A quaint hotel a bit outside Bayreuth! GREAT service although the rooms are a bit on dated side and cleaning not the most thorough. Price slightly high but the decor is almost worth it.

The nearby location above Bayreuth is very nice. The hotel consists of individual, but already very old guest houses with equally old interior design. A small swimming pool is housed in a house. Parking is sufficient. The hotel also scores with small shady resting places in the vicinity of the houses. In the festive season, the price-performance ratio is too high at 290 €, but there are always enough rest-ridder and cash-rich older guests. Merkel chooses this hotel every year, because she can stay here almost invisibly.
