Friendly, clean, new rooms. Very nice staff. More than enough breakfast. Dog friendly. We stayed in the guesthouse.

I liked it here. It is a visibly old building, and some things also seem a little worn out. I had a large room with a modern bathroom; The restaurant at the bottom of the house is also highly recommended if you like the good German cuisine. The value for money fits; The staff is friendly and accommodating.

The hotel looks a bit old from the inside. The rooms are of the same standard. Could everything be a little more modern. There is also a small parking lot for 4 vehicles just behind the house. An 18th house. There are other parking spaces opposite the hotel. Breakfast is good. The location about 150 meters from the pedestrian zone is awesome.

Parking situation a disaster and hard to find. WLAN very weak and constant connection crashes. Hair in the bathroom from the pretenant?. Room quite ok but without charm. Room amenities of cheap standard hotel furniture.

A year-old establishment with a renovation jam on a busy street. The décor reminds of the 70s with a mix between the Golden Twenties and the standard of the present day. The restaurant is dominated by rustic oak furniture.
The bathroom, however, is modern and functional.
The double beds are equipped with two soft mattresses that drift apart without any surrounding frames.
Craftsmen work from 8:00 a. M. On Saturday.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is sufficient and versatile.
Overall, the price-performance ratio is right.

Breakfast great but the rest rather not. We have booked 2 economy rooms 7m Internet they looked quite nice but it was too. The furnishings old and very used. Setting rather gloomy and not inviting. Wallpaper has very high signs of use and in the shower everything could be done again. Broken shower head + hose Light shimmer behind the silicone joints.

Nice, family-run hotel right in the city centre of Hofer. All major stores are within walking distance. However, there are very few parking spaces.

Traditional house in Hof. The hotel Strauss is probably one of the most centrally located hotels in Hof. The kitchen is absolutely recommended.

Nice cozy place. The rooms are clean but internet was week in the room that we were staying in. Ther were lots of spiders on the room windows. I guess this is normal in Germany. It is pretty good for a 3 star hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Historic charm, but not for good. Also the Wi-Fi is receiving not over all given.

The rooms are fine and decorated in modern style. The rest of the ambience, the Breakfast and the Service at the reception, however, are not convincing. Who only a place for Sleeping searches is here in good hands, otherwise I would during the next visit in the courtyard of another Hotel looking for.

Purely as a Restaurant, is one of the best places in and around Hof, even if the facility may be something traditionally works.

Hotel and Breakfast are ok and recommended.
