Bavaria City Hostel - Design Hostel Hostel

Absolute client not friendly. Needed to pay in advance 142% (112 polish zlotych ~ 28 € for international money transfer) instead of 20%, because their online payment system didn’t work with my polish card (my friend’s card too) which works everywhere. They didn’t allow me to pay 20% which I supposed to pay for my booking in advance. My flight has been canceled and fortunately I didn’t visit this hostel. After long discussion they decided to refund me 10% of all payment amount what means that I have lost 132% of my money, instead of 20%. Highly not recommend because of disgusting customer service.

The hostel is centrally located in the pedestrian area, all you need is within walking distance. Room + bathroom super clean and tidy. All are totally nice as well the booking was uncomplicated and for questions or concerns someone is always contactable.

Excellent location, convenient check-in and checkout process, nice staff. My room was a bit stuffy and small for 5 people though. Nice of them to offer a bus pass to castles if you stay for more than a couple of nights.

Clean and cozy hostel. Good location. The room was small, but all the amenities are in place.

Told us we would have our own room over the phone then booked it. She put us in the 4 bed bunk room saying we'd have it to ourselves however she barged in whenever she chose to and wouldn't stop or give our passports back. Horrid experiance and would never go there again. Facilities are nice but the service was awful. You've been warned. Before the rude owner comes, this was in 2014 but it seems nothing has changed. It was so bad I remembered the name of this place for 4 years.

Are a lot in hostels.
It is perfectly located in the city centre and looks close to the main railway station.
Rooms were super clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The setup appears new.

Very Good hostel. Both in terms of accommodation and in terms of price. Such a plus, as a bus ticket in Germany if more than one night sleep and discount to the castles! There are no sockets near the beds, the Internet only in the hallway is normal, the kitchen is small and if one company takes it, the second just will not fit, no soap in the shower. Well, and so just to sleep quite acceptable. We were leaving at 7:00 in the morning and at 23. Therefore, cons and did not notice.

It was great experience. One of the best beds. The location is awesome right in the middle of the main Street in town.

The staff cares little for its guests, the check-in can take 40 minutes. Room small and dirty. Staff just comes into the room at half past eight in the morning and wakes you up. On the day of departure you will be thrown out. Most of the kitchen utensils did not work and the kitchen closes early in the evening. Security cameras give you the feeling of being monitored every time you handle it.
All in all one of the worst hostels I've stayed in.

The double room we had was very small. We were traveling by motorbike and there was no Abatellmöglichkeit. The kitchen has very funny opening hours and there are two cameras there. Okay one for the kitchen I can understand, but a camera that points towards eating table… Also went the oven when we were there not. All in all it was the worst value for money we had on our vacation.

Stayed 2 separate nights. Staff was friendly, plentiful showers and bathrooms, clean. Dorm rooms were very nice.

This is probably the worst hostel I have ever been to. I paid $50 upon arrival and looked around and didn't like the security of the building. There is one lock to the building itself. No locks on the individual door. They have drawers to "lock" your valuables with two metal screw in clips with hoops. One good swing of the hammer and someone could steal valuables. Downstairs there is a baggage locker in a basement with no cameras. There are signs posted everywhere that they do not accept any responsibility. There are no electric plugs inside the beds themselves so you probably will end up charging your phone in the open and with no locks on each door hope for the best. I got there for ten minutes and decided to leave and the receptionist (very nice) said the owner refused to refund my money but took 88% of it for the cancellation. I have called hostelworld and stated this hostel should not be listed. The reception is only available at certain hours after 21:30 which complicates security even more. It is apparent that the hostel owner is new to the industry only being in the business for 3 years and skimping on man hours and basic costs of security. Book elsewhere you won't regret it.

Clean, nice location, close to places to eat. Staff were informative, but be careful the old lady might enter your room without knocking. She likes to check on people and make sure everything okay including the kitchen and your payment, check out in time ect.

The location of this hostel was wonderful. Right in the middle of the adorable downtown shopping area. I had a terrible situation on my way to the hostel where I was left behind by my bus and the bus had my coat and my luggage! I called the receptionist, Alexandra, and she did everything she could for me to help get the luggage back. She was so warm and helpful and I'm so thankful! The hostel itself is very nice. It is incredibly clean and the beds are comfortable and private. My only complaint, and this is no fault of the hostel's, is that the layout is very odd and there is barely a lounge to hang out in. Don't let that deter you, though. This is a wonderful place to stay!

Stanze e bagni puliti. Stanze con letti a castello. È possibile lasciare il bagaglio in ostello se si vuole continuare il giro per Füssen dopo il check-out, consigliano però l'uso di un lucchetto. Ostello in pieno centro, a pochi minuti dalla stazione. Consigliato!

A bit overpriced. The lady working in the morning is rude. Hot rooms and not enough toilets.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Definite recommendation.

It was fine, we had to share 2 bathrooms, and we had to bunk beds, there was not much privacy, and light from outside mad it hard to sleep.

Top location — close to the train station with good connection to the Neuschwanstein castle. Very nice and clean Hostel in a great location. Mattresses were very good. Community kitchen was new and very well equipped. Thus, we were able to feed us well on the evening. In addition, there is plenty of Restaurants right next to it. Bathrooms were new and clean. All in all, we like to come again. :-) )

I rarely give five stars. But this establishment was awesome. It was just awesome. It was — Reasonably priced — Fast Wi-Fi — Close to the train/bus station — Free locks available for their lockers — Close to a bunch of shops, bars, and delicious restaurants — Extra clean and extra cozy The lady in the front desk was also extremely nice. I wouldn't reserve online. Save a few bucks and just show up. We showed up on like a Friday and got 2 beds without a hitch. Awesome place.

I'm traveling 10 countries around the Europe and no doubt it's so far the best. Small but very clean and lean. The staffs are so nice and she even gave me a card for free bus to castle. Price is very reasonable. So comfortable to stay here.

This was by far the best hostel my wife and I stayed at in Germany. For the price it was excellent and the staff were amazing. They really seemed to go above and beyond to be helpful and informative. We had been staying at hotels in the same price range our entire trip and this was by far the best place in every way.

The Hostel located in the center of the city and it is easy to find! this is a very nice hostel including rooms with different fantastic themes! the rooms are very new, clean and well designed. The master is very nice and helpful, she offered us some delicious dessert!
