We had a great week. A very nice hotel. The food was great and the staff very friendly. We are happy to come back.

Wir sind nicht zum ersten Mal im Hotel Filser und es ist immer wieder ein absoluter Genuss sich hier verwöhnen zu lassen. Das gesamte Personal, vom Koch, über die Servicekräfte, über die Rezeption, das Housekeeping und auch die Kurabteilung, alle sind super freundlich und Gästeorientiert. Das Hotel liegt zentral fußläufig zur Innenstadt und zum Forggensee. Vor einem Urlaub hier sollte man auf jeden Fall eine Diät machen, das Essen hier ist von einer Qualität und Geschmack… ein echter Hochgenuss! Das Hotel ist sowohl für einen Kurzurlaub wie auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt bestens geeignet.

We had a newly refurbished room. Very nice, modern with 2 balconies. Breakfast was good, for every taste. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nice cozy family hotel. Good and yet quiet location. Parking spaces just outside the door. Five minutes walk to the city centre. Ludwig's Festival House and the Forggensee also within walking distance. The single rooms are not exactly large but clean and functional. Very good breakfast. 1a fruit platter and top birch cereal. Good cross trainer and treadmill in the fitness room.

Beautiful rooms, excellent Frühstcksbuffet, classic home cooking with excellent dishes, very nice ambiance and friendly atmosphere.

Nice room top views of the Alps, the best food, super friendly staff.

We loved Hotel Filser! The staff was great, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was awesome!

This was an outstanding place to stay. It had comfortable rooms with wonderful views and reasonable prices. The staff was more than friendly and helpful, obviously liked their jobs, and were proud of where they lived. It was great place to see the Castles and a short ride to the Zugspitze in Garmisch. I will stay there if I am ever in the area again.

The hotel is only to recommend, there were 10 very nice holidays in June 2016.
The location of the hotel is super, 10 minutes the city centre can be reached.
At night you have 'Rest' really because there is no durchgangsstrasse for traffic.
At the buffet, there's our opinion nothing to complain about, it is available and tasty and appetlich arranged everything every day.
The breakfast is offered very early, at 7 30 pm the room is already open in other hotels usually only from 8 00 watch… early riser, very good service a as we find,! The coffee is super… it is at least properly awake!
Room top, very large balcony in the rain can be used is because it was completely covered!
Even if one has booked no HP, from 18 30 you can take tasty and adequate meals to restaurant menu very civil prices.
The entire staff there during our stay nothing, here is kindness and service available, no matter what you want to know or other assistance needed… all have been no problem!

Super Standort, toller Blick vom Hotel auf Neuschwanstein.

We stayed here in August 2015. Beautiful and comfortable. Staff was amazing. Wonderful experience. I recommend that you stay here and enjoy the area sights and the warm and welcoming people. Will stay here again when we return to the area.

We were very satisfied. Could bring our dog and were served by the staff very well and very friendly. Great view from the balcony on the two castles with the mountains in the background.

Excellent hotel, nice room great location and very friendly staff. Very good price as well, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

My wife & I stayed there for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had a balcony with a view of the castle. The employees were the best as they were always helpfull and put up with my bad German speaking capabilities. We rented a couple bikes from the hotel and rode up to the castle. Not right in town which we liked. Still within walking distance to the banhof with our luggage. The breakfast was great. I recommend this hotel. John, Acton, CA, USA.

My wife and I, checking in without a reservation, fairly late at night, were greeted well enough and given a wonderful room for 98 euros. (February) The view was spectacular and the room was large and comfortable. As with most, (all? ), hotels in Germany the Wi-Fi was limited to one login at a time. To Americans, that is unsatisfying indeed, but again, no worse than other hotels. There was no charge for Wi-Fi use. It was very convenient to the Hohenschwangau/Neuschwanstein area. The view I mentioned looked right at Neuschwanstein Castle on the mountain in the distance. We loved this beautiful little place. Without question we recommend it and would seek it out again.
