Friendly service, nice atmosphere, good food.

I was very happy because the staff is very child-friendly and we have caused a lot of chaos with our 3 boys. The food was very tasty and the surrounding very friendly and cozy furnished.

I have always liked this restaurant including the new operators. Menu selection great aswell as tasty and all taste catered for. Very well done.

This inn is one of the best refreshments in the Bavarian foothills. A balanced menu, peppered with a variety of Southern German specialities, both in terms of fish or meat. Especially recommended is the pork shake, crispy and delicious. Delicious desserts and various cake variations round off the very positive overall impression. The staff is friendly and attentive. There are no wishes left unfulfilled and hungry no one leaves this inn. Verdict: Particularly recommended.

I celebrated my 80th birthday in this beautiful Bavarian inn. Thanks to the great organization, the very good food and the dear service Gabi it became a beautiful celebration that my guests and I liked. Sixtus Pfaller.

We often go on holiday in Murnau and the surrounding area and every time we go to eat at least once in the "star". A must. Really quaint, yet upscale. Typical Bavarian specialities, as well as exceptional and seasonal dishes, can be eaten here. The Martinsgans club, for example, is a dream. But it's really all delicious. Very nice, courteous and attentive operations complete the whole thing. In front of the house there is a large parking lot and you can get to the restaurant on the ground floor, suitable for wheelchair users. In order to get to the toilets, however, you have to climb down a few stairs. I highly recommend the star. Every time I feel welcome again and look forward to the delicious food.

Rooms are very small. When showering, the whole bathroom is underwater. Breakfast is quite sparse. But the food from the menu can only be recommended. Delicious.

A quaint, Bavarian restaurant, no better an inn. The landlord, Bruno, has found his calling here. The restaurant has several rooms and a central dining room with a regular table. This is used by locals. The staff changes over and over again at great intervals but is always well suited to the restaurant. It is a tradition-rich house with history. The dishes are Bavarian, Bavarian is not at all. More on the menu of this restaurant's website. A gem of many is among others. The Chestnut-tree beer garden.

An institution in Oberhausen, always friendly service and good Bavarian cuisine, prices reasonable.

Yesterday we were at the inn to the stern and ate Schweinsschäuferl and Schweinemedalion with Chanterelles, both were excellent. The waitresses were very friendly and we were also served quickly.

We were 6 people came spontaneously without a reservation for dinner Although the room was a large wedding our food and drinks came quickly. It tasted good and the service was very friendly. Price / performance ratio is in order.

Gasthof zum Stern once again with the bus and guests have been. All my ride were very satisfied. Food and staff was very good and I quickly returns the bus driver from Augsburg.

We were at the Inn today eat. I had reserved a day a place for 5 people before. Where we arrived we were brought to the table what is between
gröhlender Tavern was card player. We were sitting not possible there to stay. The noise was so loud we have asked for a new place. We were then taken into a large room which was not particularly nice but quiet. Unfortunately the Inn can make no non-alcoholic Russians though there were non-alcoholic wheat beer. We would have 2 due to the Division. Was not possible despite everything. Food was ok as far as just the steak was cold. It came back after 2 minutes where it was allowed to enjoy a swim in the deep Fryer!

Very lovely and warm traditional alpine guest house. Accommodation and staff very friendly. Restaurant food was excellent. Reminded me of my skiing trips in Austria and Garmish (Germany). My favourite stay on my cycle holiday that week. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Kirk Govier.

The waitresses are ultra rude and it also takes half an eternity until the food is served. The food is nothing special and the soups taste like a Drecklache. Disgusting! I have a Wiener Schnitzel eaten and it was very tough. I would do it all except those who like rude waiters and bad food want to eat, do not recommend.

Provinzgasthof, whose dining room is the charm of an old Sofas vollgestellten musty Hobbyraums the 80s sprayed. The waitress was not very friendly and the cakes are almost frozen.

We were at the 2. Christmas day with the family (5 people) to eat there, as the first got our grandpa his food, twenty! Minutes later, grandma and our son, then it took another 10 minutes to get my food and got in the end after another 10 minutes our Smallest, have no patience and had only quengelte. Between the Serving of the first meal to the last were 40 minutes have passed. This is an impertinence. If the kitchen with lots of guests are not able to cope, then you may just not have so many reservations will be accepted. For us, a very disappointing Christmas day, just then you want to be together with the family to eat. Conclusion: Although we are in the summer, often after Hiking there the fed will be in the future, we prefer to eat in restaurants where the Service is still true. That is a shame.
