We are very often in the Karma Hotel because we have beautiful large apartments, can use a wellness area with sauna and swimming pool. The breakfast buffet is gigantically good and the service perfect. We can do a lot, such as hiking, skiing, cycling, excursions or shopping in Munich. The Tegernsee is not far and from Würzburg a short journey😊

We had visited Karma Bavaria in Sep 2016 and stayed a week before going to Switzerland. We loved the resort and the location. The arrangements at the resort were amazing. The overall ambience, the beautifull locale perfect place to visit round the year. Would be magical when it's snowing.

Excellent service… very good food at Wolpertinger… great newly renovated rooms… Absolutely recommended.

Location brilliant, free car parking. Haven’t try the restaurant due Covid but loads of places to eat in the village. Breakfast should be included for karma members. Lovely indoor swimming pool. Clean facilities. Friendly staff Easy access to other countries. Many trails to walk and overall fantastic place! Love it 🥰

Here, the opening after the Corona break under new management was very successful. Some reviews from the previous season made us hesitate at first, but we really liked the short trip at Karma Bavaria on the beautiful Schliersee. The hotel is quiet and the village center, as well as the lake are within walking distance.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful, we felt really welcome.
No complaint, neither on the room, the equipment, the location, the wellness area and certainly not on the food and the excellent service.
A great atmosphere, please keep it. Hospitality is lived here, thank you for that!

The location is spacious and also very close to the center and the lake, but the value for money does not fit. The equipment and service do not correspond to four stars. The equipment in our apartment was quite shabby. Old, dusty and musty furniture certainly does not correspond to the traditional Bavarian style. But the worst was the disgusting, far too long and above all unhygienic shower curtain in the bathroom.
Furthermore, the staff was obviously understaffed, already very stressed at breakfast, unfriendly, sometimes did not wear a mask and did not keep the necessary safety distance. The air conditioning in the breakfast room was quite upside down, so the cold air caused an unpleasant train. It was cold and I wonder what else was circulating along with the cold air, because I already had a sore throat on the second day. That's why we simply gave up our breakfast, because we felt badly taken care of.
I didn't want to write a review, but I wanted to give my feedback directly at the reception, but I wasn't even asked what my stay at the hotel was like. So overall, the hotel's four stars are a real imposition. Wouldn't I recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay in Bavaria. It was an exceptionally unusual experience being there during extreme snow conditions, avalanches and essentially “lock down”. The resort allowed for a good variety of distractions and the staff were exceptional. Thanks to Dan, Chis & Chis for putting up with our kids! Nothing better than snowy nights, mulled wine and parking lot igloo building!

Thank you for the great hospitality. We loved the beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. The rooms are spacious and have a traditional look to it as well.
During our stay, we enjoyed the breakfast which we found it to be healthy.
The team members are quite efficient and took great care and attention to details.
Also, listening to the records while playing games in the play room was fun.
Nice location, close to train station and popular tourist places.
We went for day trips to nearby towns like Tegernsee, Salzburg, Kufstein.
Quite a few options available to explore different places.

Lovely hotel in the traditional style, with excellent staff and facilities — including a great spa area. Situated in the beautiful lakeside town of Schliersee, the hotel is an ideal base for sightseeing in Bavaria, such as Neuschwanstein Castle, Zugspitze and of course, Munich. Being relatively close to the border of Austria, Karma Bavaria is also handy for a day trip to Salzburg! There are fantastic local amenities and the hotel staff recommended some lovely places to eat. We are family of three, with a toddler and highly recommend this hotel.

Just left after spending 4 nights here. Fabulous hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, giving you the time and show an interest in what you are doing. Very pet friendly, our dog was welcome everywhere and got lots of attention. The breakfast selection was everything you could have wanted, very attractively presented. Very comfortable stay, the pool and spa were great and the relaxation area/ games room great for those damper days! Sorry to be leaving. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful experience, well worth the drive!

This place is the best if you want to roam Munchen… The location of the property is the best you can get with everything nearby.

Its a must come back place and wish I had longer. Helpful staff everywhere, friendly, food great. View stunning and so much to do or dont do anything.

We had a lovely stay! Bar staff and restaurant staff were all lovely. Abdul, Vanessa and Maxamillion so friendly and attentive! Rilind on reception always greeted us with a friendly smile and a polite hello. Nothing was to much trouble!

Accommodation booked for 4 people. When checking in, you will find out that there is only one 4-room for €320. As a coronation there was a bedding of a 1, 20m wide couch, on this we should sleep for two. For the hotel to have had the best years, just sad …

My Wife and I are currently staying here for a Week. The Newly developed spa Area is worth noting. A large Enough pool, Hot Tub and several different Saunas sweeten the "evening" After a Day of hiking.
Room Service Does an excellent Job and has always been very friendly towards us. The Service at Breakfast was also very accommodating, very attentive and friendly. There were even useful Travel Tips for the Day Off.
There is plenty of free Parking in front of the Hotel.
Unfortunately, a few Little things have been negatively noticed: The Receptionist is quickly overwhelmed with her Task. Both fancy Wi-Fi and a coffee Cream that had expired for 4 Months triggered only ununderstanding shoulder Twitching. In Contrast, the young Gentleman was very attentive at the Reception and tries to help with Problems or General Concerns.
The WI-FI is available, but with an Average of 1mbit not streaming is suitable and too slow in 2018.
The Rooms are now up in age and require Renovation. In addition, however, it was very clean and well maintained.
Update: From a retrospective point of view, my Review was a bit premature. The Karma Bavaria can't do anything for the Internet and the Rest is human and can happen. Hence.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with lots of leisure facilities including pool, gym and free space. Great position, would come back here.

The room is dirty and the windows are full of dust. On the terrace there is garbage and is only paved to the partial, however, the pool and the eating is instructive.

Nice reception. Morning mail from the hotel with top offers for the day. Good room-service. Super variety at breakfast buffet. Great view of the mountains.
Kontra: You hear everything, every word that takes place in side rooms.

Nice place to stay, out of the way, fab pool and spa, nice ambience, lovely village, good for mid seasons when not too crowded.

Nice staff. Lovely area. Nice indoor pool and spa. Fun evenings. Some of the food experiments of the chef didn't turn out that great, but overall the restaurant was very good. Good sized hotel rooms. Exceptional self-contained suites. Wi Fi quality variable.

The hotel is a little bit old from the outside, but everything is very nice inside. The spa area is great, the same goes for the restaurant! The breakfast buffet is very varied and really tastefully arranged. The price was very good.

My wife and I had a nice time at the Schliersee and in Karma Bavaria between 22.12.2017 and 2.1.2018. We were treated friendly and kind by the staff at the hotel. The rooms were always clean and the food whether for breakfast or in the evening was always plentiful there. Since it was so nice we want to spend our holidays again in the winter.

Room was quite old and worn out (two bedroom family apartment) and over prized. Restaurant was ok (not special). Swimming pool a hit for the kids. We definitely expected some more luxury for this price and according to the website information/pictures.

Stayed for only one night. The hotel is clean and warm located in a picturesque location. Walking distance to the lake, very close to one more (more scenic). A perfect place for rest and relaxation. Hot pool, Jacuzzi, children's playroom, library and bowling alley. The value for money is ideal. Breakfast was included in the price, gorged to the dump (put like and subscribe to my channel) )

Loved it. Calm place to relax. April is good time to dive in.

Great hotel. We were booked free of charge in a better room category and were very satisfied! Pool and sauna area are absolutely OK for the size of the hotel and was very clean. The breakfast as well as the food in the restaurant are good. The recreation room with pool billiard, table football and bowling alley have been great for a rainy day! The staff is always polite and friendly! Very happy to be back!

What a great spot to stay. If it's your first time in Schliersee then this is the place to stay as they are incredibly helpful and informative about the area. There are also great sight seeing adventures to go on everyday from the hotel. Very friendly staff and super location close to shops and railway station. A real hidden gem!

It's a perfect German retreat… Impeccable service, locals are very sweet and hospitable, always ready to help and just 45 mins away from Munich. It is centrally located and ideal for day trips to Munich, salzburg, berchesgarten, innsbruck, chiemsee, tengersee, fussen, etc… 15 days is what you need to explore the place and other day trips… Recommend to drive in summer, not in winter if you are not use to driving in snow.

Great hotel. Great spa area, very good food. The only point of criticism are the very bright hearing rooms, every word in the Nchbarzimmer without any problems to understand. Had a connecting room, possibly It is better in other rooms.

Great place. Comfortable rooms has a great pool and best of all a room with vinal recordswithgreatmusic to be ayed on a turntable.

Had an amazing stay here. The scenery is superb and the staff at Karma Bavaria couldn't be more helpful if they tried (except one☺). Lovely indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna etc. Self catering studio had everything I needed. Will definitely come back.

Very helpful and understanding staff. They checked us in at 9am as we needed to change for the event later that morning. They also gave us a free drink each in the bar. The room was spacious and tidy. Big balcony with a very nice view. Free Wi-Fi and free parking. Good breakfast. Highly recommend!

Booked this place on Trivago 30 minutes before arrival and think we got a very good deal but had we paid full price we would have been disappointed. The room was huge if not a bit old fashioned/tired looking. Hallways and lifts were in desperate need of an upgrade. Although we did not use them, the facilities looked good, especially the pool and hot tub. Games room also a nice touch. The staff were nice and very dog friendly and the breakfast was decent as it should be at 10 EUR per head. It turns out that the "Karma" brand is a 'holiday club' aka timeshare scheme so be careful you don't get sucked in. There was no hard selling but it feels a bit sleazy nonetheless.

It has been a week since we returned from Karma Bavaria to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary week. And must say that we are still under a heavy hangover from this memorable holiday. Bavaria… what a beauty… its picture perfect with amazing greenery and weather. I was told that I would face challenge in communicating, whereas the fact is that even those few who couldn't speak English would not rest till they have extended all help. Such wonderful people in Bavaria. … Another apprehension I had was the food. Being a vegetarian, I was really concerned on how I will manage for one full week. Even this apprehension proved to be out of place, for there was a great choice for vegetarians, at the resort and outside. Infact I am missing the great food I had during my visit. Few words on the resort — its home away from home. Very cozy rooms, wonderful restaurant, spacious lobby, great leisure activities (incl. Bowling…), excellent swimming pool, etc and health club. Unfortunately we were on the move all through and hence couldn't use the facilities at the resort. I am hoping to return to this lovely place soon enough when I will make sure we keep some time aside to enjoy the facilities at the resort. Lastly, I would like to say a big Danke to the front desk team and the team in the restaurant. They are very friendly people who make the stay so comfortable. I would strongly recommend all my friends to make sure they take a trip to Bavaria once in their life time.

Older hotel, but amenities and activity options are plentiful. Beautiful surroundings and high-up breakfast. Highly recommended!

Excellent facilities (pool, jacuzzi, gym, outdoor kids play area, indoor play center, DVD free hire) and walking distance to the local supermarket. Would highly recommend driving down to Spitzingsee (under 30 mins) i. E. Picturesque lake at an elevation of 1084m. When we visited the apartments with a full kitchenette were under construction. Studio apartments could do with the addition of a basic pop up toaster. Visited in April 2017.

Most amazing place! Schliersee is breathtaking and just an easy hour away from Munich and so many other places! There's so much to do! Karma Bavaria is the cosiest place, has great food and most of all, the friendliest staff! Absolutely loved it!

Great place on foot steps of the alps. Perfect for families. It has big garden, playground and indoor play room. Spacious apartment with kitchen. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The beautiful lake is in walking distance so is the cable car station.

Alpenclub is a wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

The Alpine Club is recommended. The staff is very friendly. He is able re. The sauna and the swimming pool are nice. The only thing that has disappointed is the food at the restaurant.

I stayed in a couple hotels in Schliersee, but Alpenclub is definitely the best! Lots of facilities which makes it also ideal for families since there is a lot to do. I liked the spa and wellness and the indoor pool. And there other activity packages they offer. Oh don't forget to try the wiener schnitzel!

My wife and I spent three wonderful days in wonderful weather on Lake Schliersee. To do this, we select an offer of the Alpine Club. Room was clean. Balcony ok. Look super nice views of the mountains. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We had dinner on two evenings in the restaurant because we had no desire to go somewhere else. It was all in all quite good. Indian influence, because the owners are Indians since 2011. The staff was super nice and friendly. Started at the reservation and stopped paying. The bartender (I unfortunately can't remember name) was very entertaining and friendly. He has very good prepared drinks. The sauna and the pool were lovely. We were able to use everything and it was very quiet. We always look for a fantastic bargain, because we want to come back. We can do it without if and but also recommend.

We were just to eat there and had actually expected more given the good reviews. We Thai very much like food we have can entice us through the Thai-map. For a Thai Cook not sure OK but unfortunately not really the hit.

I must state first that this is also a review of the town of Schliersee since we stayed at the Alpen Club for a week. Most people use the Alpen for travel west and north (castles and Munich). We, however, met with the town Boy Scouts. We also got to know the town priest where the scouts met. In fact we saw him at the yearly parade (JUNE) and service as well as on the street a few times. For kids, the public pool is almost brand new with a slide and a warm Bad right up to the view/shore of the lake. What we paid acting local turned into savings other places charge big bucks for (like Bad Toltz). We ate only once at the Ludwig restaurant. It was nothing like the town places. Ask for the location of the Greek place. The Alpen trip to Neuschwanstein was good, but take the train to Munich. My kids want to live in Schliersee now. I was in fact a town with great experiences around. Don't miss Slyrs whisky down the road in Neuhaus.
