Gut Grasleiten

I visited this farm and spent five nights in the largest apartment they have, which is very beautiful, two floors, large, and has a balcony with a beautiful view. It also has an entrance to the outdoor garden. The farm has activities for children, such as baking cakes, riding ponies, feeding the animals, and entering their barns with a games area. The owner of the farm is very cooperative, kind, and helpful. They provide eggs and milk of their own production at a good price. I recommend it to anyone who loves nature and the tranquility of the farms. It is very suitable for children.

The estate appears to be very well maintained and the Schmid family is very hospitable. We liked the concept, there were many positive surprises: bread service, our own farm shop, the barbecue facilities, the possibility of renting good bicycles very cheaply. It's pleasantly quiet, no busy streets anywhere, a nice place to take a break.

We were here with 1 small child and are very enthusiastic about the farm and the overall concept. The hosts are very friendly and there are plenty of activities right on the farm to spend lovely days with the children. Additionally, activities such as pony riding, pizza baking and more are offered throughout the week. I can only recommend it to all families with small children, our daughter was thrilled and always busy.

Idyllically located farm with very well-kept, clean, high-quality rooms. Children's dreams come true here (petting zoo, good ponies, vehicles of all kinds, great straw castle) and thanks to the well thought-out concept (deck chairs, picnic tables and hammocks ideally placed), parents can also dream, read or relax. Great activities such as eating pizza together etc. Round the whole thing off. Absolutely recommended!

Since we are currently moving into a new house — but it was not ready for occupancy, we spontaneously had to find accommodation elsewhere. Then we discovered Gut Grasleiten online and it was basically “around the corner”. Since we have 2 small children (soon to be 2 & 4), we wanted to try it out. Even though we were working in the new house from time to time and the weather was pretty bad, the children had a lot of fun and we were also very positively surprised by the "Ulmen Wohnung". Every detail has really been thought of here. Great kitchen with great equipment, a fireplace, Wi-Fi, very spacious — there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Since we always shop in farm shops, having food from our own farm shop was a dream. Whether eggs straight from the chicken coop, feeding cows or petting ponies/rabbits. Go out on the tractor or go to the large playground — it's just really nice what the Schmid family has built here. We will definitely come back if we can fully commit to it without any disruptive factors such as moving — but we were able to make a virtue out of necessity and are almost happy about the delay.
