Wellness Pension Salzgrotte

Simply great! Some time ago I organized a family reunion and this took place with an overnight stay: the Salzgrotte guesthouse is very well maintained and clean.
The host family is absolutely friendly and calm. Our family sat together in the “breakfast room” in the evening. There you can relax and have drinks that are really not expensive.
In the morning the hostess made fresh rolls. Absolutely delicious, there was juice, water, eggs. Great muesli, jams. Hearty food. Etc. We all really felt so comfortable. Everything is just right here, price/performance and there was also humanity. An extraordinary place and we were happy to have found such a pearl.

I was here for the 8-hour long-term alkaline bath in the HotTub and stayed another night to be able to regenerate properly. I didn't think I could do the 8 hours so effortlessly. In the HotTub you have space to move around and are not as restricted as in the bathtub. There are also massage jets and whirlpool bubbles. The water temperature was always very pleasant and was between 32-36 degrees Celsius. It was good weather and covered, protected from the scorching heat.
In fact, I had great support from Simone Eckert, who gave me other treatments at the same time and gave me excellent culinary care. There were some Jentschura bath products to try here. Here we respond very individually to you and your wishes. It is a guesthouse, which also reflects the personal closeness to the hosts, so no mass processing.
I was also allowed to test the Aura lounger, which was very relaxing. Simone also worked with frequencies that further support my healing process.
I particularly liked the water here, which you could drink for free; it ran down like oil.
The rooms are very clean and look like new. The shower is accessible at ground level without steps. There is no classic shower head, but a Kneipp pipe. Yes, Kneipp treatments are also carried out here. A cold shower in the morning was very refreshing, but warm water also comes out.
The treatments were good for me, and I experienced an improvement in my joint mobility, especially with the bath.

A very special and recommended guesthouse. The operators are very attentive and concerned about the well-being of the guests. The interaction is very personal.
The room was very nice and clean. In the bathroom you can have a special experience when showering, because instead of a normal shower head there is a Kneipp tube.
The breakfast is varied and delicious. Guests’ wishes are addressed individually. In no time at all, I made delicious oat milk from oat flakes. The rolls are baked there in-house and taste delicious.
A visit to the salt cave is definitely worth it. With great attention to detail, an oasis of relaxation has been created here, which also has a positive effect on the respiratory tract.

Alkaline bathing? no, much more than that: total wellness!
After a long time dealing with the topic of acidification of the body and detoxification, we are completely fascinated by alkaline bathing. We were able to experience this and so much more with the Eckert family in Sondernau, very close to Fulda, in the Sondernau salt cave!
We stayed there as a married couple with two friends for 6 nights and spent 8 hours (! ) on 5 days in the bathtub with alkaline water and were completely pampered with delicious (alkaline! ) food and a wide range of information about health. Simone Eckert impressed us with her tireless, warm, loving manner and helped us to have an unforgettable spa stay. She prepared, prepared and served everything so warmly and with love (mostly from home-made food! ) and also gave a wide range of information about nutrition, ingredients and their effects. The Kneipp treatments that she showed us to use at home were also good for us and we still use them today.
Thanks to the intensive detoxification processes in the bathtub, the various nutritional supplements and the diverse applications that we were able to use there, we feel “renewed”. We have become much more mobile, the knee pain was no longer noticeable after the second day of swimming — and this is still the case today, more than 4 weeks later! — the skin has become silky soft and the respiratory tract is free and healthy again.

Wolfgang: Alkaline bathing and wellness for four – for a whole week – what an experience!
We were completely surprised by the rich, extensive program — pampering on all levels: (1) eight hours of bathing every day and (2) with full alkaline meals — prepared and served with love and experience! (3) Health tips and explanations (especially from Simone) explained in a very understandable way, (4) before and after relaxation in the salt cave (respiratory system! ), on the aura harmony lounger (healthy, bubbling hexagonal water) and the massage couch. (5) We received extensive information about Kneipp applications, foot treatments, energy work — especially the influence of hexagonal water etc. (from Matthias).
So I was significantly more mobile, more relaxed and calmer. My eyes no longer burn and — although I wasn't overweight — I have lost a little weight. My facial skin had become significantly younger and was less wrinkled — which friends and acquaintances noticed immediately after my return.
We felt completely pampered with this all-round wellness package and each of us was fully accepted in our issues. Additional treatments were individually tailored and could sometimes be used free of charge.
It was a really wonderful, unforgettable time with Simone and Matthias!
Super recommended, again at any time, maybe. Even just suitable for a long weekend! Thank you thank you!
