AZUR Camping Regensburg Campground

Very good place for rest and eat with family. Enough space for parking camper vans. Near to this camping is Donau Park (beautiful park)

Go if you like: — Nice secluded tent area. Lots of cycle tourers pass through here — Clean facilities — Showers and Wi-Fi included — Passive smoking. On the rare occasion the owner was in reception he was puffing cigarettes. — Zero eye contact. The owner kept things brief. — Curtain twitching from mobile home owners. They suspicious of the outside world. One woman openly stared for 20 minutes for no apparent reason.

Nice place for family vacay. Near overall attraction at Regensburg.

We camped there for the night in march. We arrived late at night but we were able to connect to electricity. Very nice bathrooms and facilities.

Unfortunately no direct access to the river.
We were there for 4 days, actually just to stay or As a starting point for day activities.

A good three kilometres from the centre in Regensburg. By bike you can travel very nicely along the Danube on a bike path into the city. The course itself lies a good 100 meters from the Danube. Large pitches. Clean sanitary facilities. But not cheap. Very friendly staff.

Place is right on the highway and is therefore very noisy. Sanitary facilities are unclean and have come into the years. Condition is generally insufficient. The shop at registration is not worth mentioning and the offer is very clear. The groundskeeper is the rudeness in person. Because we stood upside down on the pitch and did not want to turn around in the pouring rain, he threatened directly with a place reference. Impossible behavior towards its guests!
The city of Regensburg and its surroundings is highly recommended and beautiful.

This camping is very expensive, perhaps +50% more expensive than an average German camping. It was also very crowded. Anyway, something positive: they speak English.

We were by the 8 11.5.2016 on the square and were thrilled. Bread service, friendly reception, very clean sanitary facilities. Bus stop in front of the camping. With the bicycle in 15 minutes at the Cathedral. Located directly on the Danube bike trail. New tenants since early April 2016. Ordinary, every day well attended gastronomy on the square.
Only downside, 30. — € for 2 people inc. Mobile home, that's why only 4 stars.

The older rating no longer apply. The owners are extremely friendly and dedicated. The plumbing is not highly, but acceptable, above all, very clean and good tempered. The pitches are part plant and solid, the grass is maintained, there are no moles. Rolls and needs of daily life is to get at the reception and neatly sorted. I don't know whether the authors of the other reviews, my the same place. Today, we have encountered a place with neat and clean toilets and friendly staff. The sanitary facilities look like limestone cave. In December, there are still the autumn Leaves cm thick on top of our Parking space. The reception is open only 2 times an hour occupied. The place is pretty nice on the Danube — in front of it runs a regular bus service into the old town, so very good connections — the motorway is almost at the place over (slight background noise). No advice from the staff about the non-existent sale at Check in — then you could possibly on the eve of something can get. All in all, not very friendly!

Absolutely terrible. Rude service. A guy followed us tapping his watch for us to hurry up putting our tent up and move the car. Restaurant ripped us off too. Unfriendly. Dusty unmaintained pitches. And really expensive with no electricity for tents. Avoid this place.

An absolutely useless Camperwiese, pure ground, and where grass, uneven surfaces, or nettles. In addition, the ünverschämte price of 18, 50€! per Person and per tent for a night. Since I sleep Yes in pensions, cheaper, better, and war, even a Breakfast.

Parking is too expensive for only one night, staff unfriendly, felt disturbed with questions Sanitary facilities very easy! No separation between a man and a woman.

Minus: places are very small, toilet facilities should be cleaned, toilets are dirty, the place is too expensive, Baguettebrötchen as from the discounters and too expensive. Plus: close to town, staff very friendly.

Beautiful Camping right on the Danube, sanitation, simple but ok. To place any amount of love hare. Well-developed bike paths, and Regensburg Walhalla easy bike ride away. Bus stop in front of the house, we liked.

OK, but not worth the 50 Euro+ we paid for one night. Place is a bit out-dated and could need some fresh-up.

One of the worst campsites we've stayed on in over 50 years. Unfriendly reception, overpriced, scruffy pitches and a complete disregard for safety. The campsite tried to park other motorhomes less than 1 metre away from us and other residents despite the fact that there was plenty of space in other parts of the campsite. We love Germany but we will not return to Azur Camping!

Pretty OK & clean. Too much money for a camp-site like this though. Dont go to the camping-restaurant. They charge 13 euros for microwave-steaks, but the bums gathering there every night is somewhat amusing.
