spacious! The hostess with very positive energetic, full of life! Definitely will stay again and again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Omg I am sitting in my room thinking what did I do wrong in my life… why did I end up in a $hithole like that. Service flopp, room flopp, bed flopp, privacy flopp. €65 a night and you have to share the bathroom and shower with god knows how many are on my floor. I can hear the argument of my next door neighbour. The next few days of my life will be hell. Aaaaagghhhhhhhhhhh.

Small rooms. Staff don't speak much English. Low priced, and so not many facilities. Staff can be a bit gruff!

The rooms have been newly renovated and look much nicer, more modern. Very clean. Price is acceptable what very good. Free parking is available.

Nice hotel, great area. A huge cozy room with a balcony for two. The S-Bahn is easily accessible from the city centre with its main attractions.

We stayed here for two nights and were very pleased. The rooms are newly renovated and modern. The service was great, the team is very friendly and helpful. Free parking is available.

Was now in this guesthouse for the second time. The rooms have been newly renovated and look much friendlier, more modern. Price/performance optimal. Breakfast delicious, parking available.

Extremely rude at the reception. Does not apply to all employees. Otherwise renovation necessary. Is probably done at the moment, at least stacked tiles and laminate in the reception area indicate this. Toilet and shower are in the hallway, not in the room. Two rooms per floor. If you want to charge your mobile phone and watch some TV, it is advisable to take a three compartment socket with you.

This guesthouse is highly recommended. Which does not look surprising from the outside but from the inside. Very clean and inexpensive. For me this is the first point of contact when I am travelling professionally in Berlin.

On New Year's Eve we made Berlin unsafe and slept here. Everything was clean and tidy.

I don't know who writes here, I have stayed here several times and was always satisfied.

A simple hotel for a reasonable price!
The comfort double room with private bathroom for €80 is quite fine.

Included in the price and offers everything you need. (sausage, eggs, fresh rolls, coffee, honey, jam, juices and tea…

I know the new and the old rooms — the new ones are all right, which I can recommend.

All in all it was okay. Don't understand the bad reviews. It's a Einsternhotel.

The place is really nice for spending a weekend maybe, but not more, for the price it offers a really good breakfast option. The attention however is not great on the staff side.

The place is ok for a B&B. The lady in reception was very helpful. The room is spacious and clean. No private car park but you can easily park along the street. No elevator so it's not good if you have a lot of luggages. Breakfast is just ok — continental only no cooked food.

Stayed there twice. First time the room was really basic and not renovated. Second time the room was in top shape, nicely renovated and maintained.

I was in the hotel from 25.11 — 28.11.2016! From the room to breakfast, my rating is just horrible! This can only be used for an asylum seeker's home and there would still have to be a lot of renovation! The guesthouse next to Ballermann would be ok. But sober not to bear!

The room did not look like on the homepage, the bathroom was cold and dirty and the staff was not very friendly.

The room equipment was old and habitual. The communal bathroom in the hallway was in great need of renovation and a real imposition. Unfortunately, the hotel cannot recommend it at all. Only the breakfast was quite ok.

The rooms I was in looked nothing like the photos on their website, the employees speak minimal English and surprisingly little German. There was no bathroom in the room like, but shared on the floor and it was rather old and dirty with funny smells coming from the drain.

Very easy to set up, in the room and bathroom starker (! ) Smell of smoke. Fast Internet. Breakfast ok. According to the homepage 3 star hotel, reality does not do justice the claim.

According to the Internet, really chic rooms, the reality is different. Dirty Make u gauges, cables on the walls, down slopes, The staff rarely get to face, to ask there is no friendly response. Dirty walls, cold and dirty shower and Toilet rooms, Ersatzeinziehdecken are dingy, hot water comes after 5 minutes u heaters do not work. Especially in the shower, where ever the window is open is not great.

Beautiful, lovingly furnished Guesthouse in a good location, I felt so much at home.

Three nights in December 2014. I was after three years of time to reflect in my old house and have this almost no longer be detected again. Really chic.

Instead of being friendly and polite to be greeted, I was to receive snapped at; even after an obvious mistake has turned out to be, there was no excuse. Water heater in the room provided no hot water, soap both in the room, as well as the hallway-toilet (! ) does not exist. There was a TV (but not all of the Standard channels), an adventurous Stromverkabelung. Although clean, but everything is clearly below Standard. Breakfast ok, aufgebackene bread rolls from the day before were also there. For the price you should not expect much more. If the Hotel has nothing else to offer, you should at least kindness can expect.

About what you would expect for the price. They have wireless internet, but it is not possible to connect, seemingly because the authentification certificate from their provider is falsified. Front desk seems to be occupied less often than not, with no night staff and day staff often disappearing elsewhere. Looks better in their website pictures than in reality. Much of the pension looks cobbled together (e. G. Hallways have a drop ceiling with styrofoam panels). I had to kill one ladybug flying around the room in the one night I stayed there.

Hotel first quieter than expected. Owner responded (due to late arrival, but was announced? ) first of all not on the doorbells. Only a phone call managed to remedy the situation. Rooms are in different floors: rooms are clean, bed with a reasonable length, small TV, washroom, shower and toilet with two towels. Toilet only (! ) small on the Gang, but is clean. Amenities such as your own fridge and a Bar are missing, for 30€ but also did not expect. Sometimes rushing water and Traffic, but what makes me not bothered. Breakfast unfortunately not experienced, but seemed quite appropriate. All in all, a fair price for a Hotel, which, however, far from the city centre. Who in Berlin would like to celebrate, you should prefer a Hotel close to the town centre. Those, however, who at the Free University (very close) or to the U. S. Embassy and stay low, you should take a second look at this Hotel throw. ATTENTION: if you from here to the U. S. Embassy would like to either with the bus connections, familiar or fairly good walk. The way to the U. S. Embassy takes to walk about 30-40 minutes, if one of the main roads follows. Walk from the S-Bahn station Lichtenfelde West: From the train station, the stairs up to the Knesebeck-street (here to the left. (this bends right). Knesebeck-street (up to the end of follow (up to the two-lane "Under the oaks").
