The hotel is so well located — it doesn't get any better if you want to visit the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The clear, turquoise Alpsee is a dream and is also only a 5 minute walk away. The beds are super comfortable — the reception is totally helpful and gives great tips. We will definitely be back!

It was all great. The hotel is very nice and the breakfast very tasty. The lady at the reception is very friendly. Because of Corona, breakfast was not a buffet, but there was still a lot of effort. However, there was a bit of stress in the waiters.

Very nice hotel superbly placed in the valley close to the castles of the surrounding area to visit.

The hotel is in the prime location to visit the castles, catch a bus or carriage, or stroll around the lake. But even better than the location is the service — very attentive staff in the restaurants, front desk and shops! We will try to return.

Very nice hotel with a great view of the castles. Breakfast and Wi-Fi were included with the room rate. Parking is free, but limited. There is no AC, but the rooms come with a fan. The front desk arranged for our castle tickets the night before and the carriage and bus pickup spots were right outside the hotel. The hotel restaurant closes at 8:30, so we ate at the hotel next door. Would recommend staying here!

Great experience! Easy parking right next to hotel. Reception was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Signed us up for a Castle tour for the next morning and made us a dinner reservation. Room was comfortable and they warmly accepted our small dog. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Very easy to get to the Castle tour the next morning. Very convenient. Loved eating dinner with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle.

Not a hotel guest but rather a customer of the restaurant. The restaurant has not many customers in the afternoon. After we had a seat for 10-15 minutes not even one waiter came to us. I even had to go to the waiter to ask for an English menu by myself. I tried to call the waiter to order the food but always get ignored. After that about 2-3 groups of customers went in and the waiter just went straight to them and gave them menus. They could even order foods before us without trying (while I struggled to call them. ) The only reason I could sort out for this is that I'm of different ethnicity. I'm Asian (from Thailand, to be clarified) and all the customers that came after us were westerns (not all of them were German). This is one of the most obvious racial discrimination I've ever experienced in my travels. Ps. The waiter I talked about mainly was a middle age white man who seemed to be their chief.

The front desk staff were fantastic and super friendly. They picked up our tickets for the castles and the breakfast was really great. We had a large patio with a view of the Neuschwanstein Castle just amazing. Worth the stay.

Room 23rd on the 1 floor is very small, about 3-4 Ping. The curtains of the room create a haunted atmosphere, the room light bulb flashes, paired with crowded rooms and scary window views, it is very humorous! Ask the counter Dame to deal with the flashing light bulb, her old man in English to respond to her can not deal with, and the outside is very bright so I do not need to open the main lamp of the room! I asked if I could change rooms, and she flatly refused without even checking them, and then walked away (? ) Please lead to the counter to help communicate, get the same response, said too high she can not repair, please go up on their own to take down the flashing light bulb, the leader said too high we can not take their own, Dame said she is also (? ) The whole process seems like I'm looking for trouble. ˊ_>ˋ later reluctantly informed a middle-aged uncle to take the light bulb to help change (can be dealt with in the first place?

It has excellent location betweent he two castles. Helpful staff. Cheerful environment.

Nice terrace because at the foot of the Hohenschwangau castle and next to the starting point in carriage. By cons service without smiling. Prices in standards.

The castle package was completely worth the cost. The staff here were amazingly helpful — they knew exactly how long each peice of the trip would take, when we should leave, and what we should see (and skip). They even got my wife a cup of tea after the kitchen closed (she was congested on arrival), and made us a box lunch to take on the train when we left. The room was sumptuous and spacious, the view was unbeatable. Can't recommend this one highly enough!

Stumbled on the beautiful Hotel Müller restaurant while strolling by to find some food before our castle tours. Upon entering the entrance with the restaurant signage, the dining establishment is located to the right of the gourmet market. There were quite a few specialty products including snacks, olive oils and wine. Would’ve loved to check these products out if it weren’t for the dining experience or lack of it. My parents and I were nicely greeted and promptly seated in the restaurant. We were the third party seated amongst two other parties who were already in the middle of their meal. Basically, the restaurant was empty. We perused the menu and quickly selected our drinks and meal options as we did not want to be late for our Hohenschwangau Castle tour. We waited for over 20 minutes for the waiter to take our order. In between, we tried to smile and wave to him to catch his attention; however, all 3 servers kept brushing us off as they were busy helping the other 2 tables. As time passed, more parties entered in and voila, the servers were even more too busy to take our order. The table behind us was seated well after us yet the server took their order and spent over 5 minutes explaining the menu to them. Subsequently, another table that was also seated after us was finally given their menus, of which the female waitress who also brushed us off, stood by their table to patiently wait for them to take their order.

Very nice and clean Hotel with great location. Pretty basic room. Very good breakfast. The staff was very helpful Convenient the ticket purchase service for the castle and free private parking. Restaurant inside really overpriced.

The hotel counter staff is amazing, details of the room, see we are foreigners, especially with very slow English explanation, also asked whether we have booked a new Swan Fort tickets, they can help us to get tickets, counters can also borrow umbrellas, is really very intimate hotel, especially the counter staff, to give 100 points.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, genau zwischen den Schlössern Neuschwanstein und Hohenschwangau. Von unserem Zimmer aus und einem der Restaurants hatten wir einen direkten Blick auf das Schloss Neuschwanstein, vom zweiten Restaurant den hat Blick auf Schloss Hohenschwangau. Die Gerichte eher gehobene Küche.

The hotel is right on the way to the castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. The Neuschwanstein Castle is just a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Or you can climb directly in front of the hotel into one of the horse-drawn carriages. To the castle Hohenschwangau you need about 10 min on foot.
The staff at the hotel is super friendly and multilingual.

Excellent location which is at the bottom of the Hohenschwangau Castle and near the lake. The walk to the lake is well worth it. We took the mule carriage, which picks up at the hotel, to the Neuschwanstein Castle (Fairytale). We loved the room and the breakfast was classic fantastic European Breakfast.

The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff are professional and friendly. Rooms were of variable size from small to medium, but comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food, however, I would not recommend eating in for lunch or dinner as the restaurant kept food pre-cooked. A 22 euro piece of salmon that had been kept in the warmer was not good at all.

Both were of good quality, friendly service did the other.
After visiting the castle, we drank something here again.

An absolutely amazing hotel. If you're still considering whether or not to visit Neuschwanstein castle, DO IT, and stay at Hotel Müller in Hohenschwangau, you will not regret it. The staff is friendly, the service is fantastic, and the hotel is ridiculously quaint and charming! The staff even picked up our castle tickets for us so that we didn't have to go up the mountain early to get them ourselves. The rooms are a good size and have all the amenities you need, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The breakfast spread is great. There is literally nothing I could think to improve about this place, and my wife and definitely plan on coming back!

Excellent service, the room was very clean, the breakfast was very good, the whole hotel in very good condition with great views, free parking, we also got the tickets to Neuschwanstein Castle for the next day without management fees.

Really great experience here. Accommodating staff during reservations. Nice rooms (ours had a great view of Neuschwanstein), good food, excellent location for parking and visiting the nearby castles. Reception got our castle tickets for us and helped with all the logistics. If you're going to the castles, this is where you want to stay.

Great location to Neuschwanstein Castle. Beautiful hotel, great balcony, views are magnificent but the beds are the most uncomfortable thin twins Ive ever seen. Especially for the price per night being over 300 bucks.

Fantastic hotel & extremely helpful to customers! They ordered tickets for the entrance to the castles the night before & saved us standing in line. The breakfast is everything you could ever dream for. Perfect location to stop in your room & take a break in between your hikes. I would return there & highly recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel on Aug 15-16. Our upgraded room was spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Breakfast was good with a great variety of choices. Parking is next to the hotel and was readily available. What surprised us the most was the level of front desk help we received in the morning. It was really above and beyond and extremely professional. My biggest thanks to the front desk people who helped us.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay! Breakfast included, easy parking for cars, walkable to all castles, museum and the lake nature walk — — — and you can't beat the views! Good food and some fun shopping as well. However — the area shuts down at 6pm and you can only eat dinner at one of the two hotels. Highly suggest going to a grocery and have a dinner picnic at the hotel.

I spent 3 days here in April 2016 with my boyfriend and it was the most amazing hotel experience either of us have ever had. It was thanks mostly to Alexander, who made sure all of the details were cared for! He took care of making reservations at the castles and horse carriage, had wine and fruit sent to us, made us reservations for dinner.
Our last day we had a very early train to catch, and the cab never arrived. So, he arranged for a hotel staffer to drive us.
It was truly an amazing visit and I hope to be back here again one day!

Typical Bavarian hotel located in the centre of Schwangau. Convenient for those travelling by car because you have the possibility to park in the immediate vicinity and for those who want to visit the castle of Neuschwanstein. We had dinner in their restaurant and we were happy, but it is advisable to book. Great breakfast with German specialties.

We had a last minute booking into this fabulous boutique hotel in near the end of a picturesque street right beneath Hohenschwangau Castle with a great night time view from the dining room over to Neuschwantstein Castle.
The staff were amazingly friendly and so helpful and our spacious room was refurbished yet retained plenty of old world charm. We had our own balcony although did not get a chance to use it and we chose to dine in the restaurant where again the service was impeccable and the food could not be faulted. Meals were a generous size and even though they were busy with a tour bus staying at the same time we never felt forgotten.
Anyone thinking about visiting the surrounding castles why not stay the night here instead of in Fussen and enjoy the hospitality that the friendly staff at Hotel Muller provide.
This hotel is well worth the money.
Would definitely love to visit again.

The Hotel Müller is ideally located at the foot of Schloss Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castle. The service staff at the hotel is extremely friendly. The hotel itself is very clean. The pillows are a little hard. The colour of the towels (red) does not let you know if they are also clean. The breakfast is rich but partly equipped with "good & cheap" products.
At a later hour it will be very quiet in the place.
The price and performance under such a prominent neighborhood is right.

I state that here I only the restaurant of the hotel and not the rooms.
I found myself very well: great service, beautiful view, interior of the very nice room with typical wooden furnishings (see photo), prices more than honest, good food.
Absolutely recommended.

Bad restaurant, disorganized staff and not very polite, absolutely avoid the noodles at the "" Pesto "" "which were really worth (14, €50), not recommended.

Comfortable room with a spacious bathroom and balcony. Excellent and friendly service. Delicious buffet breakfast included in a cozy wood paneled dining room with a view of the castle. Take a short walk up to Lake Alpsee and relax and enjoy. Tip: It gets a little noisy and crowded on the street once the tour busses arrive. Try to buy your tickets to the castle online so you don't have to wait in the long line for tickets. Try to get an early morning time and the crowds will be less.

Great location and restaurant.

The position at 25 min walk from Neuschwanstein Castle is its strong point. The rooms are clean but not very large, there is no air conditioning and the pillows are particularly uncomfortable (very soft for instance). Breakfast from 7-10:30 is a buffet without infamy without praise. There is a room yipo greenhouse overlooking the Castle where you can eat, very nice. The restaurant in the evening was little frequented, the really bad cake good goulash, 0, water 75 cl € 5. Disappointment. Finally the price of 130 €/night for double bed and breakfast is far too high.
Tip: If you have to eat all the local attention at 18 close (the shops close at 17)

The hotel is very pleasant, simple, but tasteful, decent kitchen, Breakfast very good, hotel is very well — almost in the middle between 2 castles, true to Noisivision will have to ride on horses or on the bus, walk uphill for about 30-40 minutes walk, good exercise.

Review its only at the restaurant.
The restaurant is very nicely decorated in local style and with much sought after and valuable.
The service is as much about quality and mise en place very well taken care of although not perfect.

Such as were only for lunch in this Hotel: This was by far the filthiest Hotel I have seen until now have! The toilets are not to use because they stink and versifft. I had almost passed, when I entered the room. The food was. Oh well. The roast beef is dry. The Vegetables, however, fresh and good. So it is apparently with Hotels, the once in a life time visited and always "replenishment" comes. : — ( ( ( ( ( (.

This was one of the most stellar hotel experiences of our trip. It was wonderful to have downtime away from the day crowds in this marvelous lovely hotel. We were in Room 55 which had a beautiful view of Hohenschwangua Castle. The room was roomy and the luxury of having a tub after days of showers was a real treat! The room had fruit and water and comfort galore. This is truly a place I recommend highly and will return to in the future. Hotel Muller is everything you would want in a retreat and more.

Very nice service. Especially they booked the ticket to the castles and this removed the burden to go to the ticket center. Foods in the restaurant is also good. Location is ideal. I can't ask more than this.

As always, staying at the Hotel Müller has been an excellent and enjoyable experience. This was my fifth time at the hotel, and the rooms, service and dining were wonderful. Thank you.

Loved it, Everyone was very helpful, Very nice. The carriage ride to the castle was fun. We got the full package and it was great. Food was delicious, service was great. I really have nothing bad to say. We would love to stay here again. We will recommend Muller to everyone wanting to spend the a night or two (we spent three) there's not much to do in the town itself but great hiking trails, paddle boats. Hotel Muller staff can help you plan your stay.

Having just been there this autumn/fall (2 adults, kids aged 6 and 8), I'd say definitely stay a few nights soaking up this locale and go for walks / short drives in the area around the hotel (apart form the castles, area has very charming lakes, forrest trails, and nice town to visit (Fuessen nearby has very good eating and shopping in the old town). I mention this because I cant emotionally seperate howm, uch we enjoyed the spot and this hotel. This hotel is charming and extremely well located. Unless you have mobility issues, don't be concerned about the walk up to castle, even with children ages 5-6 and up. It looks further on the map that it really is, but it is still a real walk, but plenty of elderly are doing it on foot. So to the hotel. This is a rural, Family style hotel. It has comfortable beds, quiet rooms, some rustic charms, but no 'smells' that you can get in older places. Do not expect corporate 4-5 star facilities, but to love it all the same as rural comfort. There really are rooms with views of the castle (Schloess Neuschwanstein). The dining room (for breakfast and dinner) has traditional alpine wood paneling. Meals and wines are OK (nothing special or disappointing). There's an outdoor terrace area for a few Bavarian beers or cafe style dining. The biggest plus is the location and very helpful, competent staff. They really do help you with anything and yes they get your tickets for you!

Exceptional in every way. We got the Superior double Castle Package and could not have been more pleased. From the minute we walked in, the service was wonderful, every detail was taken care of, no waiting for anything. The room far exceeded my expectations. A large living room with a comfy sofa and chair, a TV a writing table, wine and glasses awaiting us, basket of fresh fruit the next day. French leading out to a huge terrace with a great view of Neuschwanstein Castle. A very big separate bedroom with plenty of storage space, robes, a safe deposit box another TV and windows looking out to the main little street. The dinner that was included was superb, and again no wait, we were seated in the pretty glassed in terrace and at once they began serving us a pre arranged 5 course meal. Escorted the next day with our castle tickets right to the horse drawn ride up the hill to the castle. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting.
