2A Hostel Hostel

The receptionist were all very nice, but my room wasn't. I could hardly sleep because of the construction work 'till 12 pm and the trainstation right in front of my window.

2A Hostel is a nice, modern and clean hostel. The free Wi-Fi is great and so far haven't had any issues with it. The check-in process was very smooth and our private room was equipped with comfortable bunk beds with nice linen and a good quality blanket. If I have anything that I would point out as a negative it would be the added cost for using towels, many other cheaper and similarly priced places offer towels by default but this is a pretty minor concern for most people as they were only 3€ (+ a refundable 5€ deposit). The bar is exceptionally good value with a nice cold beer for 1, 50€ and long drinks for around 3€, not the absolute cheapest but certainly a lot cheaper than going out to some places across Berlin. Overall a great place.

Nice staff, but you have to wait a quarter of an hour at the bar to get something to drink. You can go down stairs from the individual floors, but to get up you have to use the elevator, which needs a lot of location to get to the lobby. You can't open the windows in the rooms, you can only tip, which can be very annoying in the summer. For this, however, you get one fan per room or two fans for multiple rooms.

Super clean! Would go back here at any time. Very cosy breakfast room, also with a garden, where you can also sit together as a group in the evening and order drinks from the bar. We had brought food ourselves and even got dishes provided. Again, everything is squeaky clean. Many grocery stores, doner shops, beautiful beer garden etc. Ums Eck. The only shortcoming: Right at the railway station, therefore very loud, better take earplugs with you. Since cleanliness is my top criterion I would book here again!

Very friendly and professional, it's a hostel, so you don't have to expect a luxury treat, but as a hostel it's good.

Great hostel. Right near s bahn. 30 to Alexander platz from this place. All time bar is also a great thing. Rooms are clean. Recommend!

Simply perfect. Great hospitality and professionals staff. The position is perfect to reach every point of interest of Berlin thank to public transport.

Very clean and modern Accommodation, which also offers plenty of Space and Space for Groups of Pupils. Very friendly Staff at the Reception and in the Area of the Bar & Kitchen, where delicious and high-quality Food is offered. For Teachers, the Night Service is also a great Relief. The Location of the Hostel, which is located directly opposite the S-Bahn station (Ring railway S4onably 42), is also Advantageous. We would come back anytime!

Very nice hostel close to Neukõlln metro station. Nice and clean rooms with individual lockers and all equiped washrooms. Extra star for the hospitality of staff and the variaty of options for breakfast.

We were at the hostel for one night. It's easy to reach an in an from there you can easily reach the main attractions. The check-in was fast and professional, the room, a 8 person dorm was clean, but a bit loud and warm, due to the closed windows, to keep the noise of the S-Bahn Station Out. The bathroom is inside the room, clean but due to its position in the room a bit loud. The breakfast for 6.5€ was ok, nothing special. Overall a good hostel.

Clean and tidy. Short walk to Subway, shops and lots of snacks in the immediate vicinity.

We stayed here since we visited Ila. The hostel was convenient but adequately furnished and the staff was nice. At night it was a bit noisy as our window pointed directly at the Neukölln train station. In addition, our departure was delayed by 45 minutes, as the staff had swapped our cards with others and thought we had not delivered our room tickets. That was very annoying. In principle, the hostel is suitable for a stay for a day or two.

Staff nice and friendly but the hostel is not as clean and cool as in the pictures! Trains travel all night, and bed linen that was booked, we had only in the 2nd night…

For a hostel super, was booked for me, it's not what I would book myself. If you book on time you will certainly get a double room with breakfast for two nights for €180 in a chic hotel. The area is not the hit. Everything looks pretty new, no mold in the bathroom.

Beware of Rip Off! Wear parts (e. G. Rubber from the mattress schooner or a shower hose) are deducted from the deposit. After only one night, a tube is not porous! I never see anyone in this House again.

The rooms are unclean there is no good service the street in front of the building is unsafe.

If you want to sleep well and meet nice people, cook your own food with them and have normally conversation-choose another hostel. I had room with strange people. Really bad smell inside and they shut windows all the time in the night. Breakfast really expensive. Rooms are clean and localisation is ok.

The room was clean, the staff very friendly and the prices reasonable and fair. Our first choice for the next visit to Berlin.

Room clean, staff without exception friendly and helpful, breakfast for 6, 50 euro perfectly satisfactory. W-Lan impeccable, lockers with room card lockable, all tiptop.

Nice hostel. Almost hotel like facilities. In fact better than some hotels. Food and alcohol not allowed inside but there is bar and breakfast facility which is very good and cost effective.

Very nice hostel. One of the best you could find. Comparable to hotels in facility. In fact, better in some cases. 24 hours reception facility. Bar is open around the clock and is inexpensive.

I slept in the 4-bed room and I liked it. Clean rooms and very nice and polite staff.

We were a group of 100 medical students, staying in this hostel for 3 nights. The hostel didn't provide us the basic needs, like hot water and heating in our rooms. Besides, the manager was a ghost, we never met him, he didn't answer our calls or returned our calls. We have been waiting for him for 1h and 30 minutes, and he still didn't show up. Very bad conditions! TO BE AVOIDED!

Worse experience ever! The hot water, in 3 days of accomodation, was available for about 1 hour. Nobody answered to complaints and the manager refused to talk to us in order to solve the problems.

Very good and modern place. You kind of feel like you are staying at hotel. Location is great, you are juts next to S Bahd and Metro. There are many place to eat (even lane night) and a big supermarket. Rooms don’t have kitchen so you are not able to cook at Hostel. You can spend your day inside at the cafe area. It is nice and good way to know other people. Hostel is very clean. They are cleaning daily! If you want breakfast you need to pay extra.

Very and friendly reception and gave me rooms where it was already all occupied dan it was called yes came that was someone's place genome. Good hostel reception OK and especially cleanliness.

If you are a light sleeper I don't recommend you stay here, practically on top of subway/S Bahn. As someone also mentioned it's not a very inviting hostel, would probably not recommend for solo travellers. Shower blocked in the morning, mentioned it to reception on checkout, they didn't really seem to care. Very hot in rooms in late September and no air conditioning/ventilation.

One of the most affordable places to stay in Berlin in the area of Neukölln, do not worry, Germans you will not meet there, but there is a very tasty shawarma. Periodically the locals beat the bottles and tear the urns off the poles. The hostel is quite clean except the kitchen which is in the basement. But there is an atmosphere reminiscent of the beginning of the movie Star Wars Episode 1.

A simple Hostel, but with a nice bar, nice breakfast, the room/bathroom we got was wheelchair accessible too so we had no problem with our disabled friend during our stay. The stuff was really friendly too.

Breakfast is terrible, there is hardly choice and for a simple orangejuice you have pay €2 euro extra. Therefore I wanted to have breakfast outside but I could not even get my money back. Wich makes no sence because if like you can book a breakfast the same morning too. Bad service!

Great place. Near the metro. My room was right next the Sban. I slept well no problem. The amenities are great. They have parking, free but they might charge.

U know this place is nice. But u have rail way under your window. So u will hear trains and sometimes drunk guys. But it's not disturb as much as can. On the other hand location is really good to stay. The next trouble is that rooms haven't air condition. And I've no idea how it possible to stay here during the summer. Also u can't normally​ open the windows. So if u stay as a group it will be really hard to stay here. Really! Check out pictures I added. The breakfast here costs 6.5 euro and it's nothing to eat. I highly recommend visit some places around and u will get good stuff for this money. So it's ok to stay here but with some exceptions. If I would find free rooms in other places for this period I wouldn't stay here. Good luck. Berlin is amazing.

Cheap drinks at the bar, but located in a spot out of the tourists and more in with the grungy Berlin life outside the popular areas. Wifi isn't free all the time. Alright but not my favourite place.

Very nice hostel. Only issues I've had was the dorm had on suit which was a pain in the morning and the room got really hot.

I the hostel really miss the beds too hard and the room was not clean.

Wouldn't recommend using this hostel. The air was stuffy and with a few people in the room it starts to smell bad. Also the Wi-Fi is very slow and after the initial few hours they are charging for it.

Great youth hostel! Clean and comfortable.

If you want something clean and sterile, with strict rules, you've got it. Wifi was bad, and to get online you need a special timed code which expires after a certain number of hours. After extending my stay they would only give me one hour tickets at a time. Locker/room key card stopped working 15 minutes before check out time. Staff were not that helpful. The street felt a bit sketchy, but I was fine. Right next to the metro, but far from the tourist sights and train stations. Neukölln is actually a cool alternative neighbourhood with some great bars though (especially on Westerstraße).

I am scwerbeschädigt and asked from an emergency situation out in the hostel to use a toilet. The use of a toilet was denied me rude and baseless. It is not helpful that I can weterempfehlen by a city like berlin. Here, action is required.

Very great value for money. Nice, simple and modern hostel. Friendly staff. Well suited for young people. Having the subway station right next to was handy, but it could be a bit noisy though. I would definitely return.

Super good hostel. Very very nice service. Accommodates every request. Price/performance is top. Rooms are neat, clean and tidy. Very good location by the S-Bahn connection. Only to recommend. We come back.

Very nice place. Looks better on the inside. Very helpful staff. Right next to public transportation train (not Eurail), but very fast and easy to get to where you need to go. Right now, there's some construction on the street, so it can be loud during the day, but not hostel's fault. Safe, new, comfortable.

I stayed in a lot of hostels and this one was definetly the best one I stayed at so far! The staff is very friendly and always try to help. Really good price and value for money. This hostel is more like a hotel than a hostel, the rooms and even the bathroom have floor heating! The showers are great and the beds are really comfortable. And the fact that they have a guest kitchen, was perfect. The connection to the city centre with public transport is great. I felt like home and will come back — for sure.
