Very good apartment hotel, very friendly reception and the apartments are fantastic. I highly recommend it if you go to Berlin for several weeks worth it and the Am Friedrichshain area is great.

Awful stay! 0 hospitality! not clean! crazy slow internet connection, I called 3 times and they just ignored me. Service is bad, no luggage handlers, no welcome drink… not even a glass of water after 7 hours trip! And after all of that they steal 30 euros from me by adding non-existent order to my bills! I had no time to revise it bcs I was late to airplane… DONT GO THERE EVER!

We liked the Victor's Residenz Hotel in Berlin very much. The price — performance ratio was good. The connection to the city was no problem, staff very friendly. Breakfast offer very good, restaurant we did not visit. The bar has been open for a long time so that we could have a "sleeping drink" after a busy day.

Careful summer travellers! No AC in the room. It was hotter than in my country (Spain). Reception Staff not the happiest you could find. Breakfast the best. Quiet well located, bus 200 drives you everywhere.

Goods for 2 nights there, everything was excellent. Be it the service, the food or other. The only small thing that might be better is that something could be modernised. It's just a matter of taste. In any case we will be back! Best regards, Family Kaiser.

A pleasant hotel in a quiet area next to the park. Friendly staff. There is a patio. In good weather it is nice to sit there with a glass.

Very nice hotel with very nice courtyard where you can sit, eat and drink comfortably. The rooms are very well equipped and meticulously clean. We had a junior suite that was facing the street, with the rooms to the courtyard sure to be quieter.
The breakfast was very good and rich.
The staff is highly motivated and always very friendly and helpful.
If Berlin again, it's only in the Victors.

This was our third visit to the hotel and as ever it was all really good. The staff were most welcoming, courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean in the public rooms and the housekeeping service in the bedroom as well. As we do not speak German it was really helpful that many spoke really good English. The location of the hotel is perfect — off the main roads, and quiet and opposite a beautiful park. Bus and trams are very close by. Superb breakfast and also very good evening meals, reasonably priced, in the restaurant. Even the gardener apologised when we were in the courtyard after a late breakfast and he needed to mow the lawns. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely come again.

Excellent hotel in prime conditions, as you would expect in its category. It's located in a central, yet quiet neighborhood; adjacent to a park our room faced only trees and open space, no other building in sight. I've found the breakfast buffet acceptable, but somewhat subpar for hotels in this cetegory and price range. I was fairly disappointed by how the parking fee was presented to me and charged. In many years traveling around the world, I've hardly felt I've been tricked into a hidden charge without a choice to opt out: at check-in I was invited to settle the whole bill to avoid lining up in the morning — which implied I was either not charged for parking or it was included. Only a moment before leaving the garage I was presented with an unusually steep parking fee.

The breakfast buffet is noteworthy, really rich and able to satisfy every taste, sweet or salty that it is.

This is an excellent mid-price-range hotel. It's a little bit dated in some ways (e. G. Physical keys on large keyring weights), but it has a nice building, spacious rooms, and a good breakfast buffet. I'd definitely stay there again if I had another reason to stay in that neighborhood, and I might even stay again and tolerate a bit of commuting to where I needed to be. The location isn't particularly central, although it's near a tram line and near a pretty nice park. There was a bit of street noise from the street-facing rooms (and mine was facing the side street to the west of the hotel although close to the corner with the main street), but it looks like half the rooms face the interior courtyard which I would expect to be quieter. The Wi-Fi was good, there were good sized storage cabinets for clothes and a good-sized safe for a laptop. The hotel honored the "do not disturb" sign and didn't clean my room for my entire stay, as I preferred. The Wi-Fi worked fine, although it wasn't super-fast, and it required me to log in once or twice a day on each device.

The hotel is quite tidy but the last few times it was not nice in a suite the noise from the lobby was audible until at 1 pm. The second time was missing the complete kitchen that living room was closed no housebar was all booked and not since the breakfast was great. The hotel has a good location.

Staff was efficient, friendly, and always helpful. Rooms and hotel very clean. Food was excellent. I would stay there again. Also located near bus and trams stops which are a must in Berlin.

This hotel is the best hotel I have ever visited during my trip to Europe, where it has the following: The best design fits the country tradition — the room is very comfortable — the bed is very comfortable, the bathrooms are very well organized and clean, and the room service works perfectly, safely and nicely. The restaurant is very tasty and treated wonderful, the hospitality in general is very welcoming and should not forget, of course, that the most beautiful smile is a welcome you find at the reception staff super beauty.

Comfortable hotel in the Friedrichshain area. Very quiet area adjacent to the park.

Very good location and great hotel but the beds are like a trampoline. Hard without adjusting the body shape and you can feel every movement of the partner in your sleep. When a person quickly puts himself in bed, it is a stand-up help for the other person. Except for the bad sleep, the hotel is recommended.

Excellent hotel, room, staff, breakfast and service. Not the cheapest in town but still good value. Handy for tram too, although also in good location for walking. I will try to stay here again whenever back in Berlin, many thanks.

Service was good, staff very friendly.
The toilets in the basement are terribly stunk. Not really that bad when it's half a day and the problem is fixed. However, it stank during my entire stay. That was four days. There was no improvement in sight at the demolition.

Love this hotel great location easy transport to Christmas markets nice food and good value. Staff very helpful and speak great English. Always clean and fresh. Only down side was no coffee in rooms or corridor. Noise from Street OK for us. Would book again without hesitation. Local Aldi useful if you're on a budget.

We had a wonderful time here. The staff were helpful and always there to ask. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with lots of different options. The room was large, the bed was really comfy and the shower had plenty of pressure. The location was perfect for visiting Berlin, a bus stop outside, a tram stop just down the road or a 15-20 minute walk if the weather was nice. Great hotel, fabulous staff and a great atmosphere.

The location of the hotel is ideal you need to walk 10 min to Alexanderplatz and with the bus stop directly in front of the hotel you are in the shortest time in the centre. It was a good hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the hotel has its own bike rental and a very nice courtyard. Also, it is very quiet in the rooms although you live right next to a main street. The only drawback is that some rooms have a balcony and some are not and one is assigned to one. A room with a balcony costs just as much as one without. When we asked if we could have one with a balcony, we were retorting that this is unfortunately not possible.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and come back again.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area.
A few metres away there is a bus stop. In the hotel you can buy tickets for a bus ride or for the whole day, it is very easy to get around from there. The staff at the front desk will explain the routes you can take. Back the bus leaves you in front of the hotel. You can also walk to Alexanderplatz, it's nearby.
The facilities are not modern or large, but if tranquility is your priority it may be a good option. My experience was during the winter and I would definitely go back.

Booked for a three night stay and I can't find a thing to fault. My room was on the courtyard side, and was quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful — when I asked for an extra pillow, I found two had been put in my room!
Food was excellent — wide choice at breakfast, and I found myself not needing to eat much during the day. I ate in the restaurant on two evenings and the food was exceptionally good — on both occasions, I went for the daily specials and was not disappointed.
The only improvement I can suggest is tea/coffee in the rooms or, like there is on the second floor for cold drinks and snacks, perhaps a lobby based vending machine? Otherwise, highly recommended and if I return to Berlin, I hope to return to Victor's too!

Good hotel close to Alexanderplatz. Beds sleep well. Bathroom spacious. We got a room in the back and it was very quiet. Staff verg helpfull. There is one setback, they charge 12 Euro for high speed internet. It is 2017, this is a practice from 10 years ago. Drop the charge, it would have cost us 48 euro, which is more than a monthly subscription from any provider.

This was the fourth time I've stayed at VRH. I continue to love the hotel's location, size of the rooms, cleanliness, and overall service. As someone who is accustomed to air conditioning, though, the lack of it during the hot summer months can be challenging. Luckily, during my last stay, my request to move to a quieter room that was not facing the street (and thereby keep the window open), was accommodated, so the issue was resolved.

Loved the location of the hotel. The aesthetic beauty of the hotel & around is very nice. You will find park to spend time which is other side of the road. There is open space to sit and have food.

I greatly enjoyed my stay, particularly the classic keys (no digital nonsense) and the lack of extra charges for small stuff. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was good. I missed a minibar in the room, where I could get cold beverage or put my own beverage to keep it cool, and I — very much — missed coffee in the room or at least the hallway. I'd come back for the 2018 halfmarathon. 4.5/5.

Quiet neighbourhood, in front of a large park. In two steps you reach the 200 bus stop and in five minutes you are at Alexander Platz. Although not really brand new, the rooms are spacious and so is the bathroom too. Great breakfast buffet. The staff Four stars you deserve.

The hotel is well located and generally comfortable. However, they seem to have a 'one pillow per guest when the hotel is full' policy which is irritating. We've stayed here twice before without a problem but on this occasion there was a noise issue. There is loud music playing from somewhere local of which only the bass is audible, and this is obvious a lot of the time, including well into the night. While I understand that the hotel can't control noise in the environment, this means we'll be unlikely to return at a time of year when windows need to remain open at night.

Hotel in quiet location, but well connected to Bus 200 and M4 tram. Our room faced the Friedrichshain Park. I would rank the hotel 3 star rather than 4 star. Room was large and airy with full height window, with separate entrance vestibule containing a large cupboard and entrance to large shower/toilet room. Breakfast very good in room overlooking a courtyard with tables and chairs, presumably used in summer. Two slightly minor points: missed a tea/coffee facility in the room. Ventilation of bathroom could have been more effective.

I stayed as a couple in this hotel and it is many hard to find anything that's not okay! The hotel is situated in a central location and for lazy people the Centre can be reached within a few minutes by bus 200, the stop is located in front of the hotel. Impeccable detail (room with wooden benches very delicious), very friendly staff and excellent breakfast! Wouldn't stay again!

I absolutely loved every second of my day here! The people at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was wonderful, free Wi-Fi, and a great buffet breakfast in the mornings. The best part was the night before we were leaving we were getting help with bus info to get to the airport since we had to leave at 4am, the person told us exactly how to get there (tram and bus) and then offered us a lunchbox since we wouldn't be able to attend breakfast the next morning. We were all amazed by this offer, that might I also add was free! Long story short, thank you very much for making my stay in Berlin just that much better!

We, the crazy chaotic running group say "Thank you very much" for a wonderful, carefree and great Berlin Marathon weekend at Victor's Residenz-Hotel Berlin. Everything the runner's heart was in a round-the-world package.
Worry-free check in, quiet large super equipped rooms, wonderful breakfast buffet (ideal for us runners), great restaurant for the carboloading evening before and not to forget the bar to celebrate afterwards.
Of course, the ideal location at the Volkspark Friedrichshain is to be mentioned, which we use for a last run-in the day before.
Once again a big thank you to the whole team, who fulfilled every wish with a smile and thank you also for the little surprise.
The Victor's running cloths are now our personal lucky charms in wind and weather, whether training or in competition. The first "operation" at the weekend on 42, 195km was very successful. We all made it to the finish in a healthy and cheerful way.
Until next year at the 43rd Berlin Marathon. :-)

Good hotel and very helpful staff (rather 3 than 4 stars), but the supposedly quiet, beautiful inner courtyard is really loud if there's a wedding or similar. Only very limited recommended.
